• Afroditi (5/5): - I loved the location of the room. However, it was not luxury. The room needs some renovation and the bathroom was leaking at times. The mirror / door of the toilet could not close and it looked old and poorly renovated.

• Παρασκευή (7/5): Καλή λόγω τοποθεσίας! - Η τοποθεσία και η καθαρότητα του καταλύματος. Ενα ρόλο υγείας για τρεις μέρες για δύο άτομα δεν έφτασε. Η πόρτα στην τουαλέτα δεν έκλεινε . Τα προϊόντα του μπάνιου ( αφρόλουτρο σαμπουάν ) ήταν άγνωστης προέλευσης, οπότε χρησιμοποίησα τα δικά μου! Τα φώτα - απλίκες πάνω από τα κομοδίνα έπρεπε να είναι πιο ψηλά λόγω ότι αρκετές φορές πέφταμε πάνω τους!
• Alison (4/5): Mixed.... - Location near Syntagma Square was great. Room was comfortable Shower was very difficult to get hot water. The nightclub over the road was very noisy into the early hours. The room is in a building that looked partly as though it was office acxommodation so there weren't many people round and that didn't feel very safe sometimes. Access through the shutter was difficult after hours.

• Rositsa (5/5): Nie wieder !! - Sauber, gut möbliert. unbending in Betracht nehmen , dass die Unterkunft neben Wirtschaft die Nachts offen hat circa 21:00 - 3:00 Uhr mit extrem laute Musik , positioniert ist !!! Trotz doppelt Fenster findet man hier kein Schlaf !! Das alleine macht die Aufenthalt sehr schlecht und sinnlos….. Ich würde es nie wiederholen ! Sonst sauber , gut möbliert und in der Stadtzentrum .

• Claire (10/5): Not a dreamy holiday location for first-timers, but great if you know where you're goingl) - I know Athens well, so just needed super practical central location at a good price - I was very impressed with the price and bracing myself for there to be trade offs - there just weren't. Great room, great access, great communication.
• Emmanouil (9/5): Great stay in the Athenian center. - The position of the room is very central. I don’t like that the internet was exceptionally slow and the outside bar was noisy. Thankfully , I slept with earplugs.
• Bataki (2/5): Απαράδεκτος οικοδεσπότης, παραπλανητικες πληροφορίες για wifi. Δεν ειχε, δεν το έφτιαξαν - Η τοποθεσια 1. Σαπισμενα σημεια στο μπανιο 2. Φασαρία απο μπαρ, ετριζαν τα τζάμια στο ρυθμό του μπασου ολο το βραδυ και δεν μπορούσες να κοιμηθεις 3. Έφτασα βράδυ, δεν είχε ενα μπουκάλι νερο 3. Δεν υπήρχε wifi, ενημέρωσα αμεσως μου είπαν να βρω το ρουτερ, δεν το εβρισκα, ρωτουσα που ειναι και την 4η ημερα απο τις 6 ημέρες διαμονής, μου ειπαν να κοιταξω στην κουζίνα. Το δωμάτιο δεν ειχε ούτε κουζίνα ούτε ρουτερ. Μετα εφηύρε αλλη δικαιολογία, ταχα μου πρόβλημα στον παροχο που είχε επιληφθεί το τεχνικό πρόβλημα. Μίλησα με τον παροχο, κανενα πρόβλημα ούτε στην συγκεκριμένη πολυκατοικία ούτε στην ευρύτερη περιοχή. Τελικά το ρουτερ, αφού το ανακάλυψα εγω, μου επιβεβαίωσαν οτι βρίσκεται σε γειτονικό διαμερισμα! Επομενως ειναι προφανές οτι δεν ειχε κάλυψη στο δωμάτιο μου. Αρνήθηκαν να με αποζημιώνουν λέγοντας για ανθρώπινο λαθος και όχι για ψευδείς πληροφορίες για το δωμάτιο. Δεν έκαναν τίποτα. Ήμουν αθηνα για επαγγελματικές λόγους, το wifi μου ηταν απαραίτητο και δεν λειτουργούσε γεγονος που μου δηνιουργησε τεράστιο προβλημα.

