Guest Reviews
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Good place close to railway station Nothing
- Tia (9/5): Would highly recommend this property! - Lovely location! Great host, left us a few bits such as food and drinks which was a lovely touch! Was a lovely property just needed a mop of the floors, maybe a fan provided and some bedside lights! Also just a bit of a smell from the second shower, could do with being aired! But these things are just minor, the stay was lovely and such a great host! Thanks so so much
- Nikhilrg (6/5): Pleasant - Location, it is nice and closer to bus stand and train station. The beds, both beds were not comfortable at all and had a back pain due to defective springs in the beds.
Also there were very few kitchen accessories, utensils available. Like proper pan, utensil for cooking food, glasses to drink the water. Utensil drying cabinet etc.
- Núria (7/5): Good - I left my phone charger in the apartment and was told that the cleaning company keeps lost items. I’ve requested their contact information, as I live nearby and could easily pick it up, but I haven’t received any response yet.
- Bruce (6/5): it was ok as we spent little time in the flat - location good you really need to sort some small things - the mattresses - you feel the springs; the bathroom smell has been mentioned several times before - drains need sorting and the bathroom generally - the lock on the door is hanging, loose tiles around the shower fell on my foot,; trickle vent on the window fallen off to be repaired; broken bits of wood above the door etc. Just go look at it and you will see what I mean. No large jobs, but would make a difference.
- Charles (3/5): Could do with a little owner attendance rather than just sending in cleaners. - Location The pillows were paper thin. Contacted the host. No answer.
Bed was uncomfortable.
No trap in the shower. The place smelled of drains.
12 plates. 3 forks????
- Chelsea (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanna (4/5): Disappointing - The area was very loud and the room was dusty. The shower was blocked
- Avishek (2/5): Very poor -
- Sara (6/5): Pleasant -
- Benjamin (10/5): Good size 2 bedroom flat close to Clapham junction and journey into central London. - Good size rooms with close links to Clapham junction station Was sufficient for our needs
- Katie (7/5): Good - Great situation, easy to collect keys, well equipped apartment there was a very bad 'drain smell ' in the apartment, especially in the 2nd shower, and the door yale key is very temperamental
- Louise (8/5): Brilliant location, very easy to collect the keys. - Location is excellent. Very quiet at night so had a very good sleep. It was confusing getting into the flats. The entrance to the block looks like another front door. Had neighbours not pulled up when they did, I would not have had a clue how to get into the flats.
- Missj410 (7/5): Good - Spacious rooms, good bathrooms and nice kitchen. Dining room and living room are too small for four people. Beds should be suplied with more sheets, blanketts and better pillows.
- Victoria (5/5): Ok considering we just used the flat for breakfast and sleep. Up early and back late. - The location. The smell of poor drainage, the fan in the bathroom didn’t work. Lack of towels to dry glasses etc. only 2 bowls for breakfast when the flat holds up to 4 people. Mattresses need replacing.
- Fabio (8/5): Very good - Very good Nice
- Thomas (1/5): Shocking. - There was mould around the property it was dirty the sheets didn’t even fit the bed. The shower also didn’t drain so you couldn’t have a wash. I had to book my two contractors a second hotel and this property have ignored all my message about the mess and what they are going to do about it.
- I (10/5): Exceptional - We have really enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend it!
- Melody (3/5): Horrible stay - The location was good with lots of food area The place was really dirty and it had a horrible smell. We informed the host & he did not respond
- Festus (10/5): Exceptional -
- Philip (10/5): Great property in great location - Great location and great host. It was perfect. Maybe just needs an iron but other than that great property.
- Chile (6/5): Pleasant -
- Temitope (7/5): Good -
- Jason (1/5): Disappointed with the property not worth the money and not what was advertised - Not much at all was good about the property It was dirty with a very bad smell that we could not get rid of there was no tv so at night there was nothing to do
There were bare minimum cooking utensils not even a cheap toaster
- Nkechi (7/5): Good - Location was ideal, local shops, supermarkets train station plus nice neighbourhood peaceful and accessible with small local park to stroll as well as safe Independent car park area. Would likely book again but would bring a few items to use for myself next time but was reasonably clean, plus we felt very safe and well rested. There were a few issues that seemingly couldn't be helped by the owner sadly, one was a very poor drainage system. Unsanitary smell which we tried to mask during our stay with scented but was strong and immediate on corridor entry as you pass the shower/bathroom, also in the kitchen and unfortunately couldn't use kettle because of it so had to use local high street coffee shop & purchased large bottles of drinking water too. Wasn't ideal using mop & bucket or washing machine. Trains were loud & constant but as we were there over bank holiday weekend it could have been a lot worse. Second smaller bedroom had loose broken curtain pole rail and no working radiator so wrapped up warm, whilst larger main one was fine but found bed uncomfortable.
- Deborah (4/5): The flat did not live up to its description or potential. - Quiet neighbourhood, leafy views, key pick up good, not overlooked, excellent proximity to local transportation including Clapham Junction Station and buses to other main stations and London tourist spots. There were working smoke alarms and fire blanket and small fire extinguisher although no welcome pack with instructions for how things worked in the flat. Clean towels and bedding although the bases were scruffy and the springs pinged. Complaint never replied to during stay and further things came to light as we waited for reply.
No indication from outside of building where Flat 3 was. Tried key to middle door on ground floor of block with no number or information in place. The entrance lobby was shabby, dirty old hall carpet and two flights of stairs to climb to an open door onto a balcony and Flat 3 on the right side. Door lock low grade and insecure.
Entering flat there was a strong drainage smell with several air fresheners inmost rooms. The bathroom door had flood damage and the bottom half is blown and rotten, disgusting.
The shower cubicle drain hole had dirty water in and stank, the toilet brush was filthy and sat in a pool of excrement coloured water. Chrome ware was rusting. The sink had no open/close plug fitted. The windows in the flat could only be opened a fraction ( for safety no doubt) so couldn’t air sufficiently. Surface of shower very slippery. Extraction fan was filthy.
The second toilet as per description did not exist and was a shower also unpleasant smelling despite two air fresheners. The shower hose had no wall fixing.
In the smaller bedroom a huge bright orange security light glowed intensely all night long.
The curtains were pushed through the curtain pole and had to be yanked to open and close, hence the pole fixing is coming away from the pole.No accessible socket as at the side of the wardrobe.
Although there were some cooking utensils there was no paring knife, colander, bread knife. The frying pan was dirty and there was no plug for the sink.
The lounge leads into the kitchen, it’s not separate as described.
In fact, the general impression is one of neglect. It needs an update. The cupboard housing the gas boiler had the base of the boiler detached and three tins of paint stored there, a fire hazard. We removed to outside balcony for the duration of our stay.
The light switch for the kitchen needs indicating, its location is not obvious at all.
- Serena (8/5): Great stay for a family in a top London location - Top location and fully fitted apartment. Great value for money and for a family of 4. Host is fast and helpful. It could have been cleaner...
- Tomáš (7/5): Good - Both beds, towels and floor were realy clean. Good size, proposition and location of the apartment. It was realy very hard to operate swolled bathroom door. Walls in the kitchen, should be repainted. All windows should be cleaned. On photos apartment looked better. Beds were uncomfortable (acording to us), maybe other guests are satisfied, but we could feel strings in those mattresses.
- Valentina (9/5): Superb - The position was good, the apartment had everything you need, it was clean and warm Please fix the bathroom door it's almost impossible to close and we struggled with privacy
