• Sugiura (7/5): 興味深い体験 - 最初、通りの雰囲気(繁華街)に圧倒され、小道に入る所は、本当にココでいいのか、かなり不安だった(治安がいいとは限らないので) ただ過去一、ヤバメな通りに入るワクワク感と住んでいる人の日常を体験できる感じ楽しかった。 ママさんとはとても親切で、アプリで会話したが、重いスーツケースは後で息子が運ぶから、と気遣ってくれた。 自分にとっては特に問題なかったが、 外の隣近所のバーの生ライブの音が丸聞こえ (私はそれを楽しんだが)なので、 静かに眠りたい人にはオススメしない。

• Keith (7/5): A real pleasure in staying in a really local area of downtown Ho Chi Minh no frills but that is what’s it all about. Lov - Location absolutely in the centre of everything. It’s a nice basic little room. Nothing not to like. Just expect it’s small local and quant. The stairs spiral a challenge for suitcases 🤣 small cases only 😁😁😁

• Sarah (9/5): Great stay in a great location with lovely staff - Great location, but does mean you can hear music from the street, however there was some sound proofing to help with this. Hostel was nice and accommodating, letting us leave our bags before we checked in. Room was great with balcony and bed was comfortable Apart from the slight noise, nothing!

• Mohamed (10/5): Excellent location in walking street - Everything was perfect, it's just in heart of district 1 and walking street many restaurant,bars and mini Mart with a walking distance, we came as transit for 2 nights on our 2 way ticket perfect place for short stay, the owners are so friendly and very helpful through Google translate:) rooms are very clean and tidy bed is hard a bit but ok good air-conditioning and clean toilet with excellent hot water. Bus station to airport is not far 15 minutes walk near the big market. If you coming for 1 or 2 nights this place is highly recommend no noise at all from the bars from the walking street. Have great Vietnamese coffee in the lobby. Thanks Ms. Hoe for this great accomdation. Nothing
• Raquel Paul Plaza (10/5): Muy muy recomendable, perfecta experiencia - Aunque está cerca de una calle con discotecas y música, en la habitación se duerme sin ruido. Los caseros son muy atentos y con ayuda del traductor podemos hablar. El wifi va muy bien. Una habitación por planta y un baño en la escalera para cada habitación. Fuera del hotel hay supermercados y el Grab llega en segundos casi. Cama cómoda y limpia. Cambian toallas todos los días y sábanas cada 3 días aproximadamente. Ofrecen servicio de lavandería. Ducha con buena presión y agua caliente. Muchas gracias por todo. 🥰 El callejón para entrar da un poco de miedo pero cuando te acostumbras, está bien. No ponen champú y gel. No hablan inglés pero nos entendemos bien con el traductor. No hay ascensor y son varias plantas (afortunadamente me dejaron estar en la primera planta).

• Maria Del Carmen (10/5): Excelente - Estuvimos como en casa. Muy céntrico, no se escucha ruidos en la habitación a pesar de estar cerca de una calle ruidosa. Todo muy limpio. Lo que más nos gustó el trato de los propietarios, muy agradables, nos ayudaron en muchas cosas. Repetiría sin dudarlo si vuelvo a ho chi Minh.
• VALERY (10/5): Бюджетный вариант в центре Хошимина - Мы приехали ночью, заранее списались с хозяйкой, и она пошла нам на встречу, ждала нас ночью и взяла плату только за полдня. Мы были три дня, каждое утро угощала нас кофе. Самый центр Хошимина. На каждом этаже 1 комната и один санузел. Матрас очень удобный, жёсткий, кровать двуспальная. Есть балкон - покурить, повесить вещи. На шаг шириной. Но соседний дом на расстоянии вытянутой руки ( так там строят). В комнате чайник, чашки, холодильник, телевизор, стол с зеркалом и стол с офисным стулом, стойка-вешалка. Окно не прозрачное ( как писала выше, смотреть на соседний дом нет смысла) окно и балконная дверь с шумоизоляцией. Т.к. главная тусовочная улица каждый вечер часов до 5 гуляет очень громко. Кондиционер работает четко. В душе есть гель и шампунь. Положили нам одноразовые зубные щетки. Есть шлёпанцы. Полотенца и туалетная бумага. Хозяева очень услужливые. Через переводчик советовались с ними. А ещё такси нас изначально привез не туда и хозяин пришел за нами за 2 квартала( сами не нашли бы, тем более в час ночи). Если вы ожидаете условия и услуги 3-4* отеля, то вам не сюда. Для homestay это отличный вариант.

