- Lily (1/5): Stay was fine, but the post-checkout experience with an unjustified cleaning charge was disappointing. - The apartment itself was fine, however our experience after checkout was disappointing. We were contacted regarding an additional cleaning fee despite leaving the property in a tidy condition, including cleaning, running the dishwasher, placing washing in the machine, and leaving rubbish ready for disposal. The issues raised were minor (a small amount of rubbish, a drink left in the fridge, and a mark on a surface), which we believe fall under standard cleaning between guests.
We were then provided with an invoice that included standard housekeeping costs, which should already be covered as part of the stay.
Overall, this process felt unreasonable and stressful, and I would recommend future guests take photos on departure and be cautious regarding potential additional charges.
- Aaron (3/5): Great positioning but overall lacking apartment - Great price and location, extremely central & access to public transport, shops etc. There was also ample cooking equipment, dishes & utensils for a comfortable stay.
There was also a very detailed guide for apartment access, key collection & apartment utilities that was very helpful.
The complex had a concierge available 24/7 through desk or mobile access for any additional concerns too. Apartment conditions:
The beds are very small and very low. The second room was basically a walk in pantry, had no windows and barely any room to move around the bed. The power point in the loungeroom was also loose from the wall & the apartment door violently and loudly vibrated randomly at all hours.
Amenities:
The kitchen appliances were limited but functioning; we had to clean the kettle on arrival due.
There was only one TV in the entire apartment
Beds were extremely small and overly soft; not well suited to large people.
Key collection & Apartment Access:
Key collection was a 400m walk away with no options for on site collection, making it unsuitable for people with accessibility concerns. The apartment is also on a very high floor, with may be of concern to visitors with vertigo.
Suitability for business:
The owner refused to give an invoice, even after a formal request, so this apartment is not suitable for business stays.
