- Pedro Pablo (1/5): Beware: it is an exterior laundry room! - The flat is very central. The toilet and bathroom were very clean and tidy. The flat is on the 6th floor, without a lift. The host changed the room last minute, allegedly like for like, but it turned out to be a laundry room outside of the flat across the communal hall (so, to use the toilet or bathroom, you have to go downstairs and use the main entrance with a key to enter his flat and make use of the facilities), a real pain every time you need to wash your hands, use the toilet or take a shower. The host did not offer to use any of other other facilities, such as the kitchen or living room. The room itself is very basic, with electric wires exposed and the tap and drain pipes for a washing machine exposed. No bedside light nor a plug, only one by the entrance with an extension cable over the floor, barely reaching a small desk. The linen looked clean, but there was a long hair and an eyelash on the bed. The host lives in the flat and is just renting an outside of his flat kind of room at exorbitant prices (and not offering an entire flat as is advertised). If you would end up with a room inside the flat, you will be sharing it with the owner and his wife (who incidently is very friendly and accommodating), but you are being taken for a complete idiot and a ride when you end up in the laundry room in the communal staircase. Also, the parking is not the stated 11 euro a night by the host, but 32 euro (unless you park after midnight and then it will be 16 euro for the day.

- Sarah (7/5): - Gepflegt und sauber . Mir fehlte der Nachtisch und eine kleine Lampe dazu .
- Gerry (2/5): WAY WAY OVERPRICED AT 145 Euro! - The Room is within an apartment inhabited by the host. It is very centrally located close to the Market Square, shops, cafes and the train station. Let me be clear - THIS IS A ROOM TO SLEEP IN ONLY. The address of the property is not the address of the apartment which caused a great deal of confusion. Furthermore the name of the accommodation has no relation to FC Dortmund other than a name card on the apartment door. None of the locals I asked had heard of the accommodation. When I eventually got hold of the host by telephone he got back to me via WhatsApp to let me know to pick up the keys from a nearby patisserie (they didn't know where the property was either - the actual address was on the keyring which I found by chance). Upon finally finding the property I had to contact the host for further instruction on how to gain access to the apartment. The communication prior to the stay was non existent despite me contacting the host via booking.com a few days before my arrival.
The property itself is a double bedroom with a chair and small table - no TV. The bathroom is shared with the host which wasn't mentioned at the time of booking, as is the kitchen. There is a wardrobe but no coat-hangers to hang clothes. The host did supply a set of towels but NOT additional pillows which are needed.
There were NO instructions within the apartment (no welcome note, no Wifi password details, where to leave keys etc). Do yourself a favour and for £10 more get a hotel room.
- Craig (10/5): - In Dortmund for 1 night for a a friendly football match. Excellent communication from the host throughout, right in the centre, parking is easy. Just a few staircases to the top. If I'm in Dortmund again, will definitely stay again.
