• MK (4/5): Very Victorian like a blast from the past - Central location, plenty of shops in the neighborhood. Near flat, has character. Includes a little garden. Could do with a renovation. The windows were so dirty that I initially thought it was foggy outside. The bed was completely worn out.

Les odeurs de la salle de bain qui inondent la chambre sont indescriptibles. Le matelas très mou qui lorsqu'on est assis, on se retrouve les fesses en dessous des genoux, avec des draps trop petit qui éclatent à chaque coin du lit. Toutes les fourchettes qui se cassent en deux à la première bouchée. Les chaises de la table à manger qui se déboitent à chaque mouvement.

• Griswold (6/5): Church Street is a perfect place for a London visit. - Location, location, location! Nice compact kitchen, lots of dishes, utensils, pans. Living room/dining room were roomy, that was nice. Too bad some of that space could not have been transferred to the bedroom The bed was inadequate. The pillows were extremely uncomfortable, and the sheets kept slipping off the bed. There was one tiny nightstand on one side and a wall on the other. The bathroom was on a lower level off the bedroom, requiring several steps down—a very awkward setup. The backyard was a nice feature, though the grounds were unkept.

• Sandra (10/5): Style and comfort in the heart of Kensington - I booked the property at the last minute after arriving at Heathrow Airport as my previous Booking.com host cancelled my paid accommodation two days before I was due to arrive. The team at this property were exceptional with their communication as soon as the booking was confirmed and no request during my entire stay was too hard. The property itself is very cute and central in Kensington (100m from the High St). Perfect for a couple. The decor is very tasteful and stylish. The first couple of days was interrupted regularly with works going on in the flat above me which seemed to go on past working hours but the Management worked very hard to get the Building Mangement to stop it which did occur for the rest of my stay.

Definitely would stay ag - Location was great, amazingly quiet, right next to Sainsbury’s and over coffee shop with amazing pastries that we could smell to in the morning (a good thing!). Walk to Hyde Park and museums, two close train stops. Bike hire with nearby drop off. Picking up key a couple blocks away was inconvenient when arriving and leaving with luggage because we took a car. It is right on the way to the train station though.

Beware of This Apartment – A Truly Awful and Dangerous Experience I had a distressing and unsafe experience with the agent/landlord of this apartment, and I strongly advise caution if you consider staying here, even with the positive reviews posted by others. Here’s what I endured: 1. Unusable Bathroom and Poor Living Conditions • The toilet is located in an unbearably cold basement, making it practically impossible to use, especially during winter. • The kitchen sink only has either scalding hot or freezing cold water, which was extremely inconvenient. • During my stay, the temperature was 3°C, and the apartment was so poorly insulated that I went four days without being able to shower. 2. Unbearable Noise and Smell from the Café Below • Below the bedroom is a café that opens at 7 a.m. The loud music and strong smells of coffee, baked goods, and greasy food were constant disturbances. 3. Terrifying Heating System • The gas heater, located in the kitchen, was old, noisy, and alarming. Each time it turned on, it made loud noises and displayed error messages like “flame failure,” which made me afraid to use hot water or rely on it for heating. • Eventually, the heating system broke entirely, leaving the apartment colder than the freezing outdoors. The agent spent an entire day inside trying to find someone to fix it, only to be told that replacement parts had to be ordered. 4. Unprofessional and Abusive Behavior by the Agent • After enduring five nights of misery, I asked for a refund to move to a hotel for the final two nights. The agent initially agreed but later retracted the offer, claiming I could only get a refund if I agreed not to leave a review. • When I insisted on my right to leave an honest review, he became hostile, yelling, filming me without consent, and threatening to blame me for the heater’s failure. He even threatened to go to the police for no apparent reason. 5. Lack of Support from the Booking Platform • I contacted Booking.

• Allgreenrobots (4/5): Dull, uncomfortable experience - Excellent location, close to restaurants, the underground, Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. Very dull inside, with a musky smell that hits you every time you walk in the front door. Photos made the space look brighter than it is. The bedroom, bathroom and kitchen are very cramped. No space for suitcases other than in the living room or dining room. Place is fully carpeted, and bathroom floor is very uneven. Toilet had a leak which soaked the carpet on the stairway, and attracted flies. Shower temperature fluctuates and you will have periods of cold water during your shower.

A Sainsbury Local is 1 minute away and kitchen has microwave and everything needed. No AC as typical in UK but has a fan. The host is super nice: Met us at nearby location and agreed to keep our luggages after checkout. Room needs better ventilation after bath or in hot days. We kept the windows open to allow in fresh air. This is not a complaint given it is a Victorian building in the busy city centre.

It was on a quiet street that was just one block east of a street with shopping, restaurants and Pubs. Bayswater Tube Station is as close as advertised. It was a great value for what it provides someone want to discover London. The kitchen and hallway where a bit tight for our full-size American bodies to be in at the same time.

Despite a few hiccups, our agent was fantastic, making our experience stress-free. The location is excellent, close to Bayswater/Queensway stations with beautiful parks and main streets nearby. We could easily find daily necessities and souvenirs at nearby shops. The bed ensured a restful sleep, and the kitchen was well-equipped with almost all the cooking utensils we needed. Additionally, there was enough shelf space in each room, making storage hassle-free. Overall, I'm so satisfied. Thank you so much! The flat was also very clean. Would stay there again. The only thing we can think of is the kitchen is a little under equipped. There were several parties that went on til the wee hours of the morning but it’s not something the property can control. In general we found it a very nice place to stay.
