• Roy (10/5): Tranquilidad y amabilidad de un pueblo acogedor. - La amabilidad de la anfritiona y la tranquilidad del lugar. La disponibilidad de equipo para cocinar fue estupenda. Ingresaban gatos a la zona de cocina y no se podía dejar nada que se pudieran llevar. Al llegar el televisor no tenía cable de HDMI, por ende no funcionaba, pero Marianela lo resolvió rápidamente.

• Noliveras91 (10/5): Cumple con lo que ofrece - Una habitacion sencilla pero que cumple con lo que promete. No dispone de desayuno però tiene todas las comodidades. La propietaria muy agradable y una gestion muy facil. La casa esta muy bien ubicada y en una zona tranquila y familiar.
• Radim (2/5): - Tmavé, vlhké místo, je uprostřed místních stavení. Nedá se dobře zamknout, pokoje malé a byly cítit plísní, vše neuspořádané. Koupelna ale čistá. Je to blízko přístavu směr Puntarenas.Velmi drahé ve srovnání s jinými hezkým lokalitami.

• Linda (8/5): I would stay again. - The location was good and the host was very nice she fixed us breakfast for a reasonable price. she also called for the taxi when needed. We walked around the neighborhood, saw Scarlet Macaws and Parakeets, and heard howler monkeys. Restaurants are a short walk or you can cook in the kitchen. Room and kitchen are very clean. The room was small but clean. dogs in the neighborhood do bark at night ...to be expected
• Judith (9/5): Superb - Room with private bathroom and toilet, AC and fan (checkpot!!!), plus open kitchen area with fridge (but under a roof). Everything basic but functional. Nela was very kind and helpful. The room is quite small for two people but definitely works for a shorter stay. It has a window, but it's towards the road with a non-seethrough fence right in front of it. So definitely no view, but you can open the window and air the room. There are a lot of dogs around which sometimes start barking during the night. But it wasn't too bad. Attention of the TV when you exit the shower room... Don't bump your head! :)
• Jochem (9/5): Superb - We stayed one night and it was perfect for us. Close to the ferry and Curú wildlife reserve, clean, good airco, lovely host, good bed. Great value for money.
• Emma (10/5): Highly recommended. - Great value: we've been touring Costa Rica on a budget for 3 weeks now, and this was hands-down our best accommodation (good air con, great airy kitchen, nice private bathroom, comfy bed, all super-clean), and also the cheapest. Lovely host: Marionella made us so very welcome, and she even helped us to wash and dry our clothes ! A beautiful, warm lady. Convenient location: good supermarkets (and restaurants) just 400m away. We actually delayed our planned early departure, drinking lots of Marionella's coffee, because we didn't want to leave.

• Ruth (9/5): Great value for money - Great place to stay if you need to spend a night in Paquera before catching the ferry. Really good value for money. Room and bathroom are basic but have everything you need and are very clean. It's located in a sort of residential area, so a good chance to get off the tourist trail and be in an area where everyone else is a local. The host was amazing, very friendly and helpful, she even gave me breakfast when she was making some for herself! Nothing to complain about.
• Miriam (8/5): Very good - Basic room but you have all you need. There is aircon and ventilator in the room, tv and bathroom. Very clean and great host, she helped me to get a taxi to move around. I would recommended if you are on budget.
• Jasmin (10/5): Exceptional - I had a super nice stay, it's in a quiet neighbourhood with restaurants and supermarkets near by and you can see lots of macaws around, very friendly and helpful owner, comfy bed, I felt very comfortable and could've stayed longer, close to Curú Nationalpark Everything was great
• Megan (5/5): Passable for short stays - Very kind and attentive host. The kitchen and kitchen facilities are very good for cooking, thankfully I was given a fan for the kitchen area as well, super appreciated. Really appreciate the option of a cheap place to stay, but I highly recommend the a/c room over this one. A/C room is very nice. The rooms are not getting any deep cleaning. Bugs. Dust piles under the bed and in the fan. Very old stained bed sheets. Towels were full of lint. Window doesnt lock or close all the way. Door unlocks on its own. No lamp or mirror. Unbearably hot this time of year after 10am as the sun hits the window. Cant expect much for the price but I felt very inconsidered by the man that lives at the location for hammering nails into the wall outside my room at 7am, also using loud machinery very early and throughout the day.
