• Emma (6/5): Pleasant - Thanks for the Brita filter. London water is so bad so that was appreciated. It has a pantry space in the kitchen to put your own food, which is not a given in these sorts of places and is helpful cos London is so expensive. Good mattress. Well provisioned kitchen. Rooms are ok size with good storage. 5 mins to underground. There is places to eat and get groceries within 5 mins walk. Short walk to open space and playground. Very very quiet street. Despite it being underground, there is natural light and it doesn't feel dark at all. Responsive host. Lots of steps which was tricky with big suitcases. I think the main bathroom is trying to be a wet room but it just hasn't been set up properly so your stuff, the towel, the toilet, the loo roll, the bath mat, the sink gets wet. There's no screen or curtain on the shower and you can't remove the head to shower without splashing. There is no window or ventilation so the room gets steamy and doesn't dry out so it smells of mould. The walls haven't been lined with appropriate material for a wet room. Its just plaster board so the dampness has obviously been a problem for years as it looks as though it was painted over. The thermostat was broken on the air con so we couldn't work out how to heat the rooms for a while. Hopefully it's fixed after we left.

Towels were available, and the kitchen was fully equipped with all the utensils you might need. Additionally, the location was excellent, with markets and restaurants nearby. The easy access to the metro made getting around very convenient. I would definitely recommend it and would love to stay here again!” Nothing
