• Nina (3/5): We wouldn’t recommend to book this. - The location was good! There was no hot water and the shower didn’t work. We informed the host about the situation but he didn’t do anything about it. Also we needed to buy our own toilet paper, because there wasn’t enough. Apartment was also cold and some of the heaters didn’t work and had horrible noise. The communication with the host was bad and we received answers only after couple of days

No funcionaba el agua caliente en el baño principal y la calefacción nos costó programarla (al ser generadores de calor) y pasamos frío. Precisa de mayor limpieza y los colchones sin muy finos.

• Disa (6/5): Apartment was fine, but check-in was not - Spacious, good location, price was ok, 2 bathrooms with showers which was convenient for a family of 4. Main complaint is unreliable communication and not enough information, especially during check-in. We received a message the day before check-in that keys would probably be left in a lockbox for us, but no details after that. I messaged about 40 mins prior to our 5:30pm arrival and received no reply. I called the number listed, but it was a former employee's number who no longer works for the company. He gave us the phone number of the current employee, but after we were unable to reach them after 30 mins of phone calls/texts/messages, I reached back out to the former employee. He gave us the old information he had for the apartment, and luckily the information still worked for us so we were able to get in. It had been cleaned and prepared for our arrival, but still no instructions regarding check-in/check-out, wifi info, etc. We didn't end up hearing back from the property until 10pm, so if the former employee had not helped us out, we would have been locked out until then. Other than that, kitchen is very small with no microwave or oven, no dish drying rack and only 1 dish towel provided, showerhead holder in one of the bathrooms is broken, the en suite bathroom has no door, nowhere to hang towels in the bathrooms, no AC and no screens on the windows so we got quite a few mosquito bites, paid street parking is available right across from the apartment, but can be difficult to find a spot.
• Crystal (8/5): Nice big place, just hot in the summer. - This apartment has lots of room, we loved the layout of the place with our five person family everyone had their own beds. Location was good and we were always able to find parking on the street within a short walk. It was hot and with no air conditioning we had to keep windows open and ended up being eaten alive by mosquitoes so we had to keep windows closed the rest of the stay. The kitchen could have used a few more dishes for such a large place and the TV didn't work. We messaged the host and they didn't couldn't help. The second bathroom didn't lock and the shower head has to be held by hand when you shower.

• Vincent (8/5): We had a good weekend but facilities like kitchen, bathroom, lighting, shades, etc. are lacking for a longer stay - Spacious and two bathrooms. Poor facilities and furniture.

• Timothy (10/5): Highly recommend - Easy, affordable, tidy and well located. Perfect accommodation for Ghent especially when you have a bigger group. Lovely host who was in regular communication. About half way between the old town and the train station which is great (15 minutes each way). No issues.

• Kevin (8/5): Great traditional decor appt in which to explore Ghent and surrounding area of Belgium. - Loved the decor and the terrace was a bonus. Small but fairly well equipped kitchen. Bathrooms wouldn't miss a bit of updating. Location was ideal between train station and downtown ghent Bathrooms needed some updating. And the smell from the drains needs some addressing. Upon arrival key wasn't easy to find and despite calling number provided all I got for quite a while was someone talking to what sounded like a tradesperson and not actually answering me who had been on a train for 6 hours and need to get into the apartment with 2 hungry and tired kids. Finally found the keys in a random place. Heard back later in the day. Not ideal.

• Muriël (8/5): It was great! Cozy, pretty and comfortable appartement. - Parking in Gent can be very difficult. the owner of the appartement provided free parking in his garage for us, which was amazing! The couches are a little old.
• Elena (8/5): Very good - Close to the train station. Lots of space and two bathrooms help when you travel with a big family. Not many places to eat around. And it would be useful to have a microwave and a kettle.
