• Matthew (8/5): - The apartment was warm and comfortable for our stay. Its located near Malcom X subway station which made it easy to explore the city. We found a great cafe and bakery with delicious cookies not too far away. There is a grocery a couple of minutes away if you want to cook food at the apartment.

• Barbara (8/5): - Very quiet, easy access to buses, good food stores nearby, very clean, kitchen well equipped. Communication with Carmichael was always prompt. Another comfortable chair in living area. There were no serving bowls or platters and few glasses. It would have been helpful to have a book of recommended restaurants and nearby places of interest or a book for guests to write in about their recommendations.

• Olivier (7/5): Très bon séjour dans le logement et hôte réactif - Appartement spacieux, très calme, très bien équipé, disposant de grands placards et du wifi. La proximité de 2 stations de métro avec des lignes différentes permet des déplacements faciles. Le propriétaire répond rapidement aux questions. L’accès au logement n’a pas été aisé car, sur le site, il y avait une adresse pour récupérer la clé dans une boîte puis une autre pour le logement ( une rue derrière). Cependant cette deuxième adresse correspondait à un immeuble abandonné, ce qui nous a généré du stress et le recours au service client. Le logement se situe finalement dans l’immeuble où on récupère la clé. Les indications manquent de clarté et peuvent porter à confusion.

• Rafael (3/5): Deceptive, dishonest listing leads to really substandard stay - The room was billed as quiet, and it was quiet. The ad was deceptive from the very first...the address supplied with the ad is NOT the address of the unit. DON'T LIE IN YOUR AD! GIVE THE ACTUAL ADDRESS! As the company knows, that neighborhood east of Morningside Park is very block by block. The actual building is on a block that is not as nice, on a rat-infested block. Rats the size of kittens scampered across the entranceway nonstop. When the ad gave the address, I checked the block, because I needed proximity to the Cathedral of St John the Divine. The address supplied was closer to the cathedral, the actual address of the unit was not, critical for my elderly parents. To have the brass to mention "Free Parking" on the ad is astonishing...not technically a lie but heavily deceptive. I had to park several blocks away from the unit, after long slow rides up an down blocks of cars parked bumper to bumper. We booked for the weekend of the Five Boro Bike Ride, which ran up Powell Boulevard. But, hey, no problem, because the address in the ad was WEST of Powell Blvd. The ACTUAL address of the unit, however, was EAST of Powell, you should have seen my father trying to cross a bicycle race with a walker! The entrance was well-lit, and kind of dirty, which I could overlook because the unit was clean. When I wrote to ask why I booked a unit at one address, and the email correspondence was referring to another address, I NEVER got a reply to my query...now I know why. Since I never got a response, and was given an address to pick up the key from the lockbox, I got the key, and headed to the address in the booking, to find the key didn't open anything. The phone number provided did not answer. I finally was able to raise someone on the WhatsApp, when I found out the unit address was the lockbox address, that there was no parking space, and that I was going to have to unload two people in their 80s and all our luggage in the middle of the street. Nearly 800 bucks for this? Ridiculous.

• Esad (10/5): Exceptional - Check in smooth, host responsive. They have a WhatsApp chat where they quickly answer any of your question. Everything was working well, I had some worries regarding past reviews, but looks like they fixed everything. Connection to transport is amazing, subway to Times square 2 min walking, a Central Park is steps away. The area is quite animated and Bohemian at night ...didn't feel unsafe and it does not bother me , cause I know how New york, but it could be impressive for a family with young kids coming from a wealthy gated community.
• Gael (10/5): I would stay here again. Great value! - The team is super responsive. Clean and quiet apartment, perfect base to visit the city. Very close to the subway and the park for a my morning coffee.
• Jonathan (7/5): Everything was fine. It was just as advertised. We got what we paid for. - We were just happy to lie down and sleep. We appreciated the separate bedrooms and it was easy to find parking right in front. Even with the video tutorial we struggled for a few minutes to find the door because instructions indicated the address was *** not ***_***. It's a little uncomfortable to look like lost tourists with luggage late at night in Harlem. Also I think the ps3 is broken.
• Kayla (1/5): Awful. - No hot water for any showers. Dirty sponge and towel in the kitchen. So many rats by the front door. Not very clean. Undrinkable tap water. The water that came out of the kitchen faucet was cloudy and undrinkable.
• Carol (9/5): We really enjoyed our stay, and would look to stay here again in the future. - The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. A/C in every room was great. Location was very convenient to most everything we needed. One small thing, the hallway directly outside the apartment was dirty and had an odor (bad even for NY).
