- Matthew (1/5): Bad - Nothing
- Dannika (1/5): Bad -
- Luca (10/5): cheap and cheerful - great room very comfy nothing
- Azizbek (8/5): Very good -
- Amy (1/5): appalling especially as I had to spend an extra£10 due to being sent the wrong address - actually sending me the correct address in the first place
better security for the bedroom
the front door would not open and was only able to get in due to someone letting me in
- Wibberley (9/5): Superb -
- Tyrshondre (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charlie (7/5): Good -
- Suman (5/5): Incomplete stay - Good location, close to Kings Cross Station Many steps to walk up so be vary with suitcases, checked in around 3pm and the bathroom area wasn’t clean. Was told the cleaner comes between 10am - 2pm so nothing could be done so we didn’t use the facilities. We checked out at 5pm on the arrival day as we didn’t feel comfortable staying there
- Ahmed (5/5): Passable -
- Shannon (1/5): Do not stay. - Nothing I was emailed 5 hours before arrival to be told they had double booked my stay (which I had booked 7 weeks in advance and paid 4 weeks in advance) Having to find myself, partner and two young children last minute accomodation coming back from a different country at 11.30pm and have had zero contact whatsoever other than initial message to tell me of their balls up
- Veronika (6/5): Til next time - Nice and clean. It has been more than 14 days ago I have checked out, and I still didn’t received the damage deposit.
I have left everything as it was before arrival.
- Zainab (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vanessa (6/5): Pleasant - Bathroom is old, need maintenance and could be cleaner.
- Hiba (4/5): Disappointing - The beds were really comfortbale, but two king beds in one room is really crowed. I loved the neighborhood, it's near the tube and there's many stores around in. The whole appartement wasn't really that clean, especially the bathroom rugs. Its also really small for 8 people. Theres three rooms, two with 2 people and 1 with four people. Which was also a surprise because we really thought this was going to be PRIVATE ROOMS, kinda like a hotel and not 3 rooms in the same apartment that is really small, and also we can't even get a refund or cancel this place so it wasn't the best. The rooms are called and we cant even shut the window down in the kitchen, there's not heat. The price is also too high for what it is. Will definitly not go back here again nor recommend.
- Karla (8/5): Very good - Really good - only issue was the bathroom - my daughter got trapped in as the door handle/lock was not very good. Also the shower leaks so it made the bathroom floor wet through. The other people in the flat were quite noisy with opening and closing of doors too. Other than that - perfect!
- Alicia (8/5): Clean, great location and comfortable - The space and location I had a generally safe and comfortable stay, but the access system in the building is quite temperamental.
You’ll need a phone with access to data and fully charged to with the host in case you can’t get in the building
The codes for entry into both the flat and the building itself often required multiple attempts, which was frustrating.
In particular, the exit button was unreliable and took several tries just to leave the building, which caused a lot of panic when I was rushing to catch my Uber to the airport.
Additionally, using the buzzer to get into the building sometimes required multiple tries, which isn’t ideal.
While I appreciated feeling secure, these technical issues really detracted from the convenience of the stay.
It would be great if the entry and exit systems were improved to function more smoothly.
- India (8/5): Very good -
- Leon (3/5): Spend a little bit more for a hotel. - Location was close to St Pancreas Station Room wasn't comfortable, bed had hairs and weren't entirely clean, walls were paper thin and could hear everything outside. Bathroom was dark.
- Miller (1/5): Awful experience. Give this one a miss - Initially could not get into the property and rang but no answer.
Not clean and don’t even know if there were clean sheets on the bed. Could not bear to have another night so moved out Nothing good to like
- Rebecca (4/5): Disappointing -
- Anonymous (7/5): Good - Great experience
- Zainab (8/5): Very good -
- Max (1/5): Bad - Did not get in on the first
- Carmen (10/5): I would definitely stay again - The beds were really comfortable, and the shower 🚿 was very nice Nothing
- Wendy (2/5): Very poor -
- Gheorghe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gheorghe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ayentimi (5/5): the bathroom was not good, the water moves slowly when bathing - The owner was asking me unnecessary questions about me
- Gheorghe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gheorghe (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean !!! Location !!
