Guest Reviews
- Milanka (7/5): Good -
- Sam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tony (1/5): Crap - Nothing about the room 220 it was terrible
The facilities provided by landmark resort were very good The fact I did not get the room I booked, it was an air BnB and this was not made obvious why. Booking with booking dot com
- Lawrence (8/5): Very good -
- Georgia (2/5): Location excellent, room awful. - Great location and pool but awful room. It was so dirty, obvious mould in bathroom, dust everywhere. The room stinks and needs a really good deep clean. Sofa bed was horrible. Wifi wouldn’t work. Host not helpful. Room needs an upgrade. Old jocks in the dryer on arrival. Horrible. Won’t be back.
- Rebecca (9/5): Superb -
- Ron (2/5): Way overpriced - Studio was way overpriced. Air-conditioner didn't work (did report to First Holiday) no action! TV not smart so only 4 local channels, studio smelt, shower step dangerously small for climb into bath/shower. There was very little storage in wardrobe and what was available was compromised by vacuum and air fryer .This is a third party property so Landmark have no interest and did agree they had better cheaper accommodation to book direct. The unit was very tired and needed a good freshen up doors scratched and getting stuck in wall cavatity. I think booking.com should make this clearer in there ad. I did attend the office of First Holiday they were dismissive said owners don't read reviews but she would contact them. Three days later I rang as was told no contact no care!!!
- Dan (8/5): Very good -
- Toni (5/5): Passable -
- Addie (4/5): Disappointing - Location was good The unit, the air conditioning was dirty and smelly, the shower you needed a ladder to get up and over the bathtub to get in and then nearly fell out being slippery, the carpet smells old, there was no dishwashing liquid to clean dishes and we could only get 3 channels on the tv
- Meredith (9/5): A great place to hide away from the weather-Alfred- but so close to the Esplanade - Location was fantastic and a really solid unit Being a bit on the short getting in and out of the shower was a little tricky. Not sure if WPHS would allow a step.
- Lisa (5/5): Passable - The roof top Very small , very outdated . Stuffed in a corner of the complex with no air flow. Had to collect and return key from another place . It was expensive for what is was.
- Carolyn (6/5): Loved the location, suitable for 1-2 people. - Location is exceptional The room was so much smaller than I thought and so we were slightly uncomfortable with little room. Would be great for just 1 person or a couple. There was really no storage space in bedroom or kitchen.
The WIFI was very temperamental and the TV would be great if it was updated even just to include Netflix.
- Lauren (9/5): Superb -
- Elizabeth (8/5): Very good - The location was ideal. The pool area was fantastic for families and the roof top area was well maintained. Honestly was a great location and good resort.
- Angela (9/5): Very nice room will stay again for that reason but would some basic information on hotel facilities in room on arrival p - It had everything I needed from cheese grater to spa in the room and the rest of the hotel with spas, pool, gymnasium and parking The receptionists were a bit icey at the hotel. I had to ask if they could watch my bags while I went to get the key. I didn’t have much but they told me to just put it behind the pamphlet stand, and she didn’t seem to impressed that I asked for anything as I didn’t book through the hotel. Hotel staff have always placed my bags behind the counter previously. I made sure I didn’t ask them for anything else as they made me feel unwelcome in doing so.
There was also a maintenance thing happening with keys, the information pamphlet stated days but no rough times this was happening.
Also I didn’t have any information about the room: accessing internet, fire exits (on the wall near lift), where the main bin was, pools, spa and gym locations?
- Dan (9/5): Superb - Location is perfect. Room was small but neat. Facilities were really good.
Enjoyed our stay
- Jamie (8/5): Very good -
- Matt (2/5): Very poor - The toilet did not fill/flush, so I had to use a bucket from the laundry to fill the cistern.
