- Kelly (1/5): STAY AWAY!!!! - The location was great and that’s pretty much the only thing that was ok with this property. We will never stay here again. From the moment we arrived, the property was in unacceptable condition. The bedsheets were disgusting, with visible stains, and the rooms were clearly not properly cleaned. The TV did not work, the small couch in the front room was broken, the pool was dirty, and the air conditioning was not working at all. After our stay, I read through previous reviews and saw that these same issues have been mentioned repeatedly since 2023, which makes it clear they were never addressed. I reported all of these problems to the owner during our stay and received passive-aggressive responses instead of solutions. Now, nearly 8 weeks later, the owner is falsely claiming that we stole a speaker and broke chairs. I had to provide timestamped photos to prove this was untrue—which I did. This place is poorly maintained, badly managed, and the follow-up behaviour from the owner is completely unprofessional. It’s more like a glorified run down town house. Stay away. This place is disgraceful.

I would say it’s the perfect place to chill, all of our group said how relaxed they felt at Riptides Booker bay. Such a warm welcome from the owners and the hot jacuzzi topped it up and was enjoyed by all. I would definitely recommend Riptides Booker Bay and we hope to visit again.
