- Lois (10/5): Staying at the Seaway Manor was a delight! Book it! - We had a gourmet breakfast every morning. Delicious, different every morning and nice presentation on the plate too. The linen tablecloths and china added to the delight. And our host remembered little things like how we like our coffee etc. The outdoor spaces with Adirondack chairs and lovely gardens also were refreshing. The welcome cookies in our room were a nice touch and tasty too. It would be nice to have coffee and tea available 24/7, but there was bottled water in our room which was nice. Our host happily gave us helpful tips about maximizing our experience in Gananoque- from deboarding a cruise to get the most time at the Boldt Castle, to a good place to hike, to places to eat. The hosts told us to let them know if we needed anything. They were friendly and attentive and yet respectful that we were on vacation. We would definitely stay again.

They were very welcoming and gave us an orientation of our gorgeous bedroom and their outstanding home. We immediately felt 'at home'. We thoroughly enjoyed discussing a wide variety of topics with these two very interesting people! The part of our visit that will stay with us is the spectacular way their home was lighted which is uncommon in our experience. Returning from dinner we were gobsmacked by the stunning outdoor lighting! We felt like we were entering a castle! Colin prepared a very generous and delicious breakfast while Peter graciously served us. We most definitely will be visiting Seaway Manor again! We found that sliding the dining room chairs on the carpet a bit difficult which was a very small matter. However we wanted to give honest feedback.

- Norma (9/5): Fabulous stay in a beautiful part of Canada - Breakfast was lovely. Colin had obviously put a huge amount of thought and effort into breakfast. Both Colin and Peter were exceptional hosts and really engaging. The location of the property was excellent being a short stroll to the water’s edge and the high street. Room was lovely and clean, bright and airy and shower was wonderful. The only thing that could have been improved for us would have been the addition of coffee making facilities for the evening or when back from a day exploring. Other than that everything was fabulous.

The freshly baked cookies and handmade soaps were a lovely touch. Breakfast was wonderful - we had vegetable crepes with sausage/bacon with poached eggs and zucchini muffins the first day, and scrambled eggs eith sausage/bacon, freshly baked biscuits with apricot and strawberry jam, and banana mini-muffins the next day in their beautiful kitchen. Walking distance to the thousand island cruises. Would absolutely recommend & return!

- Catharina (10/5): Van harte aanbevolen - We hebben een super verblijf gehad bij Colin & Peter. We hadden de loft kamer, een mooie ruime zolderkamer. 2 grote comfortabele bedden. Er zijn een paar zitjes en een tafel met stoelen. Daarbij is er een koelkast. Het ontbijt werd ‘s ochtends vers gemaakt, elke ochtend een andere verrassing. Buiten kun je in de voortuin zitten. Goede parkeerplaatsen aan de zijkant van het huis. De B&B is op loopafstand van de hoofdstraat, de haven (waar de 1000 island boottour vertrekt) en een museum. We hebben ook goede tips gekregen voor restaurants en activiteiten in de buurt. Voor ons geen nadeel, maar wel goed om te weten: er is geen lift dus je moet een paar trappen op.

- Chris (10/5): A superb stay at an outstanding B&B. - My wife and I stayed here in June. The location was perfect, the accommodation was superb and our hosts were quite simply outstanding. My wife is struggling with some intolerances at the moment and our hosts went out of thir way to ensure she could eat a full breakfast. If we ever go back to Gananoque this will be our first choice for accommodation.
- Sir Eduard (10/5): Hervorragend, traumhaft und einzigartig! - Unser Aufenthalt bei Peter und Colin war hervorragend. Wir konnten sogar Colins Geburtstag gemeinsam feiern. Die beiden Hosts waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sie waren immer offen für nette Gespräche und gaben uns gute Tipps, um die Umgebung besser kennenzulernen. Das Frühstück war deliziös und es gab immer neue Kreationen! Das liebevoll renovierte Haus ist atemberaubend. Dass die Hosts im gleichen Haus wohnen, ist einzigartig. Es war schlicht ein Genuss, dort zu übernachten. Da es sich um ein "altes" Haus handelt, steht kein Lift zur Verfügung. Aber wir waren im Urlaub und hatten genügend Kraft, um unsere Koffer raufzuschleppen.

