Guest Reviews
- Anna (6/5): Decent stay - The location was good and was an easy walk to the main attractions. The instructions were clear and the welcome beers were nice. It did feel like you were staying at your uncles home or something of the sorts. The bathroom was not en-suite but I guess that was in the description. It was fine for a few days.

- Jo (10/5): Lovely place to stay in Bruges - Le Nid du Prince is a beautiful home in a great location near the heart of Bruges. We loved our room, it was large and immaculate with a large comfy double bed. The ensuite was off the bedroom (other room was off the corridor). Plenty of hot water. Nespresso coffee maker. Insect mesh on windows so we could have the windows open. Francis the host was very helpful and welcoming. Everything was great.
- PASCHALINA (9/5): - Very value for money. Cozy and very clean . Francis was very kind and helpful with everything we needed !
- Jana (8/5): -
- Ursula (9/5): -

- Marina (9/5): -
- Ana27 (10/5): Nice accommodation and well located. - Very comfortable, the bed is nice, the bathroom is very spacious and everything was clean. They allow dogs, it is well located and close the centre. Overall it was quite. Parking is far. Not related to the accommodation, be aware they are fixing the streets in the area, plus that, if it is rainny, you get muddy shoes.
- Barbara (9/5): The city is charming and this accommodation is perfect for sightseeing. - The location is perfect, the place very clean and cosy. The host very nice and helpful. A bit too little space to sit and talk, or open the computer. A chair would be appreciated.
- Esther (8/5): Nice little weekend break at private stay. - There was a big shower and small fridge with 2 craft beers in it. It was clean. Very good beds too! The location was super good as well. It was quite noisy because of the old building and the toilet/bathroom was outside of the room on the shared hallway.
- Yves (8/5): In Bruges - De ligging, zeer rustige straat. Het douchewater was niet altijd warm.
- Nina (10/5): -
- Irene (8/5): -
- Chris (7/5): Lovely town and well situated to visit interesting sites. Plenty to see and do. - Location. Bathroom Many stairs and narrow winding staircase. Should warn guests as we’re in our 70s and there wasn’t any assistance offered.
- David (10/5): Francis was a great host and assisted with Parking and any other questions we had during the stay. The 2 bottles of in t - Great location and dog friendly
- Adel (3/5): Ville superbe, local pa terrible -
- Martina (9/5): -
- Briar (8/5): Comfortable and conveniently located - Francis our host was very friendly and gave us helpful information. We felt very welcome.
The rooms were nice and comfortable. And it was warm during the cold winter weather.
The property was in a great location. Very close to the centre of the city, and on a quiet street.
- Eva-Maria (6/5): Close to centre and restaurant and bars - Host was friendly and gave some good recommendations, parking close by available with reservation, walkable distance from the centre, historic building and our dog was free of charge. Big clean bathroom. Very noisy house and little privacy with other guests, you can hear conversations and people coming up the stairs. I was unaware that our bathroom was outside our room (right next to it) and private for us but did not feel entirely comfortable taking a shower when other guests passed by. Not ideal if you stay several days and need to wash your cups and glasses in the bathroom. By coincidence my bottle rolled under the bed and we found lots of dust, coins and an old drink from a previous guest... That was very unpleasant. Otherwise the room was clean. We were not aware that we need to leave the car parking in the morning as well. We were pretty sure it was possible to leave the car for a couple of hours as the next guest check in was supposed to happen in the afternoon. I guess that was just miscommunication.

- Maria Agustina (10/5): VOLVERÍAMOS UNA Y MIL VECES. Gracias!!
- Nicola (9/5): - Our host was very helpful. It is a great location Nothing
- Anna Kosivtsova (9/5): - Bright room with good view, great location and friendly host. Welcome drink and tasty breakfast
- Martina (9/5): -
- Tom (9/5): -
- Mikael (9/5): -
- Karssen (8/5): Super verblijf - Locatie is echt super Tis wel erg gehoorig
- George (10/5): -
- Frank (10/5): Nice and cozy apartment - Cozy and authentic accomodation inside Brugge. Francis is very welcoming I definitely recommend to have a breakfast here. Thank you very much for the weekend!
- Claire (7/5): Central location - Very central location and good communication with Francis Lacking a table or chairs to sit on the desk, not very good sound isolation
- Caroline (10/5): Lovely! - The host was very welcoming and gave good advice on where to eat and where to visit! The accommodation was lovely and comfortable and made the overall experience in Bruges even better!
