Guest Reviews
- Lauren (8/5): Great location, lovely house, needs a few minor changes. - Fantastic Location and easy access to the beach and Tavern. Lovely view!
A great amount of storage and the layout was fantastic. Easy to use kitchen area with the plethora of utensils and cutlery etc. The front door lock was very difficult to use, the key kept getting stuck every time we left and came back. This would be a priority to fix. We also arrived to a lot of dog hair left on the couch - great that the place is pet friendly but not ideal for those who don't travel with pets and might potentially be allergic.
The rooms downstairs were absolutely freezing and there were no extra blankets or heaters provided, we needed to request these which then to be collected from the Lakes Entrance head office. These rooms also had a lot of mould on the windows/ venetian blinds. A little wear and tear is fine, but mould in the bedrooms and upstairs bedroom isn't ideal.
There was no iron or ironing board available, the one we picked up when requesting extra blankets was an Anko/ Kmart appliance and pretty well useless.

- Anne (8/5): Lovely place great views close - Location was excellent perfect views
Beds were comfortable Booked for 7 people There wasn’t enough champagne glasses for everyone to have a drink on new year’s night
Lovely balcony with great views but no bbq I thought was very poor
Wine glasses were all different sizes and didn’t match it’s not hard or expensive to get glasses that match
- Jane (8/5): 8/10 - Location, layout, ensuites + bathroom Driveway, hedge needs trimming back, car scrapes on driveway.
Very cold downstairs
- Mick (6/5): Pleasant - Great location Had to find out from a neighbour that power was to be out fora day but manager responded OK but we needed to pursue the matter. The roller door kept getting stuck, no blankets for the bed and the property was cold at this time of year. No hair-dryer, no heating downstairs.
- Maria (9/5): We really enjoyed our stay. Perfect location, right next to the local tavern, general store. Amazing views and very peac - Excellent location. Very spacious house with everything you need.
- Gareth (10/5): A Perfect Coastal Getaway - We had a fantastic stay at Mazza by the Sea. The property boasts absolutely stunning ocean views that you can enjoy from the comfort of a spacious and well-appointed home. Everything was spotlessly clean, modern, and incredibly comfortable—ideal for a relaxing beach escape.
One of the best parts is the location. It’s just a 2-minute walk to the Lake Tyers Beach Tavern, a great local pub, and The General, a fantastic cafe that served up some of the best coffee and brunch we’ve had in a while.
Check-in was seamless, and the hosts clearly know how to deliver a wonderful guest experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful coastal setting!
- Darren (9/5): Very happy will book again - The place was very clean and position of the house was perfect.
- Andrea (8/5): Very good - Great location, pet friendly and very comfortable with separated sleeping areas for privacy when travelling as a group and roomy communal areas.
Deck with great views Neighbours/front town house coming out every night at 8pm on a Friday and Saturday telling us to be quiet and that they have to put up with people and noise every weekend from renters. We're a group in our 50s, so we weren't loud and the pub right next door made more noise!
- Samantha (8/5): Great stay - Location was excellent & the number of spaces for everyone
- Steven (10/5): Great ocean views in a lovely modern house. - The location is amazing, with spectacular views, access to beaches and a short walk to the local pub. Great facilities, all that are required for a relaxing break away. Nothing to mention.
- Roopa (8/5): We loved staying there - perfect location for our trip ! - Great location, clean and very comfortable with great view Probably should add basic things like sugar, salt -pepper, coffee sachets in the kitchen
Iron , shower gel like basic things could have been easily added
Garage door needs fixing
Power tripped at 9pm on our first night and after hour service no was of no help and told us to call in the morning (we were travelling with little kids and it was 37* hot )
Luckily we were able to locate the power board at neighbouring house and were able to fix the fuse ourselves
Kindly add reliable after hour service no to at least know the location of power board
This is just a feedback to make it a perfect House for all future residents
- Belinda (6/5): If we had stayed longer we would’ve contacted host, also minimal kitchen utensils if you wished to prepare meals would m - Location was great, views were fabulous, plenty of room for multi generational family. Comfortable beds. Also Neighbor was very friendly and alerted us to a whale breaching in the ocean. The sewer smell that come from the toilet next to the kitchen, on our arrival the whole upstairs area smelt awful. We kept the door closed and no one used this toilet during our stay however the smell remained.
- Upendra (6/5): It was a nice property but heating to all rooms needs to be fixed - Ground floor rooms did not have heating
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Yogesh (9/5): Superb -
- Ang (9/5): Relaxing & great home for 8 people to stay comfortably. - Lovely home & excellent location with a brilliant view of the lake & walking distance to the Tav & The General. Only issue was that there were a lot of cobwebs in the house. There was also a horrible smell coming from the little nook just next to the kitchen. Had to purchase candles as the odour was unbearable once the weather warmed up.
- Jarrod (6/5): Beautiful location that could be made better with a BBQ for guests on the balcony to enjoy the view. - Nicely laid out house with large lounge/kitchen area. Beautiful view of the 90 Mile beach from the balcony. Fast & easy access to the local PUB & beach. No BBQ. Bad smell from upstairs toilet when first arriving (which was cleared after opening a few windows & flushing the old water away). Electric stove was annoyingly slow to cook on.
- Santhani (9/5): Overall we had a great time and enjoyed ourselves. Thank you. - The location was excellent, rooms were great and everything was clean and spacious will definitely visit again. We went on great walks and enjoyed ourselves. Thank you for a wonderful holiday. We could have had a few more larger saucepans for cooking and the ice in the freezer was building up very badly. Tried to look for a control to adjust it but couldn't find any.
- Yin (7/5): Wonderful - Magnificent view , the balcony located towards sea The very important issue must be addressed , the edge of drive way is very high , so if the car is not a SUV or off road , it is very hard to reverse towards the garage , because the bottom of the car will be scratched when you back towards the garage . So the best solution is the gap should be raised up
- Pauline (4/5): Room for improvement - I enjoyed the many rooms that accommodates my family and my dogs to some extent. My stay could have been improved with
1. A heater in the lower level as the temperature was reading 8-12degrees
2. Enough hot water for all persons who stayed. Hot water ran out after 3adults and two sholdren showered
3. Reliable wifi that I don’t have to ask access for by callin up
4. Private parking/garage that could be accessed without damaging vehicles
5. Windows that could be opened to air out the mouldy smell in the lower level and mustiness in the upper level
6. Pegs that did not snap when trying to use once
7. Quicker response time to messages on bookings.com
8. Being able to call and clarify if accomodation is friendly prior to providing payment
9. Not having to pre-check in online when payment has already taken
10. Actually making the effort to call rather than emailing
- Tony (9/5): Amazing weekend in a beautiful house in a beautiful place - Great house and great location. Close to the beach and also the pub has amazing meals. Couple of small things to attend.
Dishwasher for has no springs and is a hazard.
Leaking tap in the en-suite
Needs some heating downstairs
- Zuleika (9/5): Superb -
