• Steph Lloyd (10/5): Lovely apartment perfect for a couple. Pool, Beach, Cafe's and bars on the edge of local community. - We were met by Caroline at the property complex entrance. Our arrival was a couple of hours later than planned to to the airline, but Caroline was great at communication and happy to be flexible. She showed us all the facilities and tips for the stay including back-up water should the supply fail. Drinking water has to be bottled - the supply to taps is certainly not suitable to drink. Apartment was in a great location near to the local community, cafes, bars and a great patisserie on the corner of the square. As a private apartment in an otherwise 'Hotel' complex, you dont get access to cushions for the ample sun loungers, but we bought (and left in the apartment) a couple of lilo's which are great. Super little secluded beach right out front of the pool. Thanks Thierry and Carolina for a lovely stay - we hope to come again.
• Roberto (9/5): Capo Verde is Africa. Don't expect european standards but is a true experience - Carolina, who is managing the apartment, is great, puts passion in her job and was very helpful. The position of the apartment is perfect and very near to the heart of Santa Maria. You can use the facilities of the residence (swimming pools, private beach,... Consider that there are stairs from the bedroom to the main floor that can be unconfortable especially during the night

• pawel jaszczak (8/5): Super tydzień w Santa Maria - Bardzo dobra lokalizacja basen ocean za oknem w obiekcie ochrona i czysty sprzątany zadbany basen jak na Afrykę bardzo pozytywne wrażenia Apartament w samym centrum przy deptaku wszystko na wyciągnięcie ręki bardzo zadowolony z tej lokalizacji Wszystko było ok więc nie mam zastrzeżeń
• Alain (8/5): - Trèsbien situé, face à la mer et proche des restaurants. L'appartement est à l'intérieur de l'hôtel Porto Antigo 1, avec accès à l'infrastructure de l'établissement. L'équipement de l'appartement est vieillot. La télévision ne marche pas, il manque un micro-ondes.

• marijke (10/5): Rustig gelegen en toch dicht bij strand en centrum - Het appartement lag voor ons op de perfecte locatie. Dicht bij het strand en redelijk dicht bij winkels en goede restaurants en toch niet midden in de drukte. Het appartement is leuk ingericht en de eigenaar moet ook de gastvrouw zijn beiden erg behulpzaam geweest. Hoewel het overdekte terras lekker zit en de hangmat erg goed beviel, vonden wij het zitten binnen niet zo comfortabel. Bij de bank is geen klein tafeltje en de barkrukken zitten niet echt lekker.
• Filsil10 (8/5): Our review in Porto Antigo Loft - We really like the location in Porto Antigo, not busy or noisy and close to the main street, supermarket/restaurants. Everything surrounding our apartment and the hotel Porto Antigo is very pretty and relaxing, there is a pool available and an almost private beach, good for windy days, only a few steps away from the apartment. Carolina was our host, super friendly and always available when we needed any information. Things to improve, definitely the main bed, a better bed frame and mattress would be highly recommended and the shower is a little temperamental, hot water doesn't last long... We would come back to this place :)
• Amy (10/5): Wonderful apartment in Santa Maria - everything you would need for a relaxing holiday. - The apartment was perfectly located and Carolina who hosted us was really helpful and friendly. The apartment had everything we needed and more, and it was so nice to have our own space in Santa Maria. I would highly recommend staying here. The only small issue was that the shower hot water could be a bit temperamental (not much hot water would come out of the shower head) - but other than that everything was perfect.
• Joao (8/5): There are better hosts in nicer apartments in Porto Antigo 1 - Spacious, comfortable, well located in Porto Antigo 1. Even had a hammock that I really enjoyed. I had a great time. There are better hosts in nicer apartments in Porto Antigo 1. I had to pay in cash in local currency, which meant several trips to the atm as the maximum daily withdrawal amount is 200€. Host told me to checkin later than the time on booking, although I had booked with more than 24h in advance. Checkout was stressful as the cleaning lady was anxious to enter the apartment at 10AM, although my checkout was at 12 according to booking. There are other apartments also in Porto Antigo 1 that are managed by the hotel or Bobbywashere and that have better services (easier check-in and check-out, cleaner, everything) and some are actually cheaper and even have sea-view. I recommend Hotel Porto Antigo 1 or Bobbywashere.