• ELENI (10/5): - Η τοποθεσία είναι ιδανική, λίγα λεπτά από το Σύνταγμα. Ευρύχωρο δωμάτιο, άνετο κρεβάτι. Το check out θα μπορούσε να είναι πιο αργά και όχι μέχρι τις 10 π.μ. Επίσης, καθημερινά λειτουργούσε το μπαρ απέναντι, του οποίου η μουσική ήταν εκκωφαντική και δονούνταν τα τζάμια του δωματίου.
• Karampourniotis (4/5): Και τις δύο βραδιές δεν κοιμήθηκα καθόλου καλά διότι απέναντι ακριβώς λειτουργεί ένα κλαμπ με εκκωφαντική μουσική που ακ - Καθαρό αν και μικρό με άνετο κρεβάτι και ωραίο ντουζ. Λίγο μικρό και με ένα μηχάνημα θορυβώδης μέσα στο μπάνιο που έμπαινε σε λειτουργία ακόμη και το βράδυ για λίγα δευτερόλεπτα. Επίσης έχει μια τζαμένια εσωτερική πόρτα σε μεσοτοιχία με διπλανό διαμέρισμα επενδεδυμένη με ένα φύλλο ξύλου αλλά δεν είναι ικανό να αποσβέσει τις ομιλίες των δίπλα.
• ONOUFRIOS (1/5): Απογοήτευση - Η τοποθεσία. Δεν ήταν καθαρό. Στην μπανιέρα τα ξύλα της πόρτας ήταν λιωμένα. Όταν έκανες μπάνιο έβγαζε νερά σε όλο τον χώρο της τουαλέτας. Η πόρτα της τουαλέτας ήταν φουσκωμένη και δεν άνοιγε τελείως, ούτε έκλεινε εντελώς. Το παρκέ μουχλιασμένο και μαύρο. Μύριζε μούχλα το δωμάτιο και είχαμε το παράθυρο ανοιχτό συνεχώς. Το σκέπασμα στο κρεββάτι ήταν μικρό και η κουβέρτα που είχε μέσα στο κουίλτ πολύ μεγαλή με αποτέλεσμα να είναι πολύ διπλωμένη και όχι άνετα. Το wifi δεν λειτουργούσε.
• Ratsamee (7/5): Good for budget traveler who want to stay in downtown and safe for women at night - Its center of Syntagma neighborhood. The Syntagma station is the closest station that you can take. It’s easy to get around there. You can hear noise from the clubs in that neighborhood every night . If you don’t mind it, this hotel isn’t that bad. Plus the bathroom’s door seems like someone broke it down. It’s difficult to close or open the door.

• ELISAVET (8/5): Πολύ ωραία τοποθεσία.. Ανύπαρκτη επικοινωνία μόνο οι βασικές οδηγίες στην πλατφόρμα της booking. - Η τοποθεσία τα σπάει!!! Δύο βήματα κυριολεκτικά από την πλατεία Συντάγματος. Το δωμάτιο είναι άνετο ! Επίσης το κρεβάτι είναι αναπαυτικό και μεγάλο . Πρέπει να ανοίξεις πολλές πόρτες για να μπεις αν επιστρέψεις μετά τις 10 το βράδυ γιατί είναι όλα κλειδωμένα καθώς είναι μέσα σε στοά . Αυτό βέβαια δεν είναι απαραίτητα κακό καθώς πρόκειται για την ασφάλεια του κτηρίου... απλά σου σπάει τα νεύρα ...κι αν τύχει και σου συμβεί κάτι μην περιμένετε να σας βοηθήσει κανείς ...αν κάνετε κάτι λάθος με την κλειδαριά γιατί δεν έχετε καταλάβει καλά ...δεν απαντούν στα τηλέφωνα, αλλά ούτε σας παίρνουν την επόμενη μέρα να δουν αν πάθατε κάτι και τους πήρατε τηλέφωνο. Επίσης το ότι πρέπει να φύγεις στις 10 το πρωί είναι πάρα πολύ νωρίς αν υπολογίσει κανείς ότι το check in είναι στις 3 το μεσημέρι. Επίσης δεν έχει χώρο φύλαξης αποσκευών αλλά ακόμη κι αν τους ρωτήσεις και σου πουν ότι θα σε βοηθήσουν δεν το κάνουν.. Γενικά είναι πολύ απρόσωπη η επικοινωνία με το κατάλυμα. Και κάτι τελευταίο...στο ντους έχει λίγη μούχλα η οποία πρέπει σίγουρα να καθαριστεί .

