• Isabelle (7/5): Hotel senzill, net i tranquil - Personal amable i servicial. La meva reserva era per una habitació individual i em van donar una doble. Vaig dormir bé malgrat la tormenta. Vaig sopar al restaurant, la carta és simple però el menjar és bo. Esmorzar senzill, porten un plat amb formatge i pernil dolç, pa i croissant, en lliure servei hi havia fruita, mermelada. Habitació senzilla amb llit, armari, 1 tauleta de nit, taula amb cadira i televisor. Em van donar aquesta habitació perquè no trobaven la clau de la que em tocava, crec que no havien engegat la calefacció, i feia una mica de fred. El bany és petit i la cortina de dutxa no és gaire pràctica però tot era molt net i suficient per una nit.

• Wohnhaas (8/5): Très satisfaite de mon séjour dans cet hôtel. - Personnel accueillant et prévenant. Bon petit-déjeuner. Bonne situation géographique.

• Kirsten (5/5): Einfache Zimmer, sehr nettes Personal - Sehr netter Empfang,, Chefin sprach deutsch und war sehr bemüht. Ebenso die Bedienung im Restaurant, die mit englisch und ein bisschen deutsch sehr bemüht und freundlich war. Das Essen im Restaurant war hervorragend. Alles sauber! Die Lage: nicht weit von der Autobahn, ideal für die Durchreise, fußläufig vom See. Sehr einfache Zimmer mit sehr unbequemen Sitzmöglichkeiten. Badezimmer ist renovierungsbedürftig, die Dusche hatte einen Vorhang ( abgebildet bei Booking war eine feste Duschabtrennung).

• Elmar (7/5): A lot of 70s nostalgia, well worth the money - Staff was really great and kind of informal - they even put up with my out-of-training french. The hotel feels a bit stuck in the 70s, the room like a bedroom in your grandma's house (if your grandma was Swiss and you were there in the 70s). The bed in room 12 was quite soft and giving a bit too much, but my back didn't hurt, so I guess it passes. Bathroom is dated, but functional. Since the restaurant/bar was open, I chose to eat there; had a nice salad and a good cheese fondue (meat fondues need at least two people unfortunately). I've read the complaints about noise levels, and it is true - if you're an open-window sleeper, this might not be for you. The street and roundabout are fairly used, even throughout the night, and there are two churches nearby that will klonk their bells every half hour. I also didn't really care for one-use shower gel packs, found that quite insensitive.

• Orphee (10/5): C'était exceptionnel. Je me réjouis de revenir "chez Françoise", avec le bord du lac tout près. - La gentillesse de la patronne Françoise, qui a été très accueillante et bienveillante envers moi et mes 2 petits chiens, franchement c'est un plus, de savoir que cet hôtel est Dog friendly" (lieu accueillant pour les chiens). Le petit-déjeuner est copieux, il y a différents choix de confitures et miels locaux. Différents fromages et du jambon. Du pain et des croissants frais. En plus, le café est vraiment bon. Françoise m'a trouvé une chambre au calme, moi qui ai un peu des problèmes de sommeil. Sinon, il y a une très belle terrasse pour manger dehors le midi ou le soir, et la carte des mets est variée. Je recommande vivement. Le magnifique lac est à même pas 10 minutes à pied, ce qui est très pratique. Les places de parc sont gratuites, c'est un plus, surtout en été. Vraiment rien à écrire.
• Martina (6/5): Für den Preis und eine Nacht in Ordnung. - Wir waren mit unseren Rädern unterwegs und für uns war die Lage gut. Eine Unterstellmöglichkeit für die Räder war vorhanden, wir mussten dies jedoch selbst heraus finden. Das Personal war (am nächsten Tag) sehr nett. Bei Ankunft mussten wir feststellen, dass keiner vom Hotel da war. Es stellte sich später heraus, dass Dienstag Ruhetag ist. Dies sollte bei Booking noch klarer hervor gehen! Das Zimmer ist nicht groß und das Bad noch kleiner und es gibt keine Ablagegelegenheiten darin. Man sollte auch mitgeteilt bekommen, dass es nur eine Bettdecke gibt für beide. Das Frühstück bestand aus Kaffee und drei Scheiben Schincken und zweit Stücken Käse. Die Eier waren kalt und hart (ohne Eierbecher). Das Brot waren zwei Weißbrotschreiben und zwei Croissants. Erst auf Nachfrage gab es auch etwas anderes und mehr.

• Angelos Karanikolas (6/5): Nice hotel, good location, but sleeping can be troublesome during heatwaves. - Positives: Very close to train station and super marker, easy to find, good cleanliness/room condition and service. The host is very responsive on the phone. There wasn't that much communication through booking.com, though, I had to notice the details and call (don't miss the information that it's closed on Tuesdays). Breakfast was good. Nothing special, but at least it was covered by the price. -Not so comfortable pillows. Under the weight of my head it became as thin as a sheet. -Sleeping in a warm summer day can be a challenge: The room was quite hot, without fan or anything else for cooling. I had to open the window until late enough to make sure it's cool outside. Sleeping with the window open was impossible. Not only because there can be cases of occasional random noise from people, vehicles, animals. Mostly due to some kind of bell or large church clock nearby, ringing twice every 30 minutes (:00, :02, :30 and :32) through the whole night apparently. I could hear it even with the window closed, just not so loud to bother me. Therefore, I had to wait until the room is cool enough, close the window and sleep (which means well after midnight due to heatwave). I stayed only for 2 nights (the first was Tuesday) for work and I was away most of the day. So I didn't talk with the host for potential solutions, no idea what can be done.

Das Frühstück wurde bereitgestellt, sogar die frischen Gipfeli waren schon geliefert! Das Hotel ist mitten im Dorf, darum hört man den Strassenlärm. Nichts. Unterwegs mit dem Fahrrad hat man keine gehobenen Ansprüche.

The village is quite small with not many options for eating and drinking, however we had a very good meal at the hotel opposite (the Hotel de Ville).

• Rüdiger (8/5): - Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett. Das Frühstück war gut. Das Zimmer ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber insgesamt ok. Das ganze Haus ist recht charmant!

Fondue au fromage de la laiterie d’à côté servie très bonne. Le hamburger servi est beaucoup moins réussi Chambre encombrée par une grosse armoire et gros bureau ce qui laisse peu de place pour circuler. Oreillers très plats. Le gros point négatif est la ventilation de la salle de bain inexistante ou non fonctionnelle. Des gouttelettes d’eau se forment au plafond à chaque douche et restent stagnantes ainsi que sur les murs. Une odeur de renfermé et d’humidité s’installe vite. L’ouverture des fenêtres ne peut pas compenser car apporte le bruit de la route (rond point juste en dessous) et moustiques le soir Pour la petit déjeuner nous aurions préféré pouvoir nous servir le pain et café plutôt qu’un service à table nécessitant de réclamer pain et café supplémentaires.

• Christian (8/5): - Gutes Angebot an freien Parkplätzen, zentral gelegen, freundlicher Empfang, sehr ruhig. Aufgrund der frühen Abreisezeit (vor der offiziellen Frühstückzeit) , wurde uns fürs Frühstück alles bereitgelegt und wir konnten so trotzdem ausgiebig frühstücken. Toll!
