• Knox (10/5): Great stay in a great location. Would highly recommend. - What a lovely spot! Swansea is a quiet, restful town, but so central to all the east-coast adventuring - Maria Island, Freycinet, wineries, beaches to name a few and this house is central to everything you need in Swansea! Grocery, pharmacy, and half a dozen really good eating spots (french patisserie, bakery, tapas/wine bar, restaurants) are all within a few minutes walk, as is the beach, and a lovely walk around the golf course to the next beach. The house has a beautiful new big deck with partial cover so I could enjoy being out there without baking myself in the heat. Very convenient layout in the house too, and the beds were super comfortable. Fun wombat touches around the place, fully stocked kitchen, games and books available for use for rainy days. We hope to stay here again on future visits!
• Lyn (9/5): A lovely town to relax. Close to good coffee, the well stocked IGA, and a beautiful view over the bay. A very therapeuti - Quiet spot.Clean and comfortable Very picky of me but it would have been nice if the lawn had been mowed.
• Street (10/5): Convenient, comfortable and cheerful - Everything! The location was perfect. We had lots to explore nearby and could easily access places a little further afield. It was always a relief to arrive home to such a warm, welcoming, Wombat-decor filled house.. I was surprised by how many amazing places there are to eat out in Swansea and the local supermarket was well stocked for cooking at home. The kitchen had everything we needed for this as well. The front bedrooms felt a bit exposed to the road but the privacy blinds took care of that. Everything else was perfect: modern bathroom, plush beds and sunlight streaming into the living room.
• Angela (10/5): Swansea isn’t just a place; it’s a story waiting to unfold. - As soon as we entered we felt like we were at home. Four nights in amazing Swansea — our home base for epic day trips. And guess what? The town’s got secrets. Amazing restaurants which are just a short stroll away as well as a supermarket and the beach! Now, the house—three bedrooms, all cozy corners. The house has amazing heating for snug nights watching some Netfix. Everything you need for a wonderful stay. We caught up on our washing while there and was concerned with no dryer but there is a clothes rack and due to the wonderful heating our clothes dried overnight so there was no issue. We’re plotting a comeback. Friends in tow.