• Ruslan (10/5): Exceptional - I'm from Russia. This is my first hotel in Vietnam and I was lucky, I arrived late earlier than necessary and I was well received, these are good kind people, I liked it, I recommend to everyone who comes to Saigon to stay in this hotel!
• Garrett (10/5): Wish I was staying longer - The family is friendly and made sure I had everything I needed to feel comfortable. The location is right in the centre of the action, and still you can come home to a quiet room. I thought the writing desk and mini fridge were nice touches for someone who stayed seven nights.

• Stacy (10/5): Overall, I think the hospitality makes up for the negatives of this property! - The service and family there were so nice, we had to get them some gifts before departing! We were only there for 2-3 days and had some troubles with check-in time. They waited until 3am for us to check in and were also open to holding our luggage a bit longer on the day we left! We had our sheets changed once upon request. There was very good air conditioning and a fridge included in our room, wifi is included. There were tiny bugs on the floor but they were barely noticeable and there was not an overwhelming amount of them. The bathroom was also in a different room than our bedroom but it was on a private floor.

• Mcmillan (8/5): A pleasant stay. - My host Thang and his family were really helpful. The room was basic, but the price very good, a great location, I was a solo traveller' but it met my needs I would go back again. It can be a little noisy but I still slept well. You are close to Walking Street so if you can put up with a little noise go and enjoy it. I am going to return.
• Dahlia (8/5): Very good - Good location, close to walking street and walkable distance to main attractions. AC works well. Owner is nice and waited for me to check in when my flight is arriving late evening. The bathroom is not directly connected to the room, it's across the hallway and is not air conditioned so you get hit with the heat and humidity every time you leave your room. The doors are covered in foam for sound and temperature insulation, but it's inevitable you can still hear some music from walking street. Staircase is quite narrow and steep.
• Gary (1/5): Filthy and in poor repair - The owners. The location. There is no Mrs Hoa, just a young couple running a 3 bedroom / 3 bathroom apartment accommodation 100 metres off of buy Vien street. Although I hesitate writing this I feel I should warn people what to expect. Extremely dirty bathroom and fridge (see pictures). Room and bathroom in poor repair. Air conditioning is not good. VERY noisy at night from nightclubs only a few metres away. Bugs in the bed but they did not seem to bite me. Not what I expected when looking at and booking on booking .com. probably the dirtiest place I ever stayed and I travel around the world every year. Super nice people but they seem to have no standards. Pictures are totally inaccurate and reviews are fraudulent. There is NO WAY this accommodation should be rated Fabulous. LOOK AT MY ATTACHED PICTURES FOR PROOF.

I did sleep with earplugs because noise from bar street was a bit too loud and music stops just around 3 am in the morning but that's what you can expect staying so close to the night clubs and bars .The room was ok for the price I paid for 2 nights but I would not stay there for a week

• Psilva (8/5): A clean, quiet and affordable homestay near Bui Vien street. Good for short solo/couples stays. - Superb location, just 2 min away from Bui Vien walking street, and still quiet during the night the night, probably because it is in a secondary alleyway and a bit harder to find. The owners were welcoming and attentive, and they also have a very friendly dog that greets you upon arrival. The room had A/C, comfortable beds and the bedsheets were clean. The bathroom was separate, but for the exclusive use of my room. Toiletries and towels were provided. The ventilation was a bit poor, but not to the point it felt uncomfortable or detrimental. The rooms are located on the upper floors and are only accessible by stairs. Otherwise, the homestay is cosy, convenient and affordable.

