Guest Reviews
- Masood (10/5): -
- Khalilli (5/5): Passable -
- Goran (4/5): The rental is on the ground floor of a villa that has two more floors where other people live, but you still have your o - The location is excellent—you can visit everything on foot. The arena is nearby, as well as the city center. We didn’t use the car at all.
Unfortunately, in Rome, there is almost no chance of finding a free parking spot on the street—parking is paid everywhere. We were lucky that there was a courtyard for parking, but the entrance was extremely narrow, with only about 2 cm of space on each side of the car to pass through.
You have your own private courtyard with a barbecue, offering privacy and comfort. The apartment is spacious, with a large living room and a well-equipped kitchen. The villa is very old, and the furniture is mostly antique. The bathrooms are also very old, so don’t expect a modern accommodation.
- Adriana (9/5): Great accommodation in Rome, would love to stay here again! - Very nice accommodation! Amazing location, a bit outside the historic center, but very easily reachable. Just near Porta Latina of the Aurelian Walls. Less than 30 minutes walking to the Colosseum. The nearest metro station is around 20 minutes away. However, we ended not using the metro, but using buses instead, which worked perfectly, as there are various bus stations less than 5 minutes away. Nice park right near the accommodation. Good size supermarket nearby (Todis), a traditional mercato, cafes and restaurants pretty close. I really enjoyed the location and neighborhood, as it gave me an authentic and less touristic vibe, feeling like we were living among the locals, but at the same right near ancient Rome ruins. Really liked that.
Large and comfortable areas inside the house. Nice little terrace outside. Hot water and good temperature inside (we travelled in the beginning of January).
Very good and quick communication with the hosts, they were among the politest hosts I’ve ever met! We arrived earlier than the standard check-in times, and although the rooms were not cleaned yet, they allowed us to get inside and leave our luggage, which was very helpful. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again! Check-in and check-out times are a bit too late/ too early (check-in 4 pm, check-out 10 am). It would be nice to have an earlier check-in or at least a bit later check-out. However, I’ve seen this practice of check-out this early at other accommodations in Rome as well.
A coffee machine would be nice.
Not a weak point, but keep in mind that the interior of the house is not a modern one, if you are looking for something like that, but rather has a more classic, older vibe. You feel that you are living in a house with character and history, and not in a standard hotel room. For me this worked perfectly, as this was the vibe that I was looking for.
- Yun (10/5): If I come back to Roma again will choose this house again. - Very good apartment!! Clean and fantastic!!!! House owner is also very kindly! Easy simple and answer quick!!!
- Ping (10/5): Perfect location for four people - Very big, comfortable to fit four peoples, great location, has two bathroom, really safe The shower curtain, lack of instructions including the wifi password location
- Ewelch004 (10/5): Amazing place in a quiet little area. - The villa was amazing, very comfortable and a great place. Was a short notice move and the staff was great. The place is as expected in a residential area, so a little hard to get to the normal mass transit system of Rome. There are some food places in walking distance, but if you want to get to a lot of the historical "downtown" you will need to use bus or a good hike to nearest metro station. This does lead to a very quiet stay, low street traffic and once inside we heard nothing. The setup would allow for a great family location.
- Mike (9/5): Very comfortable - The size, the artifacts in the home. Easy to get transportation into Roma but very difficult to get a cab on the way back. To many people not enough taxis
- Grace (10/5): We had a wonderful stay beautiful apartment so close to everything 💙 - It’s very homely & nicely furnished. We made some lovely friends that work across the road at Cafe Nini. We practically ate breakfast & dinner there it was delicious.
