The garden is lovely too. Small thing but the gas heater didn't seem to be working. Not a real bother to us, but there is only one bathroom.

- Laura (8/5): Very good - The accommodation was exactly like pictured, super clean, with an easy check-in and in the best location for access to the Main Street and wineries. The bikes are a little dated and probably need a bit of TLC, so we ended up hiring bikes from a local winery instead. Also the pool didn’t feel heated, but we had a quick dip anyways because why not? It was still clean.

- Gillian (8/5): A nice cosy comfortable cottage, close to all McLaren Vale amenities. - Comfortable cottage in handy location a 5 minute walk both to the centre of town and some of the smaller wineries on the same road. Lack of privacy. The booking.com description didn't make it clear that the house was split in 2, with the other half also a holiday rental. We could hear conversations through the door, and presumably vice versa.