The card slot, to turn on the power is broken. I had to spend the first half hour of my stay trying to work out why there was no power to the kitchen, tv, etc
Half the channels on the tv had audio but no picture
- Darren (2/5): Utterly disappointed with the standard of the room and the number of items that were not working. - the following which was not functioning in the apartment:
• tv and tv power points
• power points in kitchen
• microwave
• washing machine and dryer
• lounge floor lamp
• one of the bedside power points and lamp
- Letitia (8/5): Very good -
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cate (4/5): Disappointing - Location Having to collect and return keys, no wifi, no Foxtel
- Sidonia (3/5): would not stay again - location was very good
breakfast not included cups and cutlery not clean
had to take your own rubbish out and do your own dishes
not happy when charges $140 for cleaning
- Amber (5/5): Passable -
- Graham (8/5): Very good -
- Denley (10/5): Would come again - The location When I had a shower the actual shower head feel off from the cord.
Think the previous people have broken it and then on closer looks they had stuck those tiny rubber bands to keep it secure
- Kerry (9/5): Superb - Location was beautiful, hotel was beautiful and very central to everything. The spa on top of roof and pool
- Justine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Meryl (9/5): Relaxing, peaceful , just what I needed - Very cosy, wonderful facilities , great location Almost everything , everything right there
- Jamie (10/5): Great stay in the heart of Mooloolaba - The location couldn't have been better. As the name states, it's right in the heart of Mooloolaba. Once you park you don't have to drive until you leave. Great facilities and at a bargain price.
- Barbara (5/5): Disappointing - The toilet didn’t flush properly & was dripping constantly
The bed & the toilet we’re far too low
The sliding door handle is not secure
The bedroom sliding shutters are broken
Loud voices from the bars till way past midnight
- Lorna (8/5): Great location, quite - Location location Parking for 4wd not too accommodating
- Jennifer (7/5): Good - Location was great Expensive to eat and Restaurants close very early (8-9pm) considering school holidays, National Sporting event and Thursday to Saturday evenings
- Elizabeth (8/5): Very good -
- Teiringa (8/5): Very good - Location was great
- Madison (8/5): Very good - I loved how the location was next to everything that I needed within a 2-3 minute walk
- Deborah (7/5): Good location, poor views and annoying check-in/check out - Location was great. Spacious for a few night getaway Check-in and checkout was painful - you have to find somewhere to park (which is hard) and walk to a real estate to get the keys and return them. Not sure why they can't have a lockbox on site, just adds an extra annoyance to the trip.
Room cleanliness was ok, but it's clearly very dated/furniture is old. I didn't really want to sit on the couch. The bin had dirt on the outside.
The view was straight on to the pool/ other units meaning there was zero privacy and unfortunately no sheer curtains - so choice was either everyone see straight in or have the curtains closed
- Blake (8/5): Very good -
- Gregory (5/5): Passable - Not much really Bad check in had to go and find keys for the unit, also no WIFI available wasn't good
- Liliana (4/5): Old & outdated apartment in need of renovation - Location was very central, bed comfy, carpark handy. Kitchen was tiny and outdated., could do with a bit of a reno after seeing some of the other apartments in this complex. The TV hardly had any digital channels available so we resorted to watching from our own laptop (ps. The apartment does not have wifi so we had to use our phone to tether). The sliding timber door by the bed was broken, the drapes were hanging off the pelmet. Overall the apartment is quite outdated and requires a few improvements.
- Rhiannon (10/5): simple and straight forward - the pool and the location one of our bedroom door slider things was broken but it didn’t bother us
- Iris (6/5): Would benefit from some maintenance. - The location of the building is excellent - right on the esplanade at the quiet end near the Surf Club. Unit 220 is noisy and poorly maintained. It is on the second floor just above large sliding glass doors which make a lot noise starting early in the morning. The apartment needs a refresh. Walls and doors could do with a paint and cabinetry doors need to be replaced or at least repaired.
- Dimitrios (4/5): Disappointing -
- Paul (8/5): A good location opposite the surf club, walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. - Good location, good value A bit dated
- Steven (10/5): Exceptional -
- Patty (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Ash (9/5): Superb - perfect location, just need a little remodelling
- Gayle (8/5): Top location at the beach - The location on the beach in Mooloolaba. just one bedroom with a tiny kitchen. the layout was great and spacious. it was old and some of the sliding doors weren’t working. a huge step up into the shower via the old spa bath. The fridge was a bar fridge that froze things in the fridge and not the freezer.
- Helen (8/5): Very good -
- Kye (10/5): Exceptional - location not staying long enough
- Lisa (7/5): Good -
