- Paula (10/5): Great stay in Achada San Filipe - The property is in a developing neighborhood so it's mostly locals, no tourists and therefore really safe. The owner of the property was fantastic. We couldn't ask for more. We actually booked twice because of how welcomed we felt. If I ever go back to Cape Verde I would book his property again. I can't say anything because it was exactly what I expected. A no frills and no luxuries. Just an honest place that goes with what you pay. However, we did stay for one night in the apartment and that was luxury.
