• Usha (5/5): Only good thing is location and property is old and needs a good clean. - Location was excellent for nye celebration . Communication with cleaners was good as they tried really hard to clean with the poorly maintained house. There were large cockroaches everywhere on the deck. Place needs a good clean and renovate in order to host a large group as only one bathroom for 6 people was a challenge especially when the shower leaked all around the poorly designed bath tub. The house smelt really bad with dampness and the fridge stunk so we did not use kitchen or fridge. Not enough towels for all guests. We checked out a day earlier and booked elsewhere for better facilities and less noise from the trains and the play area outside right next to front door which was used by the public for drinking and party on nye
• Casey (1/5): Pay the extra dollars elsewhere - you won’t regret it… - It only has one thing going for it - location There is a reason this place is non refundable - DO NOT BOOK… trust me the extra dollars elsewhere will be worth it!!! This place is nothing like it’s sold - on arrival the porch is filthy, thrown in for free an old vomit stain. Open the door and breathe in that nice mould scent your about to spend your days living in - it’s built into the rocks so it’s damp, I get that but there are ways to help this but the owner clearly doesn’t care, embrace the mould is apparently the way to go. 2 bathrooms NO - it is a one bathroom with an extra toilet, which is adjoined to the one bathroom anyway - useless and the water on the floor is awful. The couch is old and dirty, the cushions - gross. Bring thongs - you won’t take them off. Don’t plan to use the kitchen - it is definitely safer to eat out. Don’t stay in summer - every aircon and fan is so dirty you’d be bound to catch something. Zero phone reception also, it provides WIFI but if you cant connect a work computer to a public service then you ain’t working from ‘home’. The owner clearly doesn’t care - there is so much potential here it’s not hard. Starting with a good clean.
• Liam (8/5): The location makes up for a few short comings - Brilliant location. Close to everything in central Sydney yet surprisingly quiet location. We found it nice and clean Reviews mention the bathroom a lot which was not ideal but we found that if you “dam” up where the water flows with a hand towel then squeeze out water when finished the floor stayed dry. It does have a very small dark lounge which is not ideal if a larger group. The other thing mentioned was the lack of adequate cups, glasses pots and pans etc. This was pretty frustrating, particularly because for $100-200 (a fraction of a one night charge) this complaint could completely go away!
• Joanne (5/5): Excellent location, Property requires some maintenance and a good clean. a bit disappointed. - The property was in an excellent location. The bed in the main room upstairs would have to be one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in. The property was sell stocked with necessities. We had a nice time despite the slight issues with the accommodation. The property needs a really good clean. Theres a space out the back that could be made into something nice, however there's just weeds and mouldy rocks out there. There was a musty smell in the downstairs area, possibly due to the overflow of water from the shower upstairs. I emailed, sent an SMS and called the owner the day before about early check in, she didn't get back to me until after check in time the following day. Communication was poor.
• Paul (7/5): Great location in a comfortable house. - The host very accomodating when we couldn't find the ironing board, and they delivered one to the property. It has a badly designed shower where the water runs around the edge of the bath and onto the main floor. Also it was very grotty around the bath and certain other areas.

Musty smell in bedrooms; seating in lounge area insufficient for bedroom capacity; not much provided for cooking; although washing machine worked on the wash cycle, neither the spin or dry cycle worked; only one bathroom - plus a half-bathroom (ie toilet with handbasin); shower overflowed onto bathroom floor.

• Ash (2/5): Dirty and run down, location was only saving grace - Location was good. Close to the harbour, public transport and restaurants. The whole place was dirty, damp and not maintained. Ceilings were leaking, furniture not fit for purpose, and trash was left under the beds. Bathroom and toilet were particularly bad and water flooded the floor when used. Even the basic cheap shower curtain was not replaced, and was dirty and full of holes! Property was meant to cater for 10 people, but there was not even cutlery. We did not even receive the code to enter on arrival and had to seek help from booking.com. 3 hours after leaving the property the host called to tell us we had left a bag, but it turns out it belonged to the next guests. The Property was therefore entered less than 2 hours after our check out time and could not have been cleaned in between!!

• Maria (6/5): Good.Location aside great. Quiet.no noise buses or cars except one morning two people talking aloud - Our bed was comfortable and warm. Location wise is close to the Sydney Bridge, Opera House, Warfs and Public Transport like buses, Trains and Ferries The shower room. It always wet (water)on the floor after we shower
