• Kecskés (10/5): Friendly, clean, relaxing, beautiful. - The apartment was perfectly clean, modern, well equipped, and comfortable. The kitchen was easy to use, practical, well equipped. A microwave oven would've been nice, but the induction stove was a good substitute. We enjoyed the view while having dinner next to the window. The hosts are extremely friendly and communicative. We managed to talk in German, even though I barely speak it. The host met us in front of the house, and showed us the apartment. He was very helpful with program suggestions, and general orientation (best places to visit, bus lines, stores, restaurants, cities, public transport discount system for tourists, etc.). The noise of the nearby road was not an issue (I am quite sensitive to noise), the apartment is soundproofed. The heat was not a problem either, even after a long day out, the room was not much warmer than when we left. Middle of June, sunny weather. Sankt Gilgen is a beautiful, calm little town, every corner is a sight to see. It is a great central location to visit all the nearby lakes. The stores are well stocked, and it is just as easy to get around on foot, as with the car. Our default night-time activity was a stroll in the town-center, and on the lakeside.

• Quang (10/5): Good stay, great host, but bad booking.com - From booking.com I had the same problem with booking.com. Very bad communication, never have a good answer for me, even the message say they’ll get back to me within 48hours, I needed the answer as soon as possible. Compared with Air BnB they let me communicate with the host almost immediately, not in 48 hours. Booking.com is good for booking flights, but NO good to make reservation for vacation home at all… sorry, but this is my experience. Your business (booking.com) is terrible in terms of customer service. You need to change the way your business has been doing, make customer get so frustrated. As soon as I checked in and communicated with the host, the host did not know what I was asking for even I asked several times before I arrived to try changing my booking. If you keep doing the same way with no change, you don’t have good business at all.
