Guest Reviews
- Monir (5/5): The bed sheets need to changed as they are old - It was near lots of restaurants The bedding was dated
- Jarmila (2/5): Book elsewhere for this money - On a metro line directly to the city centre and Paddignton station. Spacious bedrooms.
The host replied quickly when we could not find the correct flat in the building. Everything else. First, the place felt sketchy as hell when we arrived. I often sleep outdoors in the woods and travelled many places, so I am used to different environments, but I did not feel safe here at first. The front door had broken upper lock, so we had to lock with the bottom lock and a half working chain, but the door would still move a little - so, sketchy. The walls were thin and windows did not insulate sound, so we could hear sounds from the building and the neighborhood - not pleasant when trying to fall asleep with this makeshift frontdoor lock.
The cleanliness was a big problem. Not mentioning that bathroom, toilet, and kitchen need a renovation. Although I do not mind old furnishings, I mind when it is dirty. All rooms were only superficially cleaned, bathtub drain was clogged and smelly. Sink tap was dirty. Kitchen had old sticky dust and there was a strong smell of clogged drains in the whole apartment. Underneath our beds, there were dust piles and trash like papers, biscuit wraps, tissues...One mattress was so stained that it looked like it was taken from the trash (there were actually mattresses disposed right in front of the building, so we made fun of it). Neither of the bedrooms had working door handles, we could not close the doors. And what nailed it for me was when I saw the picture in which the hosts asked for a good review and then messaged to not give them lower score for silly reasons. They also messaged me to give them 10. I give extremely low rating, because we booked this place for its relatively good 7.5 rating and ok reviews (I read like last 10 reviews). I feel like the last few posts are scams and do not represent the reality. I definitely think this was not a good value for money. Go read older reviews, they better match the truth.
- Diez (10/5): Exceptional - It's pretty close to everything in the city. The house is enough for a group and very easily accommodate.
- Mohammad (10/5): Exceptional - Clean Toilet has no sink.
- Hussein (7/5): Location is perfect . Some work needed - The staffing is good and respectful
The location is the best in this flat as it is in close proximity to the Centre of London where 20 mins trip by subway is enough to put you where London Eye and BIGBEN located . Both bathroom and kitchen need deep cleaning with some renovation
Some more attention needs to be paid for hygiene. If this is sorted, I will make a very good place for booking for future guests
- Dervla (7/5): No Frills but great location and very reasonably priced. - This is a very reasonably priced flat in an excellent location. It was clean and comfortable for our family trip, there was fast wifi & plenty of towels. This is a simple and basic flat for an affordable price in London, while the kitchen is a little dated and one bedroom door handle is in need of repair, it served us well.
- Caetano (8/5): Very good - We booked this place to go with friends and even thought it wasn’t really clean i would say it was really worth it specially because of the price we paid.
The beds were comfortable and the shower was good, the kitchen could have some upgrades especially regarding the oven but it was good.
- Richard (5/5): The owner did not answer my last messages, the kitchen was dirty, the heater did not work, I do not recommend being ther - It was good, just the location. Dirty kitchen, the heating didn't work, it only worked in one room.
- Thomaskutty (9/5): Overall good facility. Spacious bed rooms and felt like a home environment. Good enough to stay with family. - I like the location,it is easily accessible, spacious rooms. Visibly clean, provided with enough towels, toilet tissues, additional movable heaters, ample of plug points, chairs. Felt like a home environment. I didn’t like the bath room(the shower) & the washing machine (very noisy).
- Danielle (8/5): Very good -
- Charne (4/5): The photos on the website look a lot better than the flat actually does. - The heating didn’t work. There were no blankets provided. The bathroom needs a serious upgrade. The kitchen cupboard was held up with duct tape and empty bottles were left in the cupboard. Curtains in bedroom are too short, anyone walking past can see into the bedroom. There was no hot water on the day we left. Bathroom’s door handle doesn’t work.
- Ihtisham (10/5): Exceptional - I like the staff very friendly and helpful
- Rahman (9/5): Superb - Clean The TV was broken but wasn’t communicated
- Mohammad (4/5): Bad experience - Nothing Area was so dirty, kitchen appliance was so dirty
