• Carsten (10/5): Unkompliziert, komfortabel und tolle Lage - wenn ihr mit mehr als zwei Personen reist, solltet ihr euch diese Wohnung ma - Die Wohnung ist ein clever umgebautes ehemaliges Gewerbehaus, in das ein „Haus-in-Haus“-Konzept eingebaut wurde. Größere Teile, Wohnzimmer mit den beiden Schlafcouches und Küche, liegen unter dem Straßenniveau, die Fenster sind in 3m Höhe durch Kurbeln zu öffnen. Das hilft, wenn man gekocht hat und abends dort schlafen möchte. Die zwei Zimmer auf Erdgeschoss-Niveau sind sehr geräumig, teilweise mit sehr großen Schrankwänden - einem längeren Aufenthalt steht also nichts im Weg. Die Wohnung erscheint sehr liebevoll eingerichtet! Hervorragend ist natürlich auch die Lage, viele städtischen Ziele sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Andererseits ist die Bushaltestelle direkt vorm Haus und wird von vielen Linien in engem Takt bedient - einfach treiben lassen. Zu erwähnen ist noch der Supermarkt direkt gegenüber, der euch fast rund um die Uhr versorgen kann. Ein paar Abstriche muss man in zentraler Lage natürlich im Bereich der Geräuschisolation machen - das Haus besteht in seiner alten Bausubstanz aus einer Ziegelreihe und auch die Fenster sind nur bedingt hilfreich. Andererseits muss man sagen, dass die Straßen um das Haus nachts nicht sehr belebt sind, also alles in Ordnung! Das Hinterhaus wird durch den Flur vor der Wohnung erreicht, so dass an Wochentagen schon recht früh sehr viel Türengeräusche erzeugt werden, die durch die Wohnungstür und die dünnen Wände nur bedingt gedämpft werden. Aber wirklich: alles absolut im Rahmen!

• Maureen (10/5): The urban jungle apartment was great for our family stay. - The location was great, we could walk to many of the tourist destinations. The bedrooms were a good size and comfortable. It’s a street level apartment and there was street noise at times. It did not interrupt our sleep.

• Catherine (6/5): Assez décevant malgré le bon emplacement - Nous avons apprécié l'emplacement mais sans plus. L'appartement est spacieux en dehors de la salle de bain. Possibilité de faire des courses à proximité et transports accessibles petite distance de marche. Le salon est meublé avec goût et il est spacieux. Instructions très claires pour récupérer la clé. L'appartement est assez bruyant car il est situé sur une rue très passante. Il est nécessaire de faire des améliorations dans cet appartement en vue d'une location assez chère malgré tout. Ce n'est absolument pas à la hauteur ! De nombreuses choses sont cassées et pas réparées : porte du meuble de la salle de bains, porte des meubles de la chambre; ampoules cassées, ustensiles de cuisine cassés, congélateur totalement pris par la glace. La salle de bain est vraiment trop petite, avec un petit lave main et une petite armoire de toilette cassée. Odeur désagréable dans la salle de bain également. Très difficile de régler la température de la douche. Il faudrait vraiment améliorer le service de nettoyage : cheveux dans le lit; salle de bain et sol très limite.
• Pia (10/5): Hübsche Wohnung in sehr guter Lage - Sehr sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr viel Platz. Nähe zu City, direkt um die Ecke sehr gutes Café und gegenüber sehr guter Imbiss. Gelegenheit zum Einkaufen, sehr bequeme Betten Die Fenster waren verblendet, weil die Wohnung im Erdgeschoss liegt. Deshalb kein Blick nach draußen und wenig Licht von außen. Das hat uns nicht weiter gestört, weil wir tagsüber den ganzen Tag unterwegs waren. Trotzdem hat uns die sehr gut gefallen.

Location near to The Shard and Borough market . The host , Ryan , was really helpful and great with communication. Security Deposit paid back the same day when requested.

• Jeremy (7/5): Good location on a map, bad location from a street noise perspective - The owner was very responsive, instructions to access the apartment were clear and well communicated. The area is within walking distance to several restaurants shops and transportation spots. 1. As the unit is on the ground level of a busy intersection, there is a lot of street noise coming directly into the bedrooms. You are literally 5 ft away from passersby at all hours. There is no air conditioning and since we were there in the summer, had to open the windows to get some fresh air into the apartment. Unfortunately this meant a lot of street noise coming in as well. 2. Although it is probably necessary due to it being in the ground level, all of the windows in the apartment are frosted, meaning you can't see out of them. This may not bother you, but it made me feel a bit claustrophobic. 3. This is a more minor issue, but the pillows on the beds are terrible. I ended up using a rolled up towel under my head.

