- Chris (9/5): A really pleasant home that was a pleasure to stay in and made our visit to Ballarat enjoyable - Walking into this sweet home, you are greeted with a homey comfortable atmosphere that has been tastefully decorated.
I love that there is plenty of space on the spacious lounge for everyone to sit, just like there is around the dining table. The home was toasty warm on the cool Ballarat nights.
I appreciated the attempt to make things welcoming in the kitchen with the tea and coffee, milk and chocolates! They were appreciated! I felt the mattresses were all too soft and slept better on the children’s beds. The pillows were likewise too low and even when placed on top of each other not very comfortable. (Our next Air BnB home used IKEA pillows which were higher, soft and so comfortable!) The kids slept well but myself and my Mother found the beds/pillows not very comfortable.
I felt it was a bit overpriced for Ballarat, I paid a similar price for a place in Melb that was larger and better equipped.

- Kerrie (10/5): Great Modern house - Lovely modern house, exactly like the photos. Perfect place to stay with young ones. The children's bedrooms were beautifully decorated. Had everything you needed including a doll house. Wasn't anything not to like
- Bansari (10/5): -
- Bruce (10/5): - Beautiful place had almost everything you need Bed sheets weren't fresh on both queen beds which was very upsetting. The large mat in lounge area is very dangerous. No face washers. House itself is beautiful but cleaner needs to do better
- Bernard (9/5): Good place to stay. - Close to the city and vwry comfortable Would have liked some tissue boxes and serviettes or paper towels in the kitchen. Had to go out and purchase our own.
- Nigel (10/5): -
- Xiaohong (9/5): -
- Moore (10/5): - The house was so comfortable. We were left a welcoming box of chocolates on our arrival. The code didn't work in open the key box in the morning of our departure.
- Szu-Liang (9/5): Nice and cosy accommodation for a family stay - Well appointed new house with all modern facilities. Comfortable A/C for a good night sleep during cold winter. N/A
- Jodie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Neriman (5/5): Passable - The place was nice and cosy, which made it a comfortable spot to relax after long days out. It’s in a great location, close to everything, especially convenient for the Ballarat basketball tournament. Being able to pop back quickly in between games was a real bonus.
The layout of the space worked well for our needs, and despite a few issues, we still appreciated having a warm and quiet place to come back to. It has the potential to be a great stay with some improvements, but overall, we enjoyed being close to the action while still having a private space to unwind. We were very disappointed with our stay, especially considering the nearly $900 per night price tag. On arrival, we found stained towels and an unclean stove. The Morning Fresh dishwashing liquid had been watered down, and there was an open bottle of milk left for consumption, something we didn’t feel safe drinking.
The outdoor area was poorly maintained: it wasn’t undercover, it was dirty, and the furniture cover was scattered across the floor. Parking was limited and insufficient for our needs.
We were charged extra just to check in one hour early, despite check-in not being until 3pm. We also requested a late check-out at 11am, only to be messaged at 10:38am that cleaners would be arriving at 11, which felt rushed and inconsiderate.
Adding to the discomfort, the doorbell had a sensor camera which made us feel constantly watched.
We stay in Ballarat every year and have had much better experiences elsewhere for significantly better value. Unfortunately, this property didn’t live up to expectations.
- Alana (7/5): Town house. - I liked the cleanliness and the layout of the facility..
The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms well appointed. The heat coming in the glass doors on to the loungeroom and the totally inadequate air conditioner.. The air conditioner may have been faulty or the incorrect size but certainly did not cool the unit.
The garden was unkempt, back and front. Also there was no dish cloth or tea towel.
- Raj (10/5): Exceptional -
- Teresa (9/5): Comfortable, nice bedrooms and delightful bedding. Nice to see you are looking after young children. - Great location, close to Botanic Gardens, Lake Wendouree, Shopping complex and roads into City.
- Janelle (8/5): Overall an enjoyable experience - Inside was great. Clean & well appointed The outside let the property down. Gardens over grown & weedy. Put us off sitting outside
- John (7/5): Good stay. Met our needs for a central access point in good location - Good location - close to lake, small and cosy home. Loved the hamper No back yard/outdoor area. Squeaky doors

