Guest Reviews
- Susan (9/5): -
- Maree (7/5): Room was quiet & comfortable. Food was edible but very plain. No option but to eat in the room. - Comfortable, good to sleep when deprived from a long flight. So booking for a 4 hour session does not work because you cannot check into your flight that early. Therefore, we did not get our full 4 hours. Disappointed we didn't realize this. The dinner menu was limited and there was only one option available.
- Louise (8/5): -
- Maz (5/5): I won't be using it again - That the hotel is based in the airport. The staff were friendly. The room was freezing and no ability to adjust the a/c. The meal provided across the way at the transit lounge was awful....inedible. There are better in-airport transit hotels with better food at a better price point than this one.
- Victoria (6/5): Basic but quiet place to rest between flights. - It was a clean bed for the night. Very quiet. Slept well. There is a huge step up from the bedroom into the bathroom. Reception said it was the same for all rooms. My elderly friend who came in a wheel chair could barely manage to get into the bathroom. I had to lift the desk chair into the bathroom so he could hold onto it to climb in. If you have any disability where high steps could be a problem, don’t choose the Ambassador in Terminal 2. Better to stay at the Aerotel in Terminal 3. Overpriced.

- Rebecca (7/5): - Easy location, clean and quiet. Did the job for a long lay over. Breakfast limited, expensive
- Tracey (7/5): Convenient for a long stop over between flights. - Location. Convenient. Expensive for a 6 hour stay.
- Catherine (10/5): - Rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful Nothing
- Neil (7/5): - Great to be able to get some sleep on long journey. The room was a decent size. VERY hard to find. None of the maps in the airport showed the location and there was no signage till about 100m from the hotel. I could hear people talking in the corridor. Not a big problem as not many people. but given this hotel is ONLY for sleep better sound-proofing of the main door would be good.
- Songkran (7/5): given costs would try and book differently next time - smooth check in.
Breakfast at external lounge was below expectations single beds
- Kaushik (10/5): -
- Karen (8/5): Good option for a layover at Changi. - Simple, clean accommodation in T2. Very handy for catching a sleep on longer layovers. The breakfast was poor quality and unappealing. The hotel in T3 does a much better job with its short à la carte menu.
Having booked a room without private bathroom I wouldn’t do this again. The bathrooms are clean and acceptable but I didn’t enjoy having to leave my room to access them.
- Dominique (8/5): Very convenient stay airside terminal 2 - Location airside terminal 2 was perfect. It was very quiet and clean A little dated and tired
- Murray (4/5): - Beds No fridge , tv , poor maintenance of room appearance ,
- Thitichaya (9/5): -

- clint (6/5): - I liked that i had a bed to lie in after a long fl8ght from nz and a long lay over before my next flight $545nzd ($325usd) for 12 hours in a hotel room is extortion to say the least.
- Steve (7/5): -
- Phil (8/5): -
- Marjorie (10/5): Exceeded my expectations - I like that it had everything that I needed. The room was cold and I did not know how to adjust it.
- Cristin (10/5): -
- Emile (8/5): - De kamer Het ontbijt
- Casey (10/5): Best option for staying airside. Quiet, comfy and private room - Best option for staying airside. Room was very comfy, quiet and private. Bathrooms are excellent and staff friendly. I had an 8 hour stopover and managed 5 hours sleep with a shower and dinner. Well worth the price. The food was ok. Not the same quality as a proper hotel, but still hit the spot for a stopover and don’t have to walk around the airport looking for food. Still well worth it.
- phillip (10/5): - every thing nothing
- Lee (10/5): -
- dave_mitch (9/5): - Excellent location and very comfortable and quiet. Staff that served us were professional, friendly and professional. Nothing.

