• Pamela (10/5): Perfect place to stay to explore Florence. - The location is excellent, so close to all attractions and amazing restaurants. The apartment was clean and well equipped. Lovely to have the roof terrace to sit out on. Staff were very helpful when we had questions or issues. Better quality towels or more of them. We had to ask for clean towels and staff provided them no problem. An information boo would be good, we had to message and ask where the plates and bowls were. In the cupboard under the tv, not somewhere we would ever have looked. No tea towel either but there is a dishwasher. There are a lot of stars but we knew that before we came so not an issue.

• Steven (9/5): - Ideale ligging in het historisch centrum, ruim appartement, ondanks dat het in het historisch centrum ligt, zorgt de 3e verdieping ervoor dat het relatief stil is in het appartement. Levendige straat met erg veel eet gelegenheden. Als je thuis een kingsize bed hebt, voelt elk bed dat smaller is, minder comfortabel. Desondanks zijn het erg kwalitatieve bedden. Met 72 treden om in het appartement te geraken, houdt je je fysiek wel op peil. :-)

• Svetlana (5/5): Could be suitable for young people only. - The location is great! NEVER EVER book this place if you have little kids or elderly people or heavy luggages! It s on 3 floor with hundreds of the stairs without the lift!After reaching the apartment we found only 1 small bottle of water. The entry door was not always open and we were not provided the code to enter. No safe is inside the apartment either.

• Benito (9/5): Great location and a lovely apartment. - Very nice apartment, the rooms and bathrooms where good. The view from the top was great. Could have supplied some kitchen roll/paper and or tea towel. As everyone else has said the stairs are hard work with a case.
• Tami (1/5): Terrible and disappointing as I had friends with me who had never been to Florence before - Nothing, this was not the location or property we booked Notification sent to Booking.com (no phone call to me) at time of check in that there was a leak and they were moving us to a different apartment. It was not in the area I wanted but with suitcases in hand we were kinda stuck. The building was under construction, trash by the entrance the entire time we were there, could not hold onto railing going up stairs as covered in construction dust,no balcony like the one we had booked and no view at all. Water had a yellow tint to it in the bathroom faucets. The building smelled of sewer. We had to pay the same price as the one we had prepaid for the one I booked months prior. There were parties in the building going on both nights until 2am…..obviously that part is out of their control but added to our frustration. The A/C units were locked at a temperature that was not comfortable for us and ope I g windows were not an option due to the tons of mosquitos and loud parties. So disappointed and the only thing they said to me when I called was that they had one other apt. (Which did not appear any better and I believe only had one bathroom). They said they would refund me my money and I could go find another place….. I have been to Florence a few times and as we stood there with our bags in hand I am not an idiot and I knew that finding a new place for the same/similar price would not be an easy feat. I had already wasted too much time, 2 hours, talking with them on the phone and being frustrated and I was not willing to exhaust anymore of my vacation time trying to find a new place last minute. Worst experience I e ever had traveling and I travel A LOT!!!
• Kiarna (7/5): Lovely however with a few minor changes would be amazing. - The location was amazing, very close and within a walkable distance to all sites we wanted to see during our stay. A very spacious apartment, the terrace upstairs was an added bonus we really enjoyed having coffee up there in the morning. Staff were excellent, we had an issue arise and they were very helpful and easy to communicate with. Beds were super uncomfortable like sleeping on a brick and pillows very thin, the fold out couch was more comfortable than both the beds in the rooms. The lock to the door on the terrace doesn’t lock properly.

• Isabella (7/5): Alright. - Location is great! However it is so difficult to move our luggages to upstairs since it is on third floor (narrow stairs and steep) without any help. No elevator at all! We just don’t know how did we able to bring my luggages up and down. Moreover, Please buy your own water, , shampoo, conditioner so and so. They only provide you hand washing ( which suggested to use for shower, shampoo also). They provide cooking pots, but no plates and bowls. The only thing I like is this suit has two bathrooms. Narrow stairs, no elevator, located on 3rd floor. No staff come to help

• Mary (8/5): It's a delightful place in a terrific location but be aware of the steps especially. - The location was terrific. We could have never left our block and eaten at a different fabulous place every night. The apartment was very very clean and comfortable. We were warned there was no elevator but 69 steps with luggage is a little much. Getting into the key lock box is very difficult without a flashlight. We never did get into the internet. Neither of our phones or kindle would connect.
• Hope (9/5): Perfect spot to stay - Perfect location, lots of room for our family of 5. Clean, well furnished apartment There are lots of stairs, but we knew that from the comments and wasn’t a bother. Good to know before booking if you have any issues with stairs.

• Linda (10/5): Wonderful stay in the heart of Florence would book again in a heart beat. - Everything, it was comfortable, great lay out with terrace. Small details like tea, coffee, olive oil. Fabulous location. Staff so helpful and friendly. Have nothing negative to say at all. As mentioned in reviews I read before there are a lot of stairs. This was fine for us but would be tricky if have health or mobility issues.
• Ivan (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean, comfortable and modern apartment. The location is great, in the heart of the historical center, a few minutes walking distance to Ufizi gallery and Ponte Vecchio bridge. The famous All'Antico Vinaio sandwich shop is across the street. Even though the street is often crowded with tourists, it was very quiet in the apartment! The stairs of the building are very steep and could be dangerous for little children to climb without supervision.