- Pham (5/5): Unsatisfactory - Location was highly competitive Bathroom and toilet facilities (too dark, too old)
There was no hot water either in shower or in kitchen sink
- Anne-sophie (7/5): Central stay - Very well located, it's roughly 5 minutes walking to King's Cross station. The shower was powerful, and it definitely makes the difference after a long day spent in London. It's fine for 2 or 3 days stay, if you're happy to share amenities. The shared bathroom : only 1 shower and 1 toilet in same room for I think 3 rooms in this flat and our room had 3 adults and 1 kid in it. So if someone else is having a shower , we couldn't go to the toilet (and vice versa). We had to wait and listen to hear when someone will leave the bathroom to go in it.
- Celestine (10/5): Excellent location and staff - The place is clean, transportation very easy and the facilities are very good. Nothing
- Tom (9/5): Superb - The room, though not spacious, made up for this by providing two large double beds. The main ceiling light wasn't working. We used the light between the two beds.
- Shamara (1/5): DISGUSTED - The bed & location The bathroom was DISGUSTING, there was HAIR, there was a lot of MOLD, piece of gum stuck in the shower and the towels had spots on them… idk how you clean your own bathroom but thats not how i do it!!!!!!
- Stuart (7/5): Good -
- Joshua (3/5): I considered asking for a refund, and going somewhere else . - It was close to kings cross There were no instructions as to how to find the room. It is a courtyard with mostly families . Four separate doorwsys, five stories each. There is no himan on site to help ... And the woman on the intercom could not be bothered. It took a resident to help me. Still, I went to the wrong building. 45 minutes later, I found the hallway, but there were no numbers on the doors. I had to try the code on all the doors. Because it was a courtyard, the children playing and screaming down below kept taking a nap impossible. Then there was soccer with a father going on ball slamming against the walls ... The window counterweight was disconnected, so, it was almost impossible to open it. I had to use a book to let air into the room.. I gave up. On a nap, and went out. There is no tv as advertised.... I would not recommend this place to my friends.
- Ryan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ellis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Liamtodoori (9/5): Superb - It was nice to be close to King's Cross station.
- Nikos (1/5): I am almost in Genius 3 level and it was the first time that I left immediately from the apartment! - ?????!!!?????? Dragic.....just this!
- John (8/5): Very good -
- Jack (1/5): Bad - Good wifi. Given a double room even though a quadruple room was on the booking and on the pictures.
Scruffy, unkempt building and area.
Small lounge area.
Shared flat with three other guests. One family were partcularly noisy and not aware of other guests.
Details to access the room were not shared before reaching the property and the owner was hard to get hold of to provide details.
- Kieran (1/5): Air bnb is better than this. This is not a hotel -
- Maci (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (7/5): Happy, value for money accomodation. - Overall happy with the accommodation good value for location. If have to will stay again. Bathroom and kitcken sink run down, needs atention.
- Mirlan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Harry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leo (5/5): Great location, dirty toilet carpets. - Location is excellent next to KingsX They had a washing machine running all the time, there were dirty carpets in the toilet never changed, I’d expect those to be changed every day at least.
- Samuel (8/5): Good location, quiet and good value - Convenient location, relatively quiet street, good price, two double beds. The shared area smelled like a wet mop, the instructions for getting access were not very clear. Otherwise it was absolutely fine.
- Ahmed (4/5): Disappointing -
- Elliott (1/5): Be prepared to get stuck in the bathroom in this shared apartment with strangers (3 rooms listed) - Nothing. Be warned that the property doesn't show that it's a small London apartment with 3 different rooms inside. The ad doesn't show the other doors but you'll be sharing with lots of other people. The bathroom door is a sliding door that wasn't on its hinges when we were at the property and we got stuck in the bathroom. The owner does not answer calls or messages. Felt very uncomfortable being at this property. No keys given so to gain access to building you need to ring and wait. Owner didn't answer if I could leave the property and return early hours. So once again not safe or comfortable with this arrangement.
Booked on a different site and stayed at crowne plaza for the SAME PRICE. bargain. Actual hotel. Front desk. KEYS. bathrooms that work. Not a shared area.