Very easy self check in arrangements. Great communication from Host. Lovely touches like snacks on arrival and complementary toiletries. Lovely coffee shop next door and Co-op directly across the street. One very small improvement would be extra pillows in the bedrooms

• Enora (10/5): Confortable et conforme - L'appartement est conforme aux photos de l'annonce, propre, bien équipé et confortable pour 4 adultes. Nous n'avons pas utilisé les canapés lits mais ils nous semblaient moins confortables. L'emplacement est idéal, il est facile de rejoindre les attractions touristiques à pieds ou en transports en commun. Les commentaires sur le bruit sont véridiques. Les chambres sont en rez-de-chaussée et le salon un niveau en dessous. Toutefois la rue a été calme le temps de notre séjour et nous n'avons pas été dérangées.

The heating was very easy to use and got warm very fast. The deposit was paid back very promptly within 48hrs. With being a ground floor apartment you can clearly hear everyone walking past while your in the bedrooms.

• Alessandro (8/5): - Abbiamo soggiornato per 4 notti in 6 persone, le foto rispecchiano bene l'aspetto e l'atmosfera degli ambienti, il riscaldamento è caldo e facilmente regolabile. Al piano terra sono presenti le due camere da letto ed un piccolo bagno (una camera ha il letto che da un lato è attaccato al muro) , al piano interrato c’è la cucina con la sala ed il secondo bagno con vasca (in sala sono presenti 5 finestre poste a livello strada e sono apribili per far circolare l’aria). Come per tutte le case Londinesi, le finestre non sono dotate di tapparelle/persiane, quindi mentre per le due camere da letto sono presenti delle tende oscuranti, per chi dovesse dormire sui divani in salotto, le 5 finestre sono prive di oscuranti, quindi se hai problemi a dormire con la luce non è adatto, inoltre essendo che le camere sono al piano terra con finestre a livello strada, per chi ha il sonno leggero potrebbe dare fastidio il passaggio delle macchine e dei pedoni. Durante il nostro soggiorno non era disponibile la lavatrice/ascugatrice. Il divano letto non è comodissimo per dormirci troppe notti. Se vuoi mangiare in casa, e’ presente un piccolo supermercato proprio a 20 metri di distanza sul marciapiede di fronte con a fianco anche un ristorante che fa grigliate di carne. E’ presente anche la fermata del Bus proprio davanti casa, mentre la metropolitana è a 5 minuti a piedi, noi con i trasporti ci siamo trovati molte bene. Divano letto

• Stefano (4/5): - The property is effectively spacious and has a great position, just 5 minutes walk from the Borough Market and the London Bridge Station. The property needs a good maintenance as the furniture are old and ruined and some lights inside were broken. The windows do not close well and some points of the windows were closed with duct tape. It's a pity, as the property has really a great potential.

Went all his way till midnight to sort out heating issue. Only 1 toilet and bath. Although the location is great, as it's on the roadside it could really be loud at night.

The property had everything we needed. The host was very helpful and responsive. The cafe next door did a great breakfast. There is quite a lot of traffic noise and people passing by the apartment.

Appartement atypique décoré avec beaucoup de goût. 2 toilettes c’est appréciable vu que nous étions 5. Ryan notre interlocuteur est hyper dispo et réactif pour la moindre question. Seul petit bémol , la salle de bain est très petite et manque de rangements.

Property was really easy to find, and when following the instructions, it was really easy to find the keys and access the building. The property was clean and tidy, and had everything we needed. I worked from the flat during our stay, and the wifi was great. The host was really helpful in advance of our stay. Only a few small things - I personally didn't find the pillows that comfortable. It was a little noisy at times, but this didn't bother me too much. When staying at other hosted properties there has usually been tea / coffee / milk - as we were there for a couple of days this would have been a nice added bonus but again it wasn't an issue.

• Dolly (10/5): The apartment was perfect for our needs, would definitely stay as a family again or even just as a couple. It met all ex - It was exactly as pictured, stylish modern decor, plenty of storage, warm (really needed with the freezing temperatures), spotlessly clean throughout, well stocked supply of essentials (they’ve thought of everything including a lovely welcome basket!), spacious - even for 6 and the location is great, everything we wanted was all within walking distance. The toilet in the main bathroom didn’t function properly but it didn’t really affect our stay, it just would’ve been nicer having 2 available with 6 of us sharing.
