• Jm (10/5): The place to stay in - Very nice and clean studio with all what you need for a short or long stay. The host is very friendly and ready to help. It is close to shops and 15-minute away walking from Taksim Square NA
• Sandra (10/5): Central location, neat space, great host - Perfect location near main shopping street Istikal, but far enough away to be surrounded by cheap eats and shops where locals go, very accommodating and responsive host, apartment is not huge but has everything you need including good Wifi, a water filter for unlimited drinking water, fully equipped kitchen and a small balcony. Unfortunately, power outages are quite common in Istanbul. Usually it is just a few minutes, but we had a major one that lasted for a whole day from morning to evening. However, Ed and Dogan managed the situation well by keeping us informed and offering a mobile power supply for charging our phones. So in the end, we had no real interruption of our holiday :)
• Mr (8/5): Very good - Great location it's where the action. Bed is comfy and spacious enough for two people. We love the lighting in the room and easy to get in and out. Restaurants and grocery stores around it super easy to find . Overall we enjoyed it and we will come back Sewer problem it's smells and need attention but we understand the building is old and not sure if they can do something about it .
• Rosario (3/5): Buyers Beware! Know the area before booking - Clean and supplied with basics. I like that it has a laundry facility. We left after one night and let go of our 5 night reservation. Beware! My husband went out to get something to eat at around 9:30 PM. He was robbed. He lost his phone and 2 credit cards. Our first night was a nightmare. Biyoglu is huge but the area where the building is located is less to be desired. It is in or a few blocks from Tarlabasi The Main Street in the day time is okay.

• Maria (8/5): Very enjoyable and comfortable - The flat was delightful, it was close to a lots of transport and some attractions, my only complaint was the narrow spiral stairs which were hard to negotiate with a suitcase.

• Sheri (10/5): Perfect spot for a few days in Istanbul - Clean and spacious, excellent shower, extremely well-equipped kitchen, both AC and radiant heaters, shared washer/dryer in basement, small terrace (view pictured below), no street noise heard from room. Tricky staircase to navigate with bags (fourth floor, no elevator).
