- Tracy (6/5): An experience! - I liked the idea of staying in a private cottage rather than a hotel for this particular stay.
The courtyard garden ideal as the weather was good.
I had the option of walking straight in to the garden from the lounge out through the French doors. Easy. Or even have the doors open for some fresh air whilst relaxing indoors.
It had a bath so it was great to think of relaxing in after a 5 hour journey from train tube, and bus journey. The host was available via WhatsApp should I need to query or ask anything which made me feel at ease whilst residing at the property. She was always quick to respond which I feel is important when you are in unfamiliar surroundings and need some support. I had booked for 3 nights to stay at this charming cottage with all its facilities and paid for my train ticket there after.
Unfortunately due to some urgent work that needed attending to at the property I was unable to stay for the 3rd night which was such a disappoinment to me as I had especially treated myself to something far more luxurious than I would normally have done for myself. However the host has been fair to offer me some sort of refund for my disruptive stay.
- GazzerB (10/5): Absolute perfect house, in brilliant location to enjoy London. - The house is located perfectly for sightseeing in London, as it is very close to Buckingham Palace, Sloan Square,, Harrods’ and Hyde Park areas. Perfect location as a base for enjoying London. The host was very helpful, and answered all questions and even recommended some lovely restaurants nearby. The house is a three storey 2 bed with a bathroom for each bedroom, which was lovely as it gives each bedroom its own floor and bathroom, so each floor enjoys its own space, plus a lovely living room with a beautiful massive settee, and kitchen, with private rear garden area to relax. A perfect house in a perfect location to enjoy London !! Plus there is good parking at Q Park Pimlico, only 5 min walk, with fast EV Chargers.

- Dirk (3/5): Wohngegend Top, Haus Flop! Überteuert!!! Leider auch an einer lauten Straße plus Großbaustelle - Die Wohngegend war gut. Zum Haus:
Das Haus war voll geräumt mit privaten Dingen der Besitzerin. Überall standen Gegenstände und Kartons. die Schubladen in allen Räumen waren voll mit Kosmetik oder anderen Gegenständen. Für uns vier Personen standen nur zwei kleine Kleiderschränke zur Verfügung. Den Staubsauger konnte man nicht zurück in den kleinen Abstellraum stellen, weil dieser bis zur Decke voll mit Schmutzwäsche war. Überall in den Ecken war Schmutz, die Küchenschrank Fronten waren fleckig und beschmutzt.
Im Waschbecken (Küche) fehlte der Stöpsel und man konnte nicht abwaschen. Die Fenster gingen zum Teil nur zur Hälfte auf oder waren nicht verschließbar. Ebenfalls länger nicht gereinigt. Die Fensterläden waren zum Teil kaputt.
Im Badezimmer half die hübsche Deko leider nicht über die ganzen Mängel hinweg. Auch hier fehlte der Waschbecken Verschluss. Der Duschvorhang war schimmelig und die Wände fleckig. Der Teppichboden im Treppenhaus war ebenfalls fleckig. Im Garten waren die Beete ungepflegt, in einem lag Müll. Der Brunnen mit Wasserbecken ging nicht, war auch eher eine Pfütze mit Algen bewachsen.
Es hätte nichts gebracht, sich zu beschweren. Wo sollten wir hin? Die Vermieterin sagte im Nachgang, dass wir hätten was sagen sollen. Aber selbst wenn nochmals eine Reinigungskraft gekommen wäre, hätte es nicht ausgereicht alle anderen Mängel zu beheben.
Zur Übergabe/Ankunft:
Wir waren früher als erwartet da. Hatten eine Ankunftszeit vereinbart. Die Putzfrau war noch vor Ort und meinte, dass sie noch mindestens zwei Stunden benötigt. Also sind wir eine Stunde nach der vereinbarten Zeit wieder zur Unterkunft gegangen. Dort war immer noch Chaos und ich habe dann geholfen und schon mal gestaubsaugt, damit wir irgendwann in die Wohnung können.
Die Vermieterin sagte zwar, dass wir schon rein können, aber wie sollten wir? Überall war noch Chaos und wir wären nur im Weg gewesen.
Zur Info: Einige Parks in der Nähe sind geschlossen oder für Hunde verboten.

Proximity to Belgravia shops and Sloan Square is a massive win. Easy to get in, stocked with everything you want. Great living space to hang out.