- Jodie (10/5): Have stayed at this property before with friends and would stay here again. Hosts are very welcoming and easy to contact - Great location, lovely modern home with excellent amenities and property is very clean. N/A
- David (10/5): A great Ballarat / Victoria holiday overall, with the accommodation being perfect for our needs. - We stayed 9 nights, and the location was easily accessible to Ballarat services as well as major tourist attractions. The house was clean, new, and important for us (from QLD) had great central heating throughout. There was a welcome basket of goodies waiting on arrival. There was one minor issue regarding the garage door (our fault) where we emailed the owners, and they responded promptly and helpfully. Nothing really.
- Warren (9/5): great place to stay - Clean and Tidy. Good heating and cooling, comfy beds No Netflix or subscription TV,
- Deanna (9/5): Superb - Great location, well equipped kitchen and great cooling for the warm weekend we were there. The backyard was smaller than expected.
- Kristy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Megan (9/5): Superb -
- Shuangyu (9/5): Superb -
- Saurabh (9/5): A very comfortable, cosy getaway for a family with young kids. - The House was very well put together + all the right necessities. Couldn't fault it..!! Cannot point out anything.
- Alison (9/5): Comfortable, Good Location, Close to Shopping - Location is very good, close to most places Nothing
- Lee51 (8/5): Comfortable and easy, great location. - Overgrown garden, no clothes Pegs.
- George (9/5): Superb - It was big and clean, i would stay again but a bit out of the way. The location did not come up correctly on Google Maps or Waze. Luckily i knew it was somewhere behind Gregory St W. Also after making the booking it came up that i had to leave a $400 cash deposit with the host but it wasn't collected so best if that is removed from the confirmation as it is a bit off putting.
- Chui (10/5): Best holiday home I ever booked. The house is newly built so expect clean, new furniture and appliances. We were even we -
- Sonya (9/5): Superb - Very comfortable and felt like home. Beautiful beds and comfortable couch. Very clean.
- Brian (7/5): We had guests over from NZ and they enjoyed themselves and that was the main objective in going. - The house was just fine and the location good also however, I have left my sunglasses there and would very much like to get them back. If you could give me a quick ring on 0412 208 333 0R email me at brian.bruce@BBCconstructions.com it would be greatly appreciated.
Brian Bruce Not much it was as expected and we had no complaints
- Erin (5/5): It was nice enough but the outdoor area was disappointing. - Clean and modern. Outdoor area overgrown and unkept. No outdoor seating. Location not very central.
- Michael (9/5): Lovely place to stay in Ballarat - Lovely accommodation. Quiet location about 3 KMs from Ballarat CBD
Good sized bedrooms. Very comfortable.
Main BR with ensuite. Good size ensuite with shower. Other rooms with double bed in one and two single beds in the other. Bathroom with bath.
The house is new with new appliances. Solid wifi. Large dining, lounge area with large screen TV.
Well appointed kitchen with everything you'd need. Cooktops, Microwave oven, fridge etc all there.
Proximity to Lake Wendouree is good which allows forlovely morning walk and coffee. Being a new property with new appliances I would have appreciated some instructions re Air Con (ducted), coffee with machine and dishwasher (we have these at home but they are all a bit different).
Council garbage bin had been left overflowing from previous stay, which was not a nice welcome near front door after very long day driving to Ballarat. That said the owner had it cleared up quickly the next day. Thank you.
Just a few items but overall a nice place to stay.close to Ballarat CBD

- George (9/5): Lovely Little Getaway!!! - Lovely comfortable stay for all the family, with everything you need. Very clean and open. Warm and inviting space. We stayed the weekend as a family, for our little nephews for birthday. We also visited Sovereign Hill. Everything was close by and convenient.
- Su (10/5): Excellent place & host - The place was very comfortable and had everything we needed in a home away from home, for my family of 2 adults + 3 young kids. The host was also very kind to provide some complimentary snacks and was very accommodating in providing a high-chair when requested. The central heating made our stay in winter very comfortable. We would definitely stay again. Its a bit further from key attractions, but nothing major if you have a car.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (10/5): Perfect house for a family with everything you need. Cosy and Warm in a Ballarat Winter - Thank you to the hosts. This property was exactly what we needed for our stay in Ballarat with my 3 kids and parents. It has everything thing we needed. The house is styled beautifully and comfortable.