• Aleksandrina (9/5): Pleasant stay in the heart of Florence - The apartment is at excellent location-in the heart of the city, clean and well managed. Everything was as described and as per the pictures-two separate bedrooms, pull out sofa is on the living room. At firsts I was under the impression that it’s on the upper floor, but with this setup you have the balcony and sitting area independent from rest of the apartment. Funny thing was that it took us two days to realize all plates are in the cupboard under the tv.

• Yesha (10/5): Best location with modern apartment! - The apartment looks even better in real than the pictures! It's super modern and swanky! The location was fabulous! You get out and you are right in the heart of the bustling street of Florence! The Historic centre is just 5 mins walking, and you have cafes and restaurants all around. The apartment is very comfortable and we had 2 bedrooms but 3 beds between 5 people. The bathrooms are super clean and a good size. It's located on 3rd floor and there is no elevator (as in whole of florence) but it's totally doable. We didn't feel the brunt other than the day when the bags had to be taken up. But it's just that one time! There is pretty much nothing that we did not like about this apartment. :)

Please disregard about my previous comment. I just wanted to let you know that they accidentally posted my review for another apartment, Virtus Prestige, into my stay with Mamo Florence. I will correct this with booking.com. I wanted to let everyone know that this place is the best place that we have stayed throughout Europe.
• Okland (9/5): An Arctic Heaven - I loved this unit!! We booked this place after staying at the Hotel Medici (NEVER I repeat NEVER book this hotel) and finding it inhospitable. The night before, we booked this for 6 at such a good price for short notice. The staff was so responsive and helpful whenever I messaged them on WhatsApp or called. The AC was up to US standards for sure and the unit was very clean when we arrived. The view from the little porch outside the loft is so cute and we enjoyed coffee on it in the mornings before it got too hot. The only two things I would say about this apartment is that it’s up four flights of stairs, but after Positano it was a piece of cake. Second, we did have to flip the breaker a few times when drying our hair (with Italian voltage of course not a US hairdryer), but when we contacted the customer service, they gave us very clear instructions on how to find and flip the breaker.
• Michael (9/5): Very nice location. No elevator. - Fantastic location. We could even watch the fireworks from the upstairs, Falcon. It was clean and comfortable. There were a ton of stairs to climb. With a lot of luggage that was a chore.

Location was incredibly central and hosts were always responsive and helpful. One of the few apartments Ive stayed in that is SO centrally located and yet totally quiet and peaceful. No laundry and 4th story without and elevator, but we knew that when booking so no complaints

We had to call when we arrived to enter the front door, but the response was quick and everyone was very friendly. We could walk everywhere, which was great, but the street was INCREDIBLY crowded because of a popular sandwich shop two doors down. There were 71 steps to reach the apartment which was not mentioned in the description - we only had carry on bags, but that was a lot. Also there were no extra towels or shampoo and conditioner dispensers - they just offered single packs which are not great for large families traveling from a distance.

• Fleur (10/5): Exceptional - We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful apartment. Loved the decor combined with the historic building. The terrace was an extra bonus, with great views. It was very quiet, but right in the heart of the Uffizi District, with galleries, churches, piazzas, the river, bridges and lots of shops and restaurants right on the doorstep. The apartment was very well equipped. We didn't find the plates until day 3, but all good. There are 71 steps to reach the apartment, which was fine for us. The hosts were very professional,  helpful and friendly. Thank you so much for all of your kind help. Would definitely book again. All good, thank you.
• Knight (10/5): Perfect accommodation for a stay in the most beautiful of cities. - Fab location - in the heart of Florence but super quiet. Spacious, tastefully decorated and clean. Ideal for our group of four. Even though it was December, we were able to enjoy the roof top terrace (in coats) and make the most of the beauty of the city. (You do need to be good at climbing stairs but that’s what guarantees you peace and quiet as the city is always busy.)

It’s on the 3rd European floor and the stairs are quite a lot. It’s fine for a relatively fit group but nearly impossible for elderly guests.
• Dorthe (7/5): Very centrally located, yet extremely quiet apartment. Many steps, no escalator. Kitchen useless. - The apartment is very, very centrally located and even so it is absolutely quiet. On a scale from 1-10 on quietness and location, this apartment gets 11. Hosts very responsive and helpful. The terrasse is great, yet up one storage. Marvellous view from there. The kitchen is not made for making food on the spot. There is absolutely nothing useful for making a proper dinner at house. Kitchenware is sparse and in bad quality. But prioritised two (!!) fridges??! Also, there is only one tea towel provided for a week, only one dish cloth, no bags for the garbage, no instruction as to where to get rid of the garbage. There is no oven - even though it says Kitchen Oven among amenities on the website (hosts: please amend this!). So don't count in being able to bake bread yourself! There is a kettle for water, but works really badly, so does not switch off automatically, filling the whole kitchen with steam. The cooker is induction, but the frying pans are not for induction, so some metal plates are put on top of the cooker to make the pans work - which really does not work very well. This is a very expensive apartment, so difficult to understand why proper kitchen ware has not been prioritised. If we wanted a hotel, we would have bought that. When selecting an apartment, it is for the possibility of making food at home. Also, the sleeping couch is very bad quality and difficult to sleep in. It is very noisy, so not lying totally still, you wake up a billion times every night due to the noise of that bed. And it was my 14-year-old of about 50 kgs lying there; I wonder what it sounds like if an adult sleeps there. I was in the bedroom with closed door to this sleeping couch, and I woke up by the noise of it.
• Nour (10/5): Highly Recommend! - Wow what a property. Absolutely beautiful, clean and modern. The rooftop terrace is such a big plus as well. In terms of location, I dont think it can get better than this! Nothing, everything was great.
