Guest Reviews
- Kylie (2/5): See above - Nothing really, The bathroom was in a shocking state — mould in the shower, a dirty screen, and hair left on the floor. The cleanliness overall was completely unacceptable. There were used items left in the dryer, cupboards that smelled strongly of old food, and visible grime throughout, including ring marks on the coffee table. Even the blanket on the sofa appeared dirty, and the entire place had a musty, unpleasant smell. It was like oh well we’ve rented this out for a night renters please vacate for the night
For a property charging $325 per night, this is simply not good enough. Basic standards of hygiene and presentation were clearly not met. While the listing delivers on the basics (beds and proximity to town), that is where the positives end.
Having travelled extensively, this ranks among the worst accommodations I’ve stayed in. It raises serious questions about whether Booking.com properly vets or monitors the properties listed on its platform.
As a former resident of Bellingen, I expected far better. This felt like a complete rip-off. I would not stay here again under any circumstances and will be seeking a refund.

- Annie (9/5): Very comfortable home and very convenient location to the town. - We loved our stay and the Fullhouse served our needs perfectly. We needed more hand towels for the bathroom and kitchen. But other than that it was fine.
- (Gillian) Sian (5/5): A good central place , but complaints as above. - Nil Provided
Location The gross untidiness outside the main rooms and bedrooms, "garden" ,laundry, outside room.
Difficult to walk past such untidiness.
- Karen (6/5): Pleasent , easy and reasonably priced for a Easter weekend . - Location was outstanding. A short stroll to everything in town including the river. The house had everything to make the stay comfortable. Good size for 2 families to stay together. The double/queen size bed in the front room creaked when any pressure was applied and if you moved in bed that we did not sleep at all the first night. We found a solution by taking the mattress and putting it on the floor and tilting the bed frame against the wall. The second night sleep was great. We left the bed frame upright to help inform the owner they was a problem as when your away - your comfort and sleep is a top priority.
- Kerry (6/5): - Location. size of house was generous Beds old and squeak. No instant coffee as we don’t know how to use coffee machine. A small milk would also be handy
Lamps and bedside tables would also be great
- Leesa (6/5): The location was good. -
- Lindy (7/5): Our stay was enjoyable, host was accomodating , house was comfortable . - Location was great, house was clean. All things required were provided for our purposes Towels were a bit on the thin side but host did provide extra ones, however for just a one night stay we didnt need the extras.
Coffee machine is a bit broken , it still works but took me a while to sort it out
- Vicki (10/5): We would absolutely recommend this little house right behind the Main Street. Very warm and - We had a very enjoyable stay. Cassandra was very accommodating with extra towels, heaters and even cafe/restaurant recommendations!
- Kerry (6/5): -
- Jenny (10/5): A lovely place to stay to attend a wedding. Within walking distance to shops and eateries - Was convenient and close to everyone

- Bron (1/5): - The lady was kind enough to refund my second night Freezing cold. I checked out after one night. Horrible fit out. Unfortunately one of the worst places I’ve stayed at on my 9 week road trip.
- Ieva (7/5): Good value for money - Spacious for our family of six, walking distance to shops, river, basketball court, heaters in all rooms were much appreciated Could do with some TLC but we would not hesitate yo stay there ahain
- Barbara (8/5): -
- Anita (5/5): Passable - The location was good getting around Bellingen. House was a good size for 6 people. The ceiling was dripping (a roof leak?) above the dining table. We couldn't get the air con to work, and it was pretty cold at night (winter). There was only one mirror in the whole house in the bathroom which was difficult for 6 ladies to get ready to go out.
- Susan (5/5): Great location. Shame about the house - Fantastic location, close to town so parked the car and didn't need it all weekend Shabby cheap fixtures. Filthy windows , blinds. Grimey light switches which just really cemented the whole grotty scene.
The host was very accommodating, but sounded like she had too much on to be able to clean thoroughly.
- Tracey (8/5): Location was amazing ! Parking so easy. Cassandra was so so helpful. - Location, spacious The really noisy aluminium bed in the front room. Could do with a little adjustment.
- Rachel (8/5): lovely homely place in a really convenient location - A great property, not flash but really comfy and homely.
We were away for a wedding, would have been good to have found an iron!
- Langbridge (7/5): Good -
- Carl (8/5): Very good -
- Megan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Smith (7/5): Good - Plenty of beds good location tidy and comfortable
- Jenny (8/5): Very good - Clean and tidy. Great communication by the owner.
- Ronald (7/5): For the money I expected a little more. It was a little bit tired inside and could do with some some of the furniture be - Location and cleanliness Bad TVAriel and needs smart TV
Nothing except a bath Matt or towel to stop shower water going all over the floor. 3 people showering so the bath Matt was always sopping wet.
- Paola (8/5): Location, location, location! Comfortable, cosy house close to everything Bellingen has to offer - We really liked the location of the house and the extreme professionalism of the manager Cassandra, who went out of her way to accommodate our needs (and also left a nice bottle of wine and some chocolate for us to enjoy!) Nothing to report here, we have no complaints whatsoever
- Luci (2/5): Awful - Location was close to town centre Dirty
Half renovated
Couldn’t get fully into parking space due to obstructions
Shower flooded the bathroom
Very basic and clever photography
Expensive for very low quality
Spend as little time as possible in the house and left early.
- Nick (3/5): Poor - There was an eerie feeling with this property due to survalence system located in main bedroom, as well 3 dead locks on both front and back door.
The back step was wobbly which caused me to trip whilst holding my baby spraining my ankle.
we woke up to the ceiling leaking in the dining/kitchen causing our belongings on dining room table to get wet. The leak was fixed that day which was appreciated.
There was no TV remote for TV or things that you would expect in accommodation of this size like, dust pan, broom, mop dishwaing tablets. There was a strong smell of mould in the middle bedroom and I believe there is definitely a mould problem with excessive leaking of celiling. There was mould kill under the kitchen sink so obviously an occurring issue. On a whole this property feels like it's falling apart.
- Jacqueline (5/5): Ok. - Location The property hasn’t really been set up yet for quests. The window outside the bathroom over the fire station has no blinds and hence no privacy from the number of people outside. There are no bedside lights or coat hangers available in the rooms and rat traps were left in the kitchen. We were a little concerned by the security footage in the main bedroom and the number of deadbolts on the front and back door. It left us feeling exposed. The house has potential but very expensive for its current state.