All what I need I had on my room. Sh 4. Amazing little dog - very nice, kind friendly little fluffy - owner's dog. 5. Manager - very attentive and helpful host , he helped me not only when I checked in, but also when I left and organized a great and inexpensive transfer. I'm so happy. OK I’m very grateful to him

• Manuucha (10/5): Exceptional - The hosts and their hospitality are a 10/10—they are incredibly friendly and warm. In fact, we arrived early, and they already had the room ready for us to check in upon arrival, which we really appreciated. The room is exactly as advertised—clean and with a private bathroom located outside the room. However, this wasn’t an issue since there are no other rooms on the same floor. The accommodation is well-located, surrounded by restaurants, mini-markets, bars, and everything you might need, all within walking distance of the city’s main attractions. It’s a nightlife area, so there can be music until late at night, but this wasn’t a problem for us since the room was quite soundproof. We would definitely stay here again! • Laura (8/5): Very good - Simple and clean accommodation in the heart of HCM. The host is super kind and helpful. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The room is very close to a clubbing street, so there is noise in the evening until late, make sure you have earplugs

• Kate (10/5): Great stay in Saigon - This is a perfect place to stay in Saigon. Great location walking distance to lots of city sights. The bus stop from/to the airport is a few minutes walk away. The room was clean, good AC & a fridge too! The family are very kind, friendly & helpful. I'd definitely recommend this Ms Hoa. The bed is quite hard but I think is normal.
• Leanne (6/5): Excellent Location - Location was great. Water pressure & hot water was excellent. Nice size balcony. Bed was comfortable. Fridge was cold. Shower is not in the room, it's across the hallway. Bed was a bit on the harder side of Vietnamese beds. Lots of steps, 50 to the room that I was in. A bit noisy with Walking Street so close but ear plugs were sufficient. None of these points can be changed but I'm just making these points for fellow travellers.
• Joe (8/5): Very good - Ms Hao was lovely and helpful. An extra fan in the room would have helped but enjoyed my stay nonetheless! Effectively an en suite as you have a whole floor to yourself.

• Michael (8/5): Nice stay in Saigon - Clean room, desk, fridge and bathroom. There is even a balcony where you can hang your clothes. The host is very kind even though we can’t communicate in the same language. It can be noisy at night due to proximity to Bui Vien street, so better be prepared with earplugs. Confusing small alleys but you get used to it.
• Samuel (10/5): Exceptional - At Homestay Ms Hoa I had a lovely guest house experience right in the middle of Saigon. Ms Hoa is so kind and welcoming, and helped me with anything I needed. I could not recommend staying here enough, for me the warmth of a guest house definitely beats staying at a hotel or backpackers. It is close to the clubs and sights of District 1, but tucked away enough for peace and relaxation. The rooms are very clean, and comfortable.

Safe environment, room is large and AC worked well. Literally behind the Bui Vien Walking Street, walk to just about everything. Very clean and nothing is too much trouble for the hosts. Nothing.

• Fonseca (10/5): Absolutely lovely - Ms. Hoa is such a nice and lovely lady. The first day I got there way before the check-in time and she took me in, made me coffee, gave me some Vietnamese snacks. Also recommended some restaurants to me. Her husband is also super super helpful as I had at least 35kg in luggage and was staying the in 3rd floor but when I came back to home stay for the check-in he already took the bags to the room and did the same thing when I left. Although they speak little to no English Ms. Hoa will grab her Google translator app in a heartbeat to communicate and try to help you. They really made a good impression on me for someone that visited Vietnam for the first time. Also the house is inside an alley which can be daunting at first as cars can’t get in. I attached a pic of it, you just go straight, turn right and straight again for I think like 4/5 doors then you’ll see a house with an electronic handle. That’s the one ! It is a bit noisy at night because it’s near the walking street (not as bad as you’d think, just some muffled singing noises). And the stairs are a bit narrow so be careful not to fall.

• Scott (9/5): Excellent accommodation close to Bui Vien street . - Fantastic Homestay style accommodation conveniently located down a small laneway close to Bui Vien street bars and restaurants.Room was good size ,very clean and had air conditioning , television, fridge and bathroom with hot shower plus a small balcony . Friendly helpful hosts ( and their cute dog ) made for a hassle free stay . *Please note that you will hear some music from the clubs and bars playing at night but for me it was no hassle and I slept well .