- Makoto (7/5): -
- Fisher (10/5): - This property was fantastic. Quiet, comfortable, spacious, and very clean. The host Francis even picked us up from the train station on short notice and was very kind to us, sharing some interesting things about the city on our drive to the house. The location was perfect, close to a few cafes and probably less than 5 minutes walk into the town centre. Good value for money, would highly recommend. :)
- Paul (9/5): Wonderful bnb, close to everything you need to explore Brugge - Superb location to explore Brugge. Wonderful and helpful hosts who let us leave our bags early and late. Quite and comfortable room, easy check in. Very close to three laundromats. Highly recommend. Thank you! Can't think of anything....
- Claire (8/5): Very good - Great location
- Elena (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (9/5): A lovely stay in a traditional Bruges-style house. - Very central location, free beer in fridge, good communication from host, very clean room, comfortable bed, good facilities. The bathroom. Marked as private, but recent work shows the door was moved from the bedroom to the landing, so the door to the bathroom is on the public landing. The bathroom itself was lovely, but would be better if accessed from the room itself.
- Dave (9/5): Superb - location superb, option of parking near by, dog friendly. Owner very friendly. the steps up to the room are quite steep so do need to be aware but fine for us, just had to carry the dogs up.
- Richard (9/5): Superb - Great location for access to all locations in Bruges centre. Could walk to everything. As we had our dog with us, we could even walk to the vets for her worming before returning to the UK. Parked the car up in the private area of a multistorey arranged through the hotel and didn't need it at all. Also cheaper than finding your own parking. A bit of a trek to the carpark but you can drop off first when you check in. Our bathroom entrance was off the landing outside our room, not off our room, but that is probably due to limited space in the attic of an old large townhouse. It still served its purpose though.
- Richard (10/5): Ideal place for a short stay close to centre. - Nice room in a quiet street yet close to city centre. Helpfull host. Complementary Belgian beer a bonus.
- Georgina (9/5): Superb -
- Phil (10/5): Very charming, enjoyed my stay, nice location! - Charming location, walkable to city center. Cute room with large beautiful bathroom. I had the room where the bathroom had a separate entrance from the hallway. Liked it. You may need a code to enter the building the first time if the owner is not available, pay attention to your email messages before arriving.
- Gavin (9/5): Superb -
- Ljiljana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paula (10/5): Really great stay in Bruges - It’s an old house, but the rooms are beautiful, clean, and cozy.
- James (8/5): Very good - Quiet and peaceful. Close to main square . Checked in easily late in the night. 2 quality ales in fridge in room was much appreciated.
- Olga (9/5): Superb - Our stay at this hotel was very pleasant, the hotel is very well-situated. Inside, everything was clean, the hotel had such a home-like feeling, the bathroom and the breakfast hall were nice and the owner was friendly - we even got 2 beers for free :) It’s not the cheapest option if you’re traveling on a low budget, the breakfast wasn’t the cheapest either. And the staircase is a bit narrow and steep, which makes it hard to get the luggage upstairs.
- Samantha (8/5): Centre of Bruges - Winter break - Really good location in the centre of Bruges. The room was lovely. The bed was very comfortable. Every comfort had been thought about and provided:- tea and coffee making facilities, a welcome beer and a mini fridge. Being able to have a bath was a treat. Great communication with the owner before and during the visit. Owner allowed us to use a parking space a little walk from the property at reasonable cost. Nothing to report here. Although if stairs are an issue for you, accessing the room may be tricky. It's in the roof space. We didn't have breakfast - so I can't comment but other reviewers were impressed.
- Hannah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (7/5): Overall we had a great stay in Brugge it’s a lovely city. - Location was excellent being a five minute walk form Bruges centre. The room was quite small and the bathroom was not en suite, also even though it’s advertised with free parking the host tried to charge us for parking. However the host was very helpful and informative with excellent communication.
- Alexandros (10/5): Exceptional - Nice, comfortable, warm and clean room.
easy check in process.
very close to the city centre.
highly recommended.
- Patrick (10/5): It was perfect. - Breakfast was fantastic and the location is very central. The room was great with some complimentary bottles of Chimay. Francis our host was superb. We got engaged during the stay and he even gave us a bottle of champagne! Highly recommended.
