Guest Reviews
- Ankit (2/5): Not coming back ever again. Rather sleep in car. - Nothing. Location was not easy to approach,
Entrance was full of other people trash can,
Basement was having a foul smell,
Watching 4 SPIDERS on wall was unpredictable,
Kitchen cabinets corners were oily,
Bed Linen has spots,
Trash cans missing garbage bags and much more.

- Jacquie (2/5): The slumlord special without the bare minimum necessities needed to live for a few days. - The property was in a good location. It was close to our primary locations (cowboy stadium, Calgary stampede, and the Calgary Airport). We found some good places to eat within a reasonable distance from the property. The property was clean (the sheets and floors and fridge) and that is the only reason we did not find somewhere else to stay. This place is the epitome of the “landlord special.” It’s thrown together without any care. They painted over light switches and outlets instead of removing them. There are cracks in the walls and one picture to be found in the whole place. One bedroom has a window with the screen and the other does not so it cannot be opened. The vents were filthy. In the first bedroom, the closet door handles don’t even match and are terribly unaligned. If you open the closet door, good luck shutting it as the track piece is broken. The curtain rod in the second bedroom is completely bent down on the one side. There was no hand soap in the bathroom and only one half roll of toilet paper was provided. When I messaged the property owner to provide these two things, he said he would deliver it first thing in the morning but did not appear before 4pm. The beds are hard as rock and have the world’s ugliest sheets upon them. The top bedspread in the first room is stained. The pillows feel like sleeping with no pillow at all. The outlet in the bathroom did not work so my friend has trouble styling her hair. She ended up showering with her flip flops on because we just did not trust it. The towels were bleach stained and she found boogers on the wall in the bathroom on our second day. The paper towels were stained brown in the kitchen so we did not touch them. Please know that the reviews went down severely after I booked this property and I would have changed it if it wasn’t during stampede time with little available. Book anywhere else.
- Vinh (8/5): - The location is not convinience to access leisure facilities

- Karen (7/5): We had a great time in Calgary travelling into the city each day & being self-sufficient with meals 👍 - Clean & comfortable with excellent kitchen appliances, including full size fridge, oven, cooktop, dishwasher and coffee maker. Also a good shower :) Conveniently located on bus route to central Calgary. Could have made better use of the kitchen if an oven tray and a frypan were provided. Would also suggest that there should be sufficient plates & cutlery for the number of guests booked. Similarly for seating in the lounge. Location of the outside bins was elusive but we did find them👌