- Jeff (10/5): -
- Yamuna (10/5): Few hours of stay but was great - Clean and location very close to our gates Everything
Was good
- Jan (10/5): -
- Julie (7/5): Don’t eat here. Just rest and shower and you won’t be disappointed - Quick and easy to access Definitely skip the meal offered was cold (not hot) as should have been and stale . Shower was good and the rest for 4 hours in between flights was great
- Adrian (9/5): - A hotel inside the airport is handy. It is clean and quiet. A very comfortable place to get a few hours of sleep during a night time stop over. It is quite expensive for the time you have but i probably necessary.
- Brent (6/5): -
- Kelly (5/5): -
- Iain (9/5): Excellent -
- Tim (2/5): -
- Brian (8/5): - Everything except the air-conditioning. The air-cond was too cold in Room 324. The controller was not adjustable and seems to be in a constant state of error.
- Nicole (4/5): Expensive and uncomfortable. Staff were lovely - There was a bed and shower The bed was the hardest I have ever slept on. So uncomfortable.
Very limited food options for included meals.
- Jonathan (9/5): - Loved that breakfast was included A little difficult to find. The lift needs a notice near the door.
- Lisa (9/5): Enjoyable but expensive - Breakfast was good ,convenient location. Price for 1 night was at the top fir what yo
u actually get for your money.
- Constance (7/5): Good rest and good food - It was quiet, clean and adequate. The shower had a jungle shower head, that was really nice. Also I really liked the meal at the Ambassador lounge which was included in my stay. The bed was so hard! Even though I was desperately tired I had to get up after 4 hours. Also I was surprised that the bathroom wasn't in the room but it was fine, I didn't meet any other guests.
- Meng (9/5): -
- craig (7/5): The room was clean and had all you wanted for a short layover. - The breakfast was not all that good as no actual cooking station, no sausages, no bacon, didn’t really cater for a western appetite. Just had toast and a coffee.
- yanita (8/5): -
- hill (7/5): Convenient and comfortable for our required short stopover! - Location, cleanliness and convenience Breakfast was a little underwhelming with little choice or seemingly fresh options with more things available in usual business hours
- Gillian (8/5): Ideal hotel for an overnight stay at Changi Airport - Overnight stay required before moving on to Penang the following day. No window in room but this wasn't an issue. Very comfy bed, clean and spacious room / bathroom. Minimal hanging space but that was to be expected for a transit hotel - our first time in one - was a good experience. Nothing
- Dalvinder (8/5): - Location , beds comfortable clean service at front desk good Kettle needs to b cleaned inside , plastic spoon used to mix drinks , trash bins needs to b cleaned from outside getting kind of rusted .
- Latiffah (8/5): A good stay. - The room is clean.
A bit warm - during that time, air-con maintenance was on-going. The rate is very expensive.
- Helen (8/5): Fine if you can use it! - It was fine just for a sleep I didn’t realise that I couldn’t get to the hotel if I couldn’t check in, and had booked to stay as had a very early flight 6.30 am, check in wasn’t until 3 hours before
Also very few showers so was ‘t sure one would be available
- Usa (10/5): -
- Heather (9/5): Great stay, not fancy but clean and met my needs - Perfect for an overnight
- Gladys (8/5): -
- Grace (8/5): Clean, comfortable and easy check in. I would go again. - I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff, the cleanliness of the room. Everything was perfection until . . . There was a problem caused by the upgrades in the airport and power was cut to my room during the night. It was a little unnerving - although I was travelling with friends - I was alone in my room. there was no emergency light in the room so it was completely dark. when I tried to use the phone there was no signal for me to ring reception to find out what had happened. it wasn't until one of my friends saw my query on the group message and went down to find out what had happened.
- Corinne (8/5): My Changi sanctuary on long-haul trips - Clean, quiet, comfortable, perfect to break my trip from Australia to Europe. Have done it twice now. Right next to Butterfly Garden and good hawker food. Free breakfast is okay but hot food is always nearly cold. :( And of course it is not cheap but worth it to me. Also no external windows (but I am only there to sleep).
- Karen (10/5): Perfect - Everything was perfect.
Extra amenities were great. The breakfast in the lounge was perfect.
Staff very helpful
Highly recommend for a quick break between flights Nothing
- Gillian (9/5): A haven in a busy hectic airport - The room was very clean, and after a 14 hour flight I needed somewhere that I could have some peace and quiet. This room didn’t disappoint. Totally sound proof, and with no windows there was no light preventing me from getting a few hours sleep, as I had an unexpected 12 hour lay over, and needed the rest. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again should the need arise.
- Katie (10/5): Great way to spend 12 hours on layover. Very clean, efficient and easy to find. - I loved that it was easy to find and access. Great spot to get some sleep on a long lay over. I will be using this again on my way back across the globe. Nothing at all really. It is expensive but you get what you pay for in terms of convenience
- Jenny (1/5): Awful - Nothing Your receptions staff were rude. The included meal was a joke, poor quality, little choice and messy. What I did eat was whole foods such as a banana, the rest I was worried it might make me sick. The 6 hours were up by minutes and the power was turned off (with only an emergency light in the room). It took me longer to get out because there was no power. All you had to do was turn all the lights on if you want to get someone out. I will never stay with you again!!
- Heather (2/5): -
- Peter (10/5): - Comfortable and clean. Also quiet and great for sleeping. Good food included Long way to terminal 2.
- Cheria (9/5): - Very accommodating for midnight layover, standard amenities and breakfast buffet. Nothing
- Santos (10/5): - Loved the receptionist we worked with, she was super sweet!!
- Leanne (10/5): -
- Dana (6/5): Nicht noch einmal - Die Unterkunft ist völlig überteuert! Sie war sehr ungemütlich und die Klimaanlage sehr laut!
- Jaimie (8/5): -
- Guest (2/5): -
- Lucia (9/5): -
- Brigitte (8/5): Great to stay and sleep for 7 hours before my next flight and have shower and toilet ensuite - Location and ease Noise
- Gianni (9/5): - all good no issues
- Borges (9/5): -
- Fakudze (8/5): Ideal for a traveler - Location was perfect
- Baldev (9/5): -
- alexjsnell (9/5): -
- Lesley (7/5): A lot for what ypu get - Right in the heart of the airport and really quiet. Very nice bed and linen. I had a 12 hour stay so got 2 passes for a food lounge. The room was freezing and there was nothing I could do about it. WiFi in the room was very weak and TV has very few options. No window to outside Really expensive I thought