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional - It was only a 5 minute walk to the main square. The rooms were good sizes. The street view room has a separate bathroom outside the bedroom on the landing.
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barry (7/5): Nice place, great host, perfect location -
- Charlotte (9/5): Superb - Great location, lovely accommodation Nothing
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional - Apartment is situated on a very picturesque street only a couple of minutes from the main square. Comfortable room and bed with water and beer provided. Spacious clean bathroom. Host was accommodating and was there for any questions.
- Lynn (6/5): It was a pleasant stay. - Early check-in was much appreciated.
Bathroom was modern and well lit.
Nice coffee maker, with milk supplied.
Complimentary beer was a very nice touch. Poor bedside lighting.
Poor lighting beside the chairs.
Sitting up in bed prevented by low ceiling.
- Ali (10/5): Perfect for your Brugge getaway - Everything! Cute room, great location, clear communications, and a little welcome beer! Loved it all, nothing to complain about.
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely central location. Room quite small but more than made up for by the large bathroom! Owner super helpful and considerate.
- Geoff (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (10/5): Comfortable room in a great location at a reasonable price - We stayed in the room facing the street for 3 nights. The location is very central, just a short walk from the main square and the Belfort. The room was exactly as described, cosy but plenty of room for 2 people and luggage. The bathroom is just outside the door to room, but it's exclusive to the room and very nice. These things didn't bother us, but the bathroom is accessed separately to the room, literally right outside the door so just a minor inconvenience. The room is also located at the top of the house, up some steep stairs, which again wasn't an issue for us but just something to be aware of.
- Paul (8/5): Brugge stay - Good central location.
It was easy to return to the property to drop things off/relax without relying on the friendly and accommodating host to help access.
Francis allowed us to drop luggage earlier than check in time.
- Soppslev (1/5): Bed bugs. Only got a 30% refund. So I basically paid 86€/day for accommodation with bed bugs. - Bed bugs. Only got a 30% refund. So I basically paid 86€/day for accommodation with bed bugs.
- Alin (9/5): Am fost multumiti pe ansamblu. - Confortable bad, very clean , nice old house, 5 min close to center. The blocked coffee maker was replaced on the spot + an extra coffee! the wardrobe requires fixing the plywood with nails so that it does not swing. The bathroom is private, assigned to the room, but it is in the hallway, NOT in the room, not far from the room door, at a distance of 1 meter.
- Jan (9/5): Superb -
- Karel (9/5): Superb - Lovely building, nice location close to the centre, quite place, big bathroom.
Huge recomondation! the carpet needs to be replaced, it spoils the overall impression
- Vladimir (6/5): Pleasant - Located some minutes walk from the city center, it is a perfect choice to walk around until midnight. Although consider that you will need to walk 30 mins from train station and Brugge is not so friendly to walk with huge luggage. The owner sent me another address and passcodes (another room is located in the next street in the backdoor entrance of the house) and take it around 45 minutes to solve the problem because he was not at house. Communication was not the best this time.
- Marco (9/5): Superb - Near center No parking
- Carolyn (10/5): Great value accommodation in Bruges historic centre - The B&B is about 5/10 minutes walk from the historic centre of Bruges. It is in an attractive old house in a quiet street.
Francis the host is welcoming and helpful - he suggested some interesting places I might not have thought to visit.
The choice of things to eat at breakfast was very good - cheese, fruits, yogurt, bread. Tea or coffee.
The room was a good size and had a fridge, tea and coffee and a TV. It was clean and comfortable. The separate bathroom was very good; modern with a shower, washbasin and WC. There are quite steep stairs up to the room.
The bedroom carpet was a little faded
Black out curtains on the window would have been good.
- Peiman (10/5): Exceptional - The location is amazing and the host is wonderful! i definitely recommend this place!
- Morten (9/5): Nice room on a quiet charming cobblestone street - Located on a quiet charming cobblestone street near all the major sights, very big and nice bathroom, complimentary beers, fridge in the room. It was very nice and relaxing to walk along the canals next to the B&B in the evening away from the crowds. It wasn’t a problem for us but some people may not like that the bathroom is not attached to the room. But the door to the bathroom is right next to the room’s door in a small hallway. Only seemed to be the case for one of the rooms though.