- Emma (8/5): Perfect place to crash for a few nights in a perfect location. - Perfect location.
Easy to get into the building.
Beds very comfortable and bedrooms quite spacious. I was relieved there were coat hangers supplied.
Thank goodness there was a laundry in there because I really needed it!
It was a quick easy walk to the train station and it was handy having a Sainsbury's just around the corner and a nice little coffee shop at the end of the street.
Wifi was fast and a strong signal - easy to connect to too.
I don't know about the people writing reviews saying it was hard to find - they need to look in the open-your-eyes section because it was literally right there with a sign above it.
Hint for those staying - don't twist the front door knob to open it, just push the door and it'll open.
I wouldn't label it "chic" - it's literally bedrooms with a kitchenette. Perfect if you're just looking for a place to sleep like I was and I'd absolutely stay there again. No fault of the owner, but the other idiots who were staying there spent a ridiculous amount of time in the bathroom and more than once I was jumping up and down doing the wee dance praying there wouldn't be an accident.
Bathroom did need help I should note. The shower drain was stuffed and the bottom filled up with water and had mould around it. There were near-empty bottles of soap etc hanging around from guests of past too. Sopping wet and questionable floor mats. It could really use a good daily clean.
- Celestine (8/5): Very good -
- Magdalena (7/5): Good - Great location! The apartment is nice and quiet with a smal and well equiped kitchenette. The furniture is not new but is enough. You need to remember a few codes to unlock the door but it's quite convinient solution. Water under the shower was extreamly hot which made having a shower impossible. The blankets on the beds require washing!
- Mark (1/5): Could not even find it - The price was cheap and in theory the location was good. We couldn't find this accomodation. There was no address with the booking. I was sent instuctions but they were very unclear (they didn't contain the address and when I clicked on the 'get direction' link it took me to a different street). I got resent the same instructions when I called the number listed for help. I eventually established where the property was located but the instructions to access the front door of the block of flats didn't work. I was let into the front door by another resident but the follow on instructions & code did not work. After 45 mins of trying to contact someone to get clearer instructions I had to give up and find other accomodation as I was with my 10 year old daughter who was getting frightened by the uncertainty. The directions and location of this accomodation are very badly communicated. I didn't actually see what the flat was like but I would be concerned about its condition from what I saw in the entrance to these flats and I've now read more carefully the other reviews and realised this is a problematic accomodation.
- Klaudia (8/5): Good value for money - The room was very comfortable, common spaces clean and tidy. The location is perfect, really close to Kings Cross station. There’s not much space overall, but ok for a few nights. The communication with the owner was a bit problematic.
- Dean (10/5): Exceptional -
- Le (6/5): Cheap, but not that cheerful - Great location The room was a little oversold as a “chic” downtown apartment. The room, shared space and bathroom were not perfectly clean and the bathroom itself really needed a touch up. Having said that, the price was good.
- Samarth (7/5): Good -
- Shaun (8/5): I’d describe this as a luxury hostel/bedsit. Clean & modern. - I mainly liked how close it was to Kings Cross, it was really clean and looked modern. We didn’t realise it was more of a shared apartment with potentially 2 of groups sharing the kitchen, bathroom & living space. Basically a Bed Sit.
That said, had not issues with the other groups but didn’t feel comfortable leaving some items in our room.
- Martyna (1/5): Never again - So close to the station The noise is unreal, paper thin walls and windows. The window in my room literally had a huge gap and wouldn’t shut properly at the top. The doors were slamming all night, other people coming in and out and being super loud all night. Woken up at 2AM to people coming into the flat and they were extremely loud til 4AM when I knocked on their door to stop. 1 tiny bathroom shared between three rooms (that’s probably up to 9 people in the flat) it’s impossible to navigate your day with that.
- Rajan (8/5): Very good -
- Ball (1/5): Horrible - Live and dead Rats all over the place, rubbish everywhere, no signage. Landlord very rude, stay away.
- Sujon (10/5): Exceptional - Contact was very nice
- Adrian (5/5): Passable -
- Hui (8/5): excellent stay - the location was very convenient
and the place is so clean the windows are quite noisy
there is strong winds so the windows goes shaking and make noises when everything are quite at night