- cb58d1091ef9717a32fe9661cc6ac5ee (8/5): A bit expensive but very convenient. - Very convenient for any transit passenger. A bit pricey.
- 6f0379d0b7e973937fc882d5ef38a618 (7/5): The hotel was clean. - Staff named IVY was particularly very helpful. The A/C was too cold and centralized, no regulator and control.
The bathroom has higher floor at the entrance ,people with mobility aid like me have a hard time to enter and high risk.
- bfb7c3b094c271ff9e7c6526f0c2b9fc (9/5): Perfekte Erholung während langer Transferzeiten. - Leicht erreichbar, freundliche Mitarbeiter, sehr ruhiges sauberes Zimmer und saubere Sanitärräume. Ich konnte nichts bemängeln.

- 9f62dafa10457089ed764ad6f8d2d318 (8/5): - Convenience of location. Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast pretty standard but good enough. I was happy that I had booked the room, seemed expensive but definitely worth it. Reception staff could have been friendlier.
- d029ca76adcf7005b726b8c163237a65 (9/5): 12 hour hotel room booking - The room and amenities are fantastic. Great for 12 layovers to get much needed sleep. The restaurant buffet is good too. I was disappointed that the restaurant closes to hotel booking between 4pm - 9pm, which meant that although I was given 2 free meal vouchers, I was only able to use one... Depending on the timing of your hotel booking, it could mean getting a meal is challenging. I had to wake up from my sleep in order to get one meal on my visit. They offer room service, but the meal selection is very little and unappealing to me in my time of waking.
Overall it is an expensive experience. But worth it if you can afford the inflated pricing.
- 338dc1155ba1737f0251f114d9985166 (8/5): Perfect for short layover in the airport when in transit - Location, clean Beds moved, expensive for 6 hours, breakfast not great
