• Aaliyah (8/5): Beautiful view - Beautiful view! Especially from the bedroom. Main reason why I loved it so much. Small but a perfect amount of space for me, partner & 2 small kids. Everything you need is nearby so you don’t really have to leave. Very dusty (clearly showed on fans etc), utensils/pots were very outdated & budget. Pots/pans were cheap & scratched which is toxic but had to make do with what we had. Wish there were more cooking utensils (pots etc). Milk in fridge was expired too.

• brian (4/5): Will never use booking .com again if that is how you work through a third party. - The view. Getting the key. Were given the wrong information. If knew there was a third contact we would not of booked through you. We are in our 70s and ended up going to 4 different places before we got the keys. Not good. Not where they first told us.

• Janine (4/5): Will never stay here again. Plenty of other hotels that are similarly priced where you don’t need a map to find a car pa - The location to everything we needed. Where do we start. Keys were not at reception and had to go to a different hotel to collect and were not in the locked box. Hosts didn’t answer on first call, so communicated via text & 45 mins later keys were eventually located and given to us. We parked in the casino car park and were told the residences have a Flat fee of $20 which we thought we would verify with reception. Reception then informed us that it was only $20 if booked through the residences and it ended up costing us $60! Room was clean but average. Sliding balcony doors were dirty. Certainly not $360 plus. Every step of the process was a hassle. Can’t imagine not having a car and having to drag your suitcases across a busy highway after key collection!

• Shanelle (8/5): - Property was very close to location of what we were needing. Clean and accommodating. Hard to find property even with directions. It all depends where you park. Single bed very uncomfortable and rocky. Aircon was hard to work out and didn’t seem like it was working.

• Luke (1/5): Absolutely crap - Nothing Lifts took 30mins to arrive to take you upstairs and the whole set up by the owner was very confusing and ruined my holiday.

Expensive parking, walking to anywhere takes ages due to multiple red lights, high density with inadequate lifts (takes forever to get a lift to get down), reception won't be helpful because the booking isn't direct from the property

I would not recommend this place to anybody, it ruined - Location The cleaning staff came at 10.15am and were very direct, very strict and told us to leave within 10mins. Despite the fact we arrive quite late previous night about 9.30pm and I requested a late check out, the cleaner was forceful and only concerned about the amount of time he and his staff had to clean the property and others he had to do that same morning.

Property was great but if you book through a third party you can not get help leaving your bags as they will not hold them for you. To check in you need to go across the road to get the key. A little inconvienient.

• Caitlyn (5/5): Not worth the money we paid. - Convenient location. Close to Casino, Broadbeach & Pacific Fair. First of all having to pick up the key from a 7/11 store that was on the opposite side of the main road wasn’t ideal. When we booked we were under the impression we were booking a 2 bedroom apartment. When we arrived, it was one bedroom and what seems to be an offset to the kitchen, where two single beds have been placed. There was no windows in the makeshift bedroom and when the door was closed it was like you were trapped in a dark cave. I don’t think it’s appropriate to advertise this apartment as two bedrooms. Floor was disgusting and shoes had to be worn the whole time.

It needs more pillows as the ones they have are very soft and only 1 per person. Only one key is issued, 2 would be great as in our case we had conflicting schedules. You can’t get to the apartment without lift access.

• Christina (7/5): Good - Parking is a bit of a problem. On the weekend it goes up to $70 to park at Star overnight. So you need to factor that into the price. If you book thru Star, they give you a reduced rate for parking.

The beds in the second room had no top sheet and the duvet covers did not feel fresh. There were lots of basic things missing eg detergent. Professionalism was missing.

Would have preferred to pay more a - Great location, great view Only 1 key was provided for 3 adults. Which is ridiculous!! Parking was wildly expensive in the casino because the room wasn’t booked through the star, more like an air bnb situation on bookings.com which is not advertised. Unable to use main Dorsett pool facilities. The second bedroom is more like a study - no windows. The main bedroom didn’t have a doona cover or a second side table / lamp. The shower flooded whenever someone had a shower as it didn’t drain properly. Small, thin towels. Only 1 broken dishwashing tablet was provided for 3 days. No washing up liquid, no cleaning spray for benches and less than a scoop of washing power was provided. The Netflix on the tv was in Japanese language and we were unable to change it. There was a thick layer of dust on the top shelf in the main bedroom. Tidy but not really clean.

• Cossey (9/5): Superb - It was great for access to casino for elderly mum Only annoying thing was only having one swipe between 3 people as you need it for lift but we learnt that you can access floor one going down and take escalator up to casino etc but need to wait for some one come down to take you up to level 25. I messaged the host and they responded straight away and explained that if we pay $100 bond he would send another swipe but seem we only had couple more days. So if you booking for 3 people make sure you ask to include in booking don't take it for granted.
• Natalie (6/5): Lovely and clean in a great location. Just don’t expect to park your car for a fair price. - The location was very good. Parking is terrible. It is not explained properly prior to booking. If you book through booking.com you don’t get the $20 a day flat rate for parking, you have to pay hourly, which is in excess of $60 per night.

• Courtney (8/5): We attended the BBL game at Heritage stadium - Rooms neat and tidy It was not advertised that we did not access to the main outdoor pool. Very disappointing as that was the whole reason for booking the hotel.