• Nursel (4/5): - Otelin konumu çok iyiydi. Oda oldukça ferahtı ve genişti. Yatak çok rahattı. Odada sıcak su yoktu , TV çalışmıyordu. En önemlisi hemen sokağın karşısında gece kulübü vardı ve hergün sabah 4e kadar gürültü vardı.

• nomi (6/5): לא מומלץ - החדר היה מרווח ונקי הדירה נמצאת במיקום מצויין אבל ויש אבל גדול היא מול מועדון ועד השעה 3 לפנות בוקר מוזיקה בקולי קולות שנשמעת גם בדירה וצעקות של אנשים בנוסף בתוך הדירה עוברת משאבת מים כל פתיחה של מים רעש נוראי בחדר. ב לילה הראשון עד השעה 4 לפנות בוקר המשאבה לא הפסיקה לעבוד ברצף למרות שאנחנו לא פתחנו מים והרעשים היו נוראיים בצק האוט ביקשנו שעתיים נוספים ובדקנו בבוקינג החדר לא היה מוזמן ומאיזה שהיא סיבה לא נתנו לנו לסיכום שלנו ממש לא מומלץ

However, the bathroom door was broken and the biggest issue was the club across the street playing very loud music until 4 a.m. every night, which made it impossible to sleep.

The apartment is located right opposite a club, and at night the music was unbelievably loud — the walls were literally trembling, and I couldn’t sleep at all. It went on until very late, which made the whole experience quite unpleasant. Also communication with the staff was very mid as they didn’t answer several times when I needed help entering the building and didn’t get any directions beforehand

• Misha (7/5): A perfect spot, but for one fatal flaw - This would be an almost perfect spot, were it not for one important flaw. See below. Noise aside, this was a very attractive room. The location could not have been better. Around the corner from Syntagma Square, with most of the attractions of central Athens (museums, archeological sites, parks, shops) a short walk or a quick metro ride away. The entrance to the building may seem a little convoluted, especially at night, but once you get the hang of it it's quite easy and it feels safe at any time of day or night. The room itself is as advertised. Spacious, especially when you travel alone. Hygiene was adequate. Communication with the staff (through app and mail) was clear and friendly. All in all it is a shame about the noise from outside, 'cause otherwise this would get my highest recommendation This room has one fatal flaw: it is located right across from a busy nightclub and there's loud music playing every night of the week (except on tuesdays and wednesdays, when they were apparantly closed). The beat goes on until four every night and it was so bad that the windows and the airco unit were vibrating loudly. Obviously this is not primarily the fault of the owners, and it was clear that they tried to take some measures to minimize the noise with double windows. But it still was enough to keep you awake at night. Luckily I had strong earplugs with me. So I did manage to get enough sleep. But if you're a light sleeper you might want to take all this into account

• Steve (8/5): Good Location - I chose this accommodation for being near syntagma metro as using public transport,all facilities were good bed comfortable,safe and tea/coffee facilities also a big fridge and tv. There was a good food takeaway downstairs which we only used once as closed the weekend tasty and very reasonable. Communication was a bit awkward for us as only communication was by email via message through booking.com so we had to find a Wi-Fi hotspot to receive messages as not received accomadation access details until the actual day.I did try phoning a contact number but no answer!

