• Dominik (1/5): - Nie dość, ze łazienka jest poza pokojem, gdzie była podana informacja, ze łazienka jest w pokoju to gosc, który przekazywał klucze byl niewiarygodnie natrętny. Wydzwaniał od samego rana, żebyśmy sie pospieszyli bo on czeka, gdzie mial informacje, ze przyjedziemy między 17:30 a 18:00. Po wielokrotnym ponagleniu i wypytywaniu mnie co mi tak dlugo zajmuje (co juz jest dosc osobliwe) napisal, zebysmy nie marnowali jego czasu i byli jak najszybciej. Gdy napisalem, ze godzine zakwaterowania zaznaczylem miedzy podanym wyżeji godzinami to napisał ze może laskawie poczekać maksymalnie do 17:30. Nie polecam, nigdy więcej!

• Ania (6/5): It wasn’t a bad stay, place was relatively clean. Not bad value for money. - The host was very accommodating, agreed to meet us before the check in time and hand the keys, he was very responsive. The location is great, close to different metro lines and bus stops. There are also shops were close by. Unfortunately it is not clear that the booking is for a room in a shared apartment. We had separate bathroom, but it was down a hall, so it wasn’t the most private. People or the host were walking around, and as the walls are not the thickest it could be annoying.

• Witlox (1/5): Je verblijft bij iemand op een bovenkamertje - . Wanneer we aankwamen kwamen we er pas achter dat we bij iemand in een appartement zaten. Dit staat nergens vermeld. Er woont iemand bij je in dezelfde woning. Het appartment is heel smerig en is rommelig met lakens die ergens in een kastje zijn gepropt. Wij zijn na aankomst meteen een ander hotel gaan boeken en zijn niet meer terug gegaan naar het appartement.

• Kathi (7/5): Really nice host, good value for money in East London -- would come again - The host was great and available for all questions. Location is great and the room is relatively spacious for London! Private bathroom with own key (not ensuite but right next to bedroom). Small kitchen facility as well. The cleanliness was good but not amazing, which is fair for a private host instead of a hotel with daily cleaners.

• Lisa (8/5): Great for a 1 night - Excellent value for money, fantastic location, clean and warm and handy for a short stay. Comfy bed. The check in procedure is very limited (short time frame) and it was a bit inconvenient for my purposes as I had events to attend to which had to be cut short… just to pick up a key. When booking online a 1 hour time slot was stated - that would’ve been fine but on the day it was moved earlier which put me out a bit. A key box or another way to collect keys would be better.

You can hear the other guest but that’s something you can expect for this price. Anyway we had lovely stay. We were not a lot in the room but the time we were there it was great

• James (10/5): Host is a legend. Bed sit is as ideal as you could want it to be - The host (legend) stayed up till 10 for us with our delayed train into London and let us in nice and easy. He explained everything clearly and the place was lovely. The location made it easy to get to. Best budget bed sit in London for sure! Wish we weren’t staying for 1 night only as the cooking facilities were that good we could have made more out of it.
• Baffour (4/5): Disappointing - The location is good, very close to central London Property was advertised as ensuite but it is NOT ensuite. Yes you have access to a private bathroom but you have to exit your room to access it. Kitchen is a make shift one.

• Tereza (4/5): I do not recommend. Not clean. Moldy shower - Our experience at this property was quite disappointing. The place was not clean upon our arrival, and the owner was still "cleaning" when we got there, which was unprofessional. Additionally, he asked us to give him a high rating, which felt very inappropriate. The bathroom was moldy and the rooms sink had a persistent bad smell coming from the drain. The lack of a proper kitchen was also a major letdown; a hot plate does not constitute a kitchen. If these issues were addressed, the place might have been decent, but as it stands, I cannot recommend it.
• Hope (3/5): The location was good but an all round average accommodation - Advertising was a bit off didn't realise it was in a house with other people. The shower had mould and just dusty/dirty in general.

• Jake (1/5): Not a good place to stay - Shower was nice that’s the only thing I expected an apartment which advertised on the site and it was a shared accommodation which I didn’t want ! Should have stated on on site that it’s a shared place and the area wasn’t pleasant at all many people come up to me trying to invite me back to there place ! Hair was on the bed sheet !!!! Window was falling apart Dust everywhere And the Owner had the cheek to say to me “I let u in early ok put me 10/10 on review” He stayed in the apartment made me feel really uncomfortable cleaning and the smell just smelt of damp mops Woke up to kids banging downstairs and shouting at 7am so had to get out Would never come back unfortunately
• Anna (6/5): Pleasant - Location was good, had own bathroom which was nice, all the doors locked, owner was quick with answers, apartment was fairly clean, bethnal green high street was two minutes away, owner was friendly advertised as a full apartment with a kitchen which it wasn't, kitchen was a portable stove in room, unfortunately saw some silverfish slithering around they didn't bother me though.

Very good support of booking.com customer service helping us to get the room, as it looked like a disaster when the owner informed about his intent to cancel the reservation just few days before our arrival. The customer reviews seems to be correct. Would be glad to have those before booking. We were lucky not to see (just hear) guests from other rooms of this One-Bedroom Apartment. • Thibault (2/5): Misleading description - Location is ok, 20 minutes bus from Liverpool Street. This is not a private apartment but 3 units over 2 floors. Some rooms have a bathroom outside in a corridor, so you have to cross a communal space. Listed amenities are plain wrong, room has a mini fridge, microwave, stove (also no space to cook or eat but sitting on the bed). There is no washing machine. Sound proofing is decent but you still hear people entering/leaving, water, neighbours... Room was not done when we arrived (waited 1h30) and overall this is not very clean. Check in process is thru WhatsApp, not very flexible on time. Pictures are from 1 out of 3 rooms so you don't know what you're booking.
• Laura (5/5): Passable - The host told us to be puntual for the check in (he only let us do the check in after 6 pm) so we arrived there at 6 pm and the room wasn’t ready. The host told us that the bathroom was private and it wasn’t, we had to shared it with another room. I recommend this room only for one night.
• Jay (3/5): Poor - The neighborhood was pretty nice, despite what others said about it's reputation. This should be described as a shared space. It is in a flat with 2 other rooms. The bathroom is in the hallway, so you have to get fully dressed to use it. The sheet barely covered the mattress, although the hotel we ended up switching to didn't have a fitted sheet either, maybe that's just a thing in the UK? The TV turned on... but had no reception. We decided halfway through our stay to book somewhere else and when I tried to arrange a way to return the key... no response. So I had to uber back over there to drop off on the way to the airport.
• Lilopeach (9/5): Great - We appreciated the kindness and availability of the host. The accommodation is a 10-minute walk from the "bethnal green" metro stop. It is equipped with wifi, TV, kitchenette, fridge, kettle and toaster. Comfortable bedding. The neighborhood may seem off-putting given its location, but there are some nice little bars and restaurants. I would have liked to know that this was an apartment with three room rentals and that the bathroom was shared. Although we didn't mind. We kept our privacy as it should be.