- Anja (10/5): Rundum wundervoll! - Es war rundum super, die Gastgeber haben uns direkt bei Ankunft herzlichst empfangen, tolle Tipps für Restaurants und Ausflüge gegeben und einem in jedem Moment gezeigt, dass man durch und durch willkommen ist. Das Frühstück war mehr wie lecker und immer frisch und selbst gemacht, sogar die Cookies zum Empfang im Zimmer waren der Wahnsinn. Die Lage war für einen Besuch in Ganananoque unschlagbar, nah zur Bootstour, zum Pub und zum Kanuverleih und trotzdem ruhig. Am liebsten wären wir noch länger geblieben. Dieses B&B wird uns für immer in guter Erinnerung bleiben.

- Michelle (10/5): Un endroit merveilleux à découvrir - C'est un endroit à découvrir, tout était parfait. Les hôtes Peter et Colin étaient d'une gentillesse et disponibilité incomparables. Les petits déjeuners étaient savoureux et servis avec beaucoup d'attention dans une salle à déjeuner impeccable et décorée avec goût. Notre chambre était d'un grand confort et d'une grande propreté. La situation géographique, la proximité de l'eau, des restaurants, tout était accessible à pied,. Merci encore à nos hôtes. Rien.

Les chambres sont petites mais agréables et confortables. L’établissement est très bien situé et le stationnement est facilement accessible. Je recommande fortement cet établissement. - jude (10/5): מקסים מהנה חוויה שונה לגמרי ושווה את המחיר - מדובר ממש בבית שבו הם חיים וישנם 6 חדרים. שלנו היה בקומה העליונה קצת מאתגר עם המזוודות לעלות כ 30 מדרגות ובחלקן ממש צרות. ארוחת הבוקר היא ארוחה שהם מכינים בעצמם וכל יום היא הפתעה אחרת כוללת ביצים פחמימות פירות. המקום קרוב ממש לים ויש ליד כמה מסעדות נחמדות גם היציאה לשייט של האיים ממש קרוב לבית. המארחים ממש נחמדים ומנסים לעזור בכל דבר שנשאלו חבל שאין אופציה אחרת לארוחת בוקר לאלה שלא מתחברים לקונספט

- Valérie (10/5): Absolute aanrader voor een trip naar the 1000 islands - Zeer Charmant, persoonlijk, zeer hygiënisch, goede bedden, prima badkamer, ruime en mooie kamer, zeer sympathieke gastheren, uitzonderlijk goed ontbijt. Super goede ligging Enig minpunt… de kamer was niet verduisterd (via het dakraam) waardoor het vanaf 5u ‘s morgens licht was. Er is evenmin een lift. Voor onze generatie geen probleem, maar misschien wel voor oudere gasten of mensen slechter te been.

Ontbijt elke dag vers ambachtelijk gemaakt door 1 van de gastheren; Heel gezellige B&B: was als thuiskomen. Colin en Peter heel aangename gastheren . De aanwezigheid van enkele fietsen zou een pluspuntje zijn. Heel moeilijk om in het dorp te huren.

- Julie (10/5): Stay at Seaway Manor and you won’t be disappointed - We’ve had an excellent stay at the Seaway Manor. The hosts, Peter and Colin couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating, and are always there for a friendly chat or to offer suggestions of places to visit, the best restaurants and things to do in town (Peter, your suggestion of the scenic route to Montreal was spot on, and we loved the Brockville railway tunnel). Our room was very comfortable, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The breakfasts were delicious, all home cooked by Colin and including home baked breads and cakes. The house is in a very peaceful spot with easy access to the river front, boat tours, the high street and local bars and restaurants. I would highly recommend staying at Seaway Manor and would definitely return if we’re in the area in the future. There’s absolutely nothing to not like

Wir hatten das Zimmer im Erdgeschoss, welches geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber war. Zudem hat uns die ruhige und schöne Lage des Hauses sehr gut gefallen. Das Frühstück wurde frisch zubereitet. Es ist die persönliche Note, die diesen Aufenthalt für uns unvergesslich macht :) Vielen Dank dafür! -

- Alastair (10/5): - Truly couldn't have been a better stay. My son and I arrived hot and tired after a fairly long motorbike ride. We were warmly greeted by Peter, but with just the right balance of friendly and helpfulness, but also giving us space to decompress and sort ourselves out, as we unpacked our bikes and gathered ourselves. We looked to him again for dining recommendations, which were spot on. And the next morning, after an excellent breakfast cooked by Colin, Peter took tremendous trouble to help me map our route from Gananoque to Toronto, which worked out perfectly, keeping us away from the busiest roads right until it was no longer avoidable. We've previously stayed at hotels on our trip, but this was the perfect B&B experience.