• Gafner (6/5): Comfortable? Yes. Up to standards? No. - Location was great. Near train and bus routes, popular areas to shop and eat, and walkable to destinations like Acropolis. The shower was nice, the bed was comfortable, and the building was quiet. The brochure which explains instructions, recommendations, etc was useful. Air conditioning worked fine for me, but it is not powerful to get down to lower digits effectively. That is okay with me if it still works. I set it at 20 or 21 C and it seemed to hold that fine. This was booked only a few days beforehand, so on short notice, this place provided reasonable accommodation at a decent price There were 3 key things: 1. I was told I can check in anytime after 1500, and gave prior notice that I would be there around 1500. When I arrived after 1500, I realized I didn't have the information I needed - room number, code for keys, etc. After trying to figure it out, i found the rooms, but did not have the info. The person I was messaging on WhatsApp said it was sent (it wasnt, and it felt a little like gaslighting, like it was my fault). The cleaning lady then leaves the room after I had been sitting around trying to figure this out for ~30 min. After she leaves, all of a sudden I get the information sent to me. I had a busy day prior to this, but if I was told "the room won't be ready until 1545", that would have been fine. However, sitting around in the warm hallways, trying to figure whats wrong, only to realize that the room was not ready at 1500 and that's why I didn't have codes, etc is unacceptable. 2. Wifi did not work. I can't understate how annoying it was to not have wifi after going through check in issue described above. The network info provided was not available. Wifi is kind of a critical thing to have at your home base, where my data was a little worse and where I want to plan things, watch videos, etc. I had to extend my data plan to ensure I didn't run out of internet, in large part because I didn't have wifi here. I had to ask for updates daily+, Management was responsive in saying oh there has been some issues with the line, we are getting in touch with the homeowners, etc etc. Honestly, I understand internet issues, but in a big city where there is internet access everywhere, and they can't get it fixed over the course of 3 days is unacceptable. I was relying on my place to have wifi, and it did not. 3. The room smelled when I walked in like toilet, and continued to smell (not horribly but just enough to notice it, after awhile u dont realize it).
• Amy (9/5): Superb - Great location! So close to many things to see and easy to access from the metro. The bed was the best bed I’ve had in awhile. It was very comfy and the room was very sound proof. Overall the experience was good. The only reason I did not rate this room better was because we never had any wifi for the entire trip and it ended up costing us an arm and a leg for data from Canada. The first night there I asked for someone to fix the wifi but they said look for the router to restart. The router was never found and they never got back to us to help find a solution.

• Alina (5/5): Still good for the price vs location - The room was clean and very well situated. • Unfortunately there were drips of water coming out of the floor in and around the bathroom area, when stepping on the area. I guess it has/had some kind of water leak, which still has not dried yet. So some corners look like they've seen better days (upon closer look). • There is a device, which does short and loud periodical bursts of sound, when water is used. From the sound, I think it's some kind of shredder to not clog the drains. It probably detects when water comes down the drain. So be prepared for that when peeing half asleep at night. • The loud music is bothersome, but we were warned beforehand. So I can't really complain about this. There is a nightclub just across the street, which will play music loudly until early. Even with the windows closed, the bass from the music will make the blinds/windows and the bathroom door vibrate.

• Carol (9/5): Excellent stay. Close to Syntagma Square. Amazingly comfortable King sized bed & brilliant shower. - Great location. Very clean & good amenities. Difficult opening key box as too high for me.

• Panayiota (7/5): Good - The room was nice location is great There was some issues that sorted out quickly by the owner and thank you we appreciate that, the low rate is mostly about the access is the room is just a code it doesn’t feel save to have it also more than one person example the maintenance etc… I didn’t like the idea for a lot of reasons.

Everything was nicely done with all amenities included. The host was always available to answer all of our questions. Would definitely recommend G&W Luxery Rooms for your visit to Athens Nothing
• Combes (1/5): Non existent - I didn't get a chance to use the room. The key lock was a few inches from the ground on a busy street. I tried for half an hour to use the code provided. It was either the wrong code or the key lock was defective. I was forced to find alternate accomodation. I would not recommend this accomodation under any circumstances. I am sure I will not see a refund, notwithstanding the accomodation was unable to be used. Everything. There was no way to contact the owner for assistance.
• Isobel (5/5): Lovely property, nightclub over road til 4am - Room was lovely, just what we needed for a stop over. Clean and nice big bed. Clear instructions for turning water on and good communication from hosts. Nightclub directly over the road- music til 4am which shook the windows and was like trying to sleep in a nightclub. Didn't sleep a wink.
• Kate (7/5): Great value place in centre of Athens - Great location. Everything you need. Air conditioning was great. Not as nice as the photos. Was quite difficult to find the key.
