• Dimitriana (4/5): - Δυστυχώς το κατάλυμα δεν άξιζε τα χρήματα που πληρώσαμε. Το σπίτι είναι όμορφο και έχει ωραίο vibe για την εμπειρία του χωριού, όμως χρειάζεται αρκετές και ουσιαστικές βελτιώσεις. Αρχικά, στο σαλόνι δεν υπάρχει AC, μόνο ξυλόσομπα. Αυτό από μόνο του δεν θα ήταν πρόβλημα αν υπήρχαν τα κατάλληλα ξύλα. Υπήρχαν μόνο 3-4 μεγάλα κούτσουρα, χωρίς προσάναμμα, με αποτέλεσμα να πρέπει να βγαίνουμε έξω να μαζεύουμε μικρά ξύλα για να μπορέσει να ανάψει. Μετά από σχεδόν 2 ώρες μεγάλης δυσκολίας, η σόμπα άναψε, αλλά γέμισε το σαλόνι καπνούς. Το πρόβλημα υπήρχε και από πριν, καθώς ο χώρος μύριζε καπνό ήδη, κάτι που δείχνει ότι δεν εξαερίζεται σωστά. Λόγω του καπνού, μας ενόχλησαν τα μάτια, είχαμε ημικρανία και δυσκολία στην αναπνοή, με αποτέλεσμα να μην κοιμηθούμε καλά. Στο κύριο υπνοδωμάτιο τα μαξιλάρια ήταν άβολα. Επίσης, υπάρχει μεγάλο παράθυρο και η πόρτα έχει τζάμια χωρίς καμία κάλυψη (κουρτίνες ή στόρια), με αποτέλεσμα να ξυπνήσουμε πολύ νωρίς από το έντονο φως της ημέρας, επηρεάζοντας ακόμα περισσότερο την ξεκούρασή μας. Το μπάνιο ήταν επίσης μεγάλο θέμα: ελάχιστη πίεση στο ζεστό νερό και εξαιρετικά περίπλοκη διαδικασία για να λειτουργήσει ο θερμοσίφωνας (κουμπί εκτός μπάνιου και ειδικό κουμπί πάνω στον ίδιο τον θερμοσίφωνα που δεν πρέπει να μετακινηθεί, αλλιώς απλώς δεν κάνεις μπάνιο). Κυριολεκτικά πυρηνική επιστήμη. Επιπλέον, το σπίτι δεν ήταν επαρκώς καθαρό κατά την άφιξή μας (υπάρχουν φωτογραφίες). Η κουζίνα επίσης δεν ήταν σωστά εξοπλισμένη: ενώ υπήρχε κατσαρόλα, δεν υπήρχαν μπολ για σούπα ούτε κουτάλα, με αποτέλεσμα να δυσκολευτούμε ακόμα και στο σερβίρισμα ενός απλού φαγητού. Το αποκορύφωμα ήταν την ημέρα του check-out. Ζητήσαμε late checkout (το check-in ήταν στις 15:00 και το check-out στις 11:00) και μας δόθηκε μέχρι τις 12:00. Στις 12:20 ήρθε η ιδιοκτήτρια ενώ ακόμα ετοιμαζόμασταν. Ζήτησα ευγενικά να μας αφήσει 10 λεπτά να καθίσουμε έξω στη βεράντα για να φάμε το πρωινό που είχαμε ήδη ετοιμάσει, όσο καθάριζε μέσα.

• MsKVet (10/5): - The house was very spacious and clean in a beautiful quiet alley. I loved the verandas and their night lighting decoration. You can see that the owner pays attention to detail. We really appreciated the complementary bottle of wine. All in all it was a lovely weekend getaway from the city. It would be nice if the house was equipped with a hairdryer but this was not a problem in the hot summer days as we did not have to dry up our hair after having a shower. Despite the heatwave, the house was so cool that we barely needed to turn on the a/c during the night. Definitely recommended for a summer getaway with friends and exploring the nearby villages. • Karyn (8/5): Very good - The design of the place is a combination of modern and vintage. There is a huge living room and a huge bedroom.. The garden is beautiful, lots of nice furniture. The fire place was cozy.. The kitchen was very convinant . The village was beautiful and we had beautiful walks around. The tavern of the village that us a few minutes walk was nice..on Saturday night there was a nice evening with music and lots of people. Nice atmosphere, very quiet. It was a nice feeling to receive a bottle of wine and some nache for our arrival The pillows were very thin. There is aircondioning only in the bedroom , the living room was very cold , it has to have an aircondioing as well, we were in the spring and still it was cold , so although it was a beautiful living room we couldn't enjoy it because it was cold to sit there. The bathroom was too simple, the shower itself very small. There wasn't enough pressure of the hot water. The coffee machine was excellent but there were only 4 capsule, and the capsule that fitted this machine we could find 15 minutes drive, so we didn't have good coffee every day, which was quite disappointing. Having more capsules would be great.
• Christina (7/5): Very comfortable but too cold. - The property was beautiful! Very spacious and it had everything you needed. It only had a fireplace and no second option for heat in all the property except for the bedroom which had air-condoning. It was way too cold for us.

• Hareklea (7/5): Beautiful, but would not recommend during winter. - It’s a very beautiful house with a lot of character, and you can tell the owner puts a lot of effort and attention to detail into making your stay an exceptional experience. The village is close to Troodos and a number of other villages which makes the location quite practical for touring the area. The main problem with the house is heating. Unfortunately the house was freezing and the fireplace didn’t help much. My kids’ lips were blue from the cold. The shower water was also lukewarm - definitely not hot enough - and so didn’t make for a very nice experience in a very cold house. Although the heater in the bedroom did warm up the room ok, it uses kerosene and the smell was awful (and I wondered how healthy it was for my two very young kids to be breathing it in). This heater is definitely not suitable, especially for a bedroom. I did contact the owner about the smell, who told me it would go away within the first 5-10 minutes if you open the window. However, I found the smell still too much even after doing this. With regard to location, aside from the benefits listed above, the village itself was so quiet it was like a ghost town. I rated the house 7/10 for the beauty and character of the house, practical location and effort of the owner. Had it not been for these I would have rated much much lower as it was really a very uncomfortable and cold experience (which for the price should really not be the case). In the end we were wishing we had just gone to a nice warm hotel. I believe we would have enjoyed the experience a lot more in summer time.
