Guest Reviews
- Emilie (5/5): It was okay - It was okay. The bed was clean but the place needs a good clean. There are cob web webs everywhere, I didn’t really want to touch anything.
- Baoshuai (10/5): -
- Natalia (8/5): Very good -
- Lily (7/5): Very mediocre for how it was advertised - Convenient location inside The Vintage so easy access to the on site restaurant Nineteen which was a great place to have brekky as it opened early. Some of the opened windows in the bathroom didn't have a fly screen so when we arrived, the bathroom had multiple mozzies and bugs flying around with spider web hanging down from the ceiling corners. I then had to locate the broomstick and vaccun cleaner to clean the bathroom myself and kill the bugs before we had even unpacked as my son reacts badly to mozzie bites
Also, the bedrooms had mats that were extremely slippery to walk on and were only secured on 1 side by the bed legs. After l slipped a couple of times walking on it and my daughter tripped and slipped over on the one in the kids room, I had to tuck them back under the bed out of the way. They were very dangerous additions
As well, the house is advertised as Japanese tea house which was a misnomer. 3 kimonos on walls as decorations does not a Japanese tea house make. There wasn't even proper tea bags left inside the T2 tea tubs ie the tub said 1 flavour but the inside tea bags didn't match at all.
It would also be nice to have a proper coffee table at the large sofa instead of having a massive ottoman
All first world problems I realise but I did have higher expectations given how it was advertised and previous reviews. Unfortunately, it isn't a place I would be happy to go back to again
- Alan (9/5): Superb - Fantastic location and beautiful home with individual characteristics. A wonderful space to relax and switch off. The porch looks out onto bushland and the Vintage golf course. Fortunate enough to see Kangaroos each day whilst enjoying a sundowner on the porch. Highly recommended. Nothing in particular.
- Robyn (9/5): Great spot, and excellent house for furry friends - Great for the pets. Very comfortable The doonas on the bed could be wider especially on the cold nights. Refill of wood for the fire pit would be appreciated
- Aakash (9/5): Saw Kangaroos 100 metres from the property. - Beautiful location Nothing
- Mathew (8/5): Lovely Getaway to Hunter Valley - location, friendly host and ammenties
- Robyn (10/5): Great for a pet friendly trip - Very quiet. Booked as it was dog friendly and the property was perfect. Fully fenced with lovely walks. pet friendly cafe within walking distance as well. Nothing
