• Dr. Ursula (9/5): Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und dann vom Landhaus aus auf der Salzstraße zu wandern. - Das Frühstück hatte alles, was man sich wünschen kann, von einem sehr aufmerksamen und herzlichen Gastgeber begleitet. Das Landhaus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, man fühlt sich gleich wohl. Es liegt etwas außerhalb des Zentrums von Bad Ischl, in einer schönen Landschaft und läßt einen nach einem anstrengenden Stadtspaziergang wunderbar entspannen.

• Gregory (8/5): Quaint, cozy, and a friendly owner made all the difference. - The owner was quite friendly and eager to ensure a pleasant stay. We enjoyed the decor and the coziness of the room. As vegetarians we made do, but would have enjoyed a few more breakfast options. The bathroom had an accordion door which perhaps didn’t offer as much of a sound buffer. The recently serviced TV wouldn’t connect (however not crucial for us).
• Michal (6/5): Lovely hosts and very clean - We really appreciated the hosts – they were very welcoming, friendly, and gave us a lot of useful local tips, so one star definitely goes to them. Another star goes to cleanliness – the room was spotless. And the location is great as well. However, the overall experience still felt a bit disappointing for the price. Although everything was clean, the facilities are quite old. The bed especially felt unstable, to the point that we worried it might collapse when moving. The WiFi was also very slow. Another thing that really affected our stay were the strict house rules. No eating is allowed in the room, and there is no kitchen or microwave available, so every time we wanted a snack, it became inconvenient. When we ate in the common area, the host would often come to chat. I understand they were being friendly, but to have a bit more privacy we opted to eat out more often.

• JINYE (1/5): 极差！建议booking下架房源！ - 无 1.房东不诚信，借打扫的名义，未经房客允许，私自进入房间，实际上是为了以捏造的情况向房客勒索所谓的清洁费。 2.房东暴力，在房客尝试沟通时，摔砸房客物品，造成财产损坏；推搡房客，导致房客受伤；言语恐吓威胁侮辱房客，且有种族歧视，造成房客精神伤害。 3.深夜11:30将房客赶出房子，房客在半山腰，既没交通，又无处可去，人身安全得到威胁。 4.尝试联系booking求助，失败告终。 5.质疑事情真相的，房客已就相关情况在当地报警立案。

• Bard (6/5): Het verblijf was o.k. - Gastheer was voorkomend ,maar soms wel iets TE nadrukkelijk aanwezig om zijn gasten terwille te zijn .Gastheer had veel kennis van zaken over de regio en ontstaansgeschiedenis. Nuttig en bruikbaar.Vertelde graag hierover. Het ontbijt was karig, precies afgepast en saai. Gastheer had streng aandoende "regels" op papier gezet , zelfs o.a. met het vooruitzicht van een boete. Dit waarschijnlijk naar aanleiding van slechte ervaringen in het verleden met gasten?!

Majitelé Mark a Nicky jsou velmi příjemní a přátelští - budete se zde cítit jako doma :) Mark nám dal tipy, kam si v městečku Bad Ischl zajít na jídlo a také kam si můžeme zajet na výlety. Dokonce nám Mark ráno ometl auto od sněhu, což nás velmi překvapilo, s tím jsme se ještě nikde nesetkali. Také nás Mark a Nicky mezi sebe přizvali na Silvestra. Pokoj byl moc pěkný, útulný a bylo v něm stále teplo, což jsme velmi uvítali. Moc se nám také líbilo, jak bylo ubytování zařízeno. Rádi bychom se zde vrátili, nechtělo se nám domů. Musí zde být krásně i na jaře anebo v létě. Lokalita je taky super, je to všude blízko :) Přejeme Markovi a Nicky, ať se jim moc daří a rádi jsme je poznali.

• Katrin (10/5): Hat alles sehr gut gepasst :) - Alles sehr unkompliziert. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Frühstück ist sehr einfach gehalten aber genau richtig! Es ist alles sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und man merkt, dass hier sehr nette Menschen dahinter stecken. Falls wir wieder einen Schlafplatz in Ischl brauchen, wird das unsere erste Wahl sein.

• Annabella (10/5): Cozy and pleasant stay - We really loved our short stay at Landhaus Fay! The place has such a cozy, welcoming vibe — the rooms are super cute and comfortable. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, with a really nice selection considering it’s a small B&B. Mark was so friendly and helpful, and even though we arrived quite late, he still made check-in easy for us. Mark and Nicky also sent us clear directions to find the B&B, which was super helpful — definitely recommend using Google Maps, as Waze got a bit confused! Honestly, it’s a shame we only stayed one night — we’d happily come back for a longer visit next time! The only small thing was that we got a bit nervous figuring out how to get out of the parking — nothing negative, just need to be a little careful.

