Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (2/5): Extra charges - They forced me to pay an extra $5 for a locker I didn't need. Either pay or leave š”
- Janely (2/5): - I do not like to write reviews when they are bad. But as a woman who was traveling alone, I was lead to believe this was a women only house. I entered and there were men and women who were very disheveled. The property seemed to host homeless, struggling residents. It seemed very unsafe for a single young woman. The host was not there, and when one of the residents called him he told me that he doesnāt accept bookings through Expedia, which was odd because I already had booked the bunk bed through Expedia. I ended up not even not seeing the room, because of how uncomfortable I felt there. I left and booked another hotel. The pictures used to display the property on Expedia are a complete LIE. This is a slum property with a very questionable atmosphere. Please do better at being more honest on describing the property on Expedia.
- Derek (2/5): - When I arrived to this dump there were juugs outside gookin bad. A guy claiming to be the house manager stopped me at the door and told me to wait outside. He took pics of my ID with his phone and said heās checking on a reservation. He then went inside and left me in the driveway for about 10 minutes. He finally came outside and said how many days you wanna stay? I said 1. He say oh yeah we gotta problem. Aināt no room. You got anywhere elseyou can go tonight? Iām like yeah no problem. By now I didnāt even want to stay here because it was such weird vibes. I say how do I go about getting my refund. He says no clue. Thatās why I prefer cash. Whatever that means. So many junkies walking in and out I couldnāt imagine the sleeping arrangement. I just ended up getting a hotel room. Horrible experience. Would not recommend. Itās in the middle of the hood. Iām from the streets so it aināt bother me much by the location but thinking about going to sleep under the same roof as the local riff raff was crazy business š©
- Verified traveler (2/5): Stay away - Terrible, reported this āhostelā to hotels.com for removal from the platform. Unsafe, bad area, pictures are nothing like actual property. Shady people, all men. The living room, front yard, and kitchen were filthy, broken down. It was like a scene from training day the movie. I left and stayed somewhere else, DO NOT BOOK
- Guadalupe (2/5): Undisclosed Fees and No Space Available. - I booked this place for a night and was going to be charged for a late check in fee to be paid by cash only upon arrival when there is no check-in end time in the property description.
I was then told that there was no space for the night and to book at other properties without any information about what was paid. Called customer service consequently to not be able to get a hold of anyone from the property.
- Ayinde (2/5): - Terrible experience! Lots of hidden fees, Staff are disrespectful bullys, ppl there steal, drug addicts on property, bad neighborhood, threatening ppl permanently living there disliking visitors, bed itches red bites, ppl in & out all night, owner wakes ppl up before checkout demanding next payment, owner th
- Verified traveler (4/5): Iād turn back if I were you. - Might be the worst place Iāve ever stayed. The outside and inside was a mess. Neither bathroom had toilet paper. The place resembled more of a halfway house than a hostel. The only silver lining is that itās close to a bus stop and I ate at this awesome hole-in-the-wall Nicaraguan restaurant about a block away. Would I stay there again? Highly unlikely.
- Isaiah (2/5): - I booked for 4 nights, I get there they say they have no rooms. I had to cancel through expedia to then wait on the owners confirmation to get my refund. Complete waste of time and caused me to spend extra money for rides and last minute bookings at other hotels which makes the prices even higher. It was a complete waste of time and money. I do not recommend trying to book with this place.
- Markiee (10/5): - The place is not as bad as the reviews say. I checked in last night. Well aware this is a co-living environment. The place feels like visiting a normal home. Everyone there was friendly and respectful.
- AKMAL (4/5): My Bad Stay - Distance between Beds is very small, not comfortable, to reach the bed was too exhosting. It was very difficult to arrive to the Hostel, because the Hostel number of the address panel number, was too small. There was no sign bearing the name ( FlixB2dbthe Latinx ). Seats outside the hostel, are poor quality
- Eric (10/5): - Kimberly was so sweet and everyone made sure I felt at home
- Kevin (2/5): - Uber dropped me off.I had no idea if I was on right block much less where my place was. The area looked scary to me so I got back on Uber app,got a car and kept going.
- Ali (2/5): - Dont stay
- Charles (2/5): - I walked to the area outside the property and was too scared to go inside.
- Jesus (2/5): - There unsafe! Let you know they donāt have credit card, only cash in personā¦. Because Iām deaf I want tell to everybody for help!
- Jay (2/5): - do NOT book
- Alicia (2/5): They steal money - This was the worst place ever it is more of a rooming house upon arrival I was told no beds were available and that anything pass 1 day needs to be in cash I am currently riding on the train with nowhere to go and trying to get a refund please donāt waste your time.