- Paul (6/5): Comfortable enough but not clean or private - Laundry facilities. Ease of street parking. Finding disgusting smelly food in the kitchen cabinet from a prepared meal someone had left behind in a frying pan. Floors not clean, especially under beds. Washing machine appeared to be not working properly as it was still rinsing several hours after it originally indicated it would be finished. Noisy neighbours in the other half of the shared property. They were careless of disturbing us.
- Davies (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sangha (1/5): Bad -
- Wayne (7/5): Good -
- Robert (8/5): Very good - Good location. Clean. Roomy. I was given the wrong address, and attempted to open the front door of the next door neighbour.
There was a constant strong smell of dog urine from the resident upstairs, which the owner acknowledged.
- Trudi (8/5): Very good - Convenient to the airport & cheap No coffee filters
- Kaur (10/5): I would love to come back again here - I really like this location. So cozy and comfortable place. Owner was very helpful and was a text away every time
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Margarett (10/5): Exceptional -
- Connor (10/5): Exceptional - All good N/A
- Quinn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alec (8/5): Comfortable, no hassle and what I expected. - The location is great and being pet friendly with a huge off leash park literally across the back alley from the unit makes it stress free for we dog owners. It was quiet and private. Needs a can opener.
- Lovnish (9/5): Superb -
- Muhammad (7/5): Good -
- Margarett (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yevheniia (10/5): Exceptional - kitchen and possibility to wash and dry my clothes, fast responses from the manager:) I heard neighbours walking next home, I was a bit scaread during the night
- Juvaila (1/5): bad!! - cancel booking at noon day of reservation,, did not call and just email me,, which is disappointing, by the time i learned it,, it was already 4pm,, host said he will contact booking.com for refund will be automatic, but thats not the case,, i have to call booking and explain situation before refund was process!!! such a hassle!!! cost us more
- Barbara (1/5): Bad - Apt was clean. Beds were comfortable. No outside light at night. Fell trying to access back entrance. Scraped arm. Ground uneven. Steep stairs to access unit. Had trouble getting keys to work. No coffee. Noisy footsteps late at night.
- Komant (1/5): Bad - Host cancelled on me the night before my stay
- Jordanna (7/5): Good - It was easy to get to and the instructions were clear. There were no windows, and it said laundry was included but once we got there was told it was extra.
- Shelaine (4/5): Moldy bathroom - It was close to the airport, the owner was easy to contact/communicate with, the check-in was easy, and the beds were comfortable! There was a lot of mold in the bathroom. It was very stinky and a dangerous amount to be inhaling. Especially after taking a shower, the smell got significantly worse. This was the only issue. If this was cleaned up/taken care of, the place would have been perfect.
- Stephen (6/5): Pleasant - The basic units were fine; fridge, cooker, beds, washing machine, hot water etc. The owner wouldn't let us in without supplying a photo ID and copy of the Booking.com reservation.
The accommodation lacked chairs, kitchen towels, laundry basket, hooks in bathroom, hair dryer, bedside tables, bedside lights and a proper rubbish bin. The property was also extremely noisy from the people upstairs and the automatic heating system.
- Estelle (1/5): Bad - close to the airport the people (owners?) living just above made noise all night so we couldn't sleep (vacuum cleaner at 11pm, screaming at 3am)
the host asked us to text him the same documents 2 times or he wouldn't send us the check-in instructions - we said we'd arrive between 4 and 7pm and he didn't contact us until 6pm with instructions (fortunately we hadn't arrived yet or we wouldn't have been able to get in).
Moreover, he doesn't show any friendliness in his messages, no hello or anything.
the accommodation doesn't smell very good and isn't super clean, the sofa isn't comfortable and it's obvious that the host does the bare minimum in terms of maintenance and furnishings
there were also broken objects left in the garden and near the entrance
- Michelle (2/5): Very poor - Price ,location Noisy neighbours couldn't get any sleep and smell of smoke in our apartment from neighbours. Lack of utensils for cooking, one mug, etc. No hair dryer. Lack of daylight was very badly equipped Beds were like sleeping on concrete
- Michelle (3/5): Poor - Location and price Very Very basic , very noisy upstairs neighbours, beds uncomfortable, no utilities for cooking.
- Omar (9/5): Superb -
- Jennifer (9/5): Really comfortable place to stay a couple of nights. - This was our favourite place that we stayed in on our whole vacation. There was lots of room, great facilities (especially kitchen and laundry) and very comfortable. It really helped to have a vehicle - we had to drive a few blocks to get meals and supplies, although we could have walked at a pinch.
- Jibu (1/5): Bad - The owner canceled on the day of our reservation. Don’t book with them Nothing
- Yufeng (1/5): Cannot sleep because of the bad smell of the room. Dont believe the pic! - The location is at a busy street with fire hydrant very close.Be careful when you park Smell very bad!! Could smell weed all the time!
- Jo (7/5): Good -
- Florencia (9/5): Superb - Comfortable appartement. We were just 2 but it has 2 bedrooms so well prepared for 4 people.
- Saniia (4/5): I do not recommend these apartments - The location The apartment was very dirty.
The bed linen has not been changed since the last guests and it smelled very bed.
- Ivan (8/5): Very good -
- Andrea (6/5): Pleasant - The place is ok for a one-night stay. Bus stop just in front of the property.
- Uddalok (9/5): Superb -
- Uddalok (10/5): Exceptional -
- Harish (9/5): Superb -
- Eric (8/5): Very good - Place was perfect except the shower head need to be replace as it’s really bad and not even hooked up properly otherwise great location plenty of little
Restaurant nearby very quiet
- Victoria (10/5): Exceptional - Good bang for your buck
- Ankit (8/5): Very good -
- Libby (5/5): Not a very nice place to stay, wouldn’t book again. - The host was nice and communicated well. It was affordable (and can see why now) just happy we had a place to stay while we waited to fly home The whole house smelled really badly of Cannabis and cigarettes and despite having the 2 windows open pretty much the whole of our stay the smell wouldn’t go away. The beds were Hard as a rock. We were also Only given one roll of toilet paper for a 4 day stay with 4 people.
- Alexandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (7/5): Calgary visit - Good location, well laid out. Beds were extremely comfortable. Parking was OK, missing microwave.
- Daniele (6/5): David is a great host. Even if there was a Little misunderstanding with the booking he solved everyt - Good position. A bus leading to the center just in front of the house. Quality-price is ok. I would add some tools in the kitchen and the coffee (there was the coffee machine without coffee).
- Corey (9/5): Superb -
- Lisa (9/5): Superb - Cozy and clean