• HAITANG (7/5): Wonderful nature but is a bit far away from the main town - The guest house is located in a quiet mountain village, surrounded by beautiful and serene scenery. Since it's in the mountains, Uber is not available to get to here; you can only take a taxi at the station. Please note that there are no buses for Bad Ishl after 6:00 PM, and there may also be no taxis available if it rains. Most of the public transport operates starts from 7:00-18:00 so I would recommend if you come to visit here by car . There is some rules to follow in this guesthouse, it’s fare enough but just want to share so you would know what to follow if you decide to stay here. ◦ No self-catering ◦ No preparing of food or eating food in the bedroom ◦ No washing of clothes in the bathroom ◦ Please respect the Quiet Time - 22.00-07.00 ◦ Please respect the areas and rooms that are unauthorised for guests ◦ Please do not misuse the towels that are provided ◦ Any damage to rooms or towels will be charged additionally

The location is very calm, yet just a few minutes from the center. The interior is superb and charming, with all the details of a ski house. Rooms were clean, well prepared, and included all the instructions we needed. The kitchen with coffee, tea, and water was always available. The owner, Mark, was extremely helpful—he advised us on bike routes around the lakes and even sent back my ID card, which I had left at the property. 100% recommended! Honestly, there’s nothing to improve. Everything was great and I simply want to come back. 😊

Our room was in the 1st floor with a beautiful panoramic view. The room is spacious, lovely. We found purity everywhere. Detailed directions sent to get to this location. A challenge with the curved driveway getting out and some protruding bushes that scratched the side of the car.

The kitchen is - Very quite place, friendly housekeeper, who was keen on to advice and suggest the best sightseeing places to visit. It was hard to find and reach sockets. With big car and not experienced driver it can be dangerous to reach the parking lot, especially at dark time.

Worth mentioning it's like 30 min walk to Bad Ischl or 5 minutes with car.

They run the most lovely and relaxing place in an awesome location if you like some quiet time. You are at the edge of town almost inside the forest and with an incredible view of the snowy mountains surrounding you. The breakfast is very good and has everything you would expect. The room was amazing, so neatly organized and clean and we could see the attention that was given to the room in every little detail. The bed is super comfy and the shower is huge. Really amazing value for money ( I think that they should charge more for the room hahaha). • Caroline (10/5): Very enjoyable stay in a pretty BnB, with friendly and welcoming hosts - Mark and Nikky were very welcoming hosts, they made our stay very comfortable. Mark also gave us loads of help and advice in planning our trips and hikes in the area. The BnB is a really pretty, traditional house in a stunning, quiet village. The room was really comfortable and homely, and very clean. We really appreciated that the hosts made an effort to make sure we had plenty of vegan things to eat for the breakfast (since we are vegan). Overall, we loved the friendly and laid back vibe of the BnB.
• Zsuzsanna (10/5): Exceptional - The hospitality and helpfulness of Nicky and Mark was extraordinary throughout our entire stay of 6 nights. They were helping us a lot to make the most of our stay in this area, that is stunning! We couldn't have wished for better hosts and if we would return in this area any time in the future we would choose this lovely B&B again and again. The included breakfast was nice and filling and the genuine helpfulness and kindness of our hosts truly outstanding! The location of Landhaus Fay is really beautiful and the room that we stayed in cosy and comfortable. Lovely lovely place to stay! • Tomas (10/5): Excellent - I was given room upstairs with balcony and reality is better than the pictures on booking. Rooms are very clean. I liked the area, very quiet and peaceful outside of the city center. Walking to the center of Bad Ischl is 20min, 5 min by car. I liked the garden with tables and chairs where you relax or bring your coffee or beer. Owners are great, very helpful and friendly. They are there for their guests. I had no issue during the stay and I can recommend it.

• Mariia (10/5): Amazing. Big thanks to the hostess - Amazing couple who owns the house provided us with such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We really enjoyed even though we had just one night there Could have been a bit cheaper:))) but it’s adequate compared to market price
• Martina (10/5): Exceptional - The room and the common areas are very lovingly decorated, with nice details. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast excellent. Very kind and polite host, with whom we had great conversations, while he was also perfectly aware of our privacy. Everything was perfect!
• Karl (9/5): Superb - Mark and Nicky were great hosts. We got very good breakfast. We came there this year, 12 years after the last stay. Still as pleasant as it was. We are planning to be back, hopefully soon :-)
• Johann (10/5): Landhaus Fay is one of the best places to stay for a couple of days. - This location is nice, quiet, cleanly, the owner is friendly. We are absolutely happy having chosen this very property! Sorry, there is nothing whatsoever that comes to my mind.
