Guest Reviews
- Roger (8/5): Great spot and suited our needs perfectly . - Beautiful spot. New, Clean and comfortable. when booking from Booking .com the rate was per bed not overall house rate.
- Yvette (10/5): A home away from home - just with a better view! - The whole setup feels so homely, yet luxurious. Perfectly appointed for having a large family gathering and the layout lends itself to easily to living inside and out. Nothing. Everything was perfect.
- Zhan (9/5): -

- Janice (10/5): Fantastic accommodation for group perfect for exploring the Grampians - Spacious, comfortable beds, beautiful setting, close to shops and hiking trails, car battery charging
- Sue (10/5): Halls Gap is a lovely holiday destination. We had beautiful weather for a lovely day at the Zoo and mini-golf. Our Seren - Location was amazing. The house was perfect for our group of three couples. The only things missing were pepper and spare garbage bags.
- Yvonne (10/5): -
- Guerra (10/5): We had a fun and relaxing stay, met the owner and he great. - Perfect location close to town, close to lots of walks. Great modern house with great bathrooms and bedroom. Great kitchen and living area and wonderful fire pit Not really
- Shiri (9/5): Superb - The house is amazing, everything is new and clean, perfect location, dreamy back yard and balcony. We'd definitely come back. The beds mattresses (all of them) were really uncomfortable. Soft and bumpy. That is the only thing we didn't like at the house, which is a shame because everything else was perfect.
- Karen (9/5): Superb - Great modern house with just a short walk into Halls Gap. Lots of kangaroos and kookaburra visit near the house. The house is very comfortable with lots of space for all guests.
- Denise (9/5): Superb - Beautiful, peaceful location. Fabulous facilities. Everything you need. Suited our group of 4 couples. Comfortable beds. Was lacking wine glasses, but extra were delivered to the house when asked. I'm disappointed that there is a huge price increase to book in 12 months.
- Ashleigh (9/5): We had a lovely weekend with plenty of space for our whole family! House was very well appointed! -
- Anne (9/5): Superb - Fabulous location, plenty of room for whole group to sit around a table inside or outside, generally very spacious and well equipped. A couple of minor maintenance jobs eg loose handles on robes.
- Thilak (9/5): clean comfortable new property - the living room and the bedroom both facing the NP is the best Heating in ground floor rooms is not sufficient
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional - Really spacious and comfortable property with a well equipped kitchen. Very clean and well kept. All instructions and communications with the owner were easy and clear. Loved waking up to the kangaroos at the back of the property. Glad we found this place and will book again next time we're in the area.
- Anthony (8/5): Very good - Classy looking accoms
- Robyn (9/5): Fabulous stay in Grampians - Fabulously appointed house in quiet peaceful location close to town. The location was perfect. The living areas great for groups of people. Spacious warm and comfortable. Modern appliances
- Henza05 (10/5): Excellent!!! - Very modern and clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. I couldn't say a bad thing about this place. 10/10
- Jodes (10/5): Warm space lots off laughter felt like home - What an absolute gem.
So spacious so accommodating loved everything about this hideaway
- Edwina (10/5): A wonderful place to relax and unwind, great for small or large groups, highly recommend. - The location was stunning, with beautiful wildlife at the door step. The facilities were excellent, with a great variety of utensils and kitchen accessories, you could happily stay for a very long period without having to think of bringing anything with you. Perfect place for 4 friends to catch up and enjoy all Halls Gap has to offer, hiking trails right out the back door. The dimplex heater which gave a great ambience, would have been fantastic if it had actually heated also. The split system did a great job in the main living area at heating, but to stand in front of the Dimplex and warm yourself would have just topped off a lovely space, particularly on the cooler mornings.
- Jennifer (9/5): Great for a few people staying, fabulous outlook, spacious, clean, and with good amenities. - Fabulous location, quiet and peaceful. Kangaroos, deer and emu wandered past the house foraging for food. An easy walk into town for supplies. Kitchen facilities excellent. Bed was super comfortable. The exhaust fan in upstairs bathroom not very efficient. Bathroom steamed up, and mirrors steamed over. This will probably cause a mould issue over time. No heating in the bathroom, which made it cold, especially considering Halls Gap is in a cold location. Would have been good to have had an electric blanket on the bed, and a couple of spare blankets. Doona's can be too hot for some people.
- Margaret (10/5): Wonderfully comfortable and nature right at the doorstep! - The free-standing house is large and very comfortable for families. The setting is truly wonderful, looking directly out to the National Park with its abundant kangaroos and birdlife. We loved having close views of joeys in pouches! It was fabulously quiet, and the beds were so warm and comfy that we all slept really well. A huge bonus was being able to head directly from the house to some nice walks. We could also easily walk to the centre of town for supplies, nice to not have to use a car. The showers were great. Thoroughly recommended.
- Lin (10/5): Clean and comfortable - quiet Convenient transportation
- Philip (9/5): Superb - Too many people are feeding the wild life to the point where the kookaburra s are very dangerous
- John (10/5): Excellent overall. Same comments as for 4 -
- Michael (9/5): Terrific stay in a well-appointed house in a superb location. - Great location on the edge of the National Park. We saw emus, kookaburras and kangaroos from our back balcony.
Spacious and all fittings were of good quality. Indeed the kitchen was so fully fitted that it was hard finding where things (eg forks, bowls) were/where they went! With a little patience, easy to work out, however.
We were taking UK visitors for their first exposure to the Grampians and I don't think we could have done better for accommodation. A couple of tiddlers, neither that important. Downstairs bathroom toilet flush mechanism was loose- needs to be tightened. Big 4-slice toaster in kitchen. Only the right-hand two worked. These are just letting you know, not complaints!
- Mei (8/5): Nice House - Very nice location, clean and tidy. The kitchen equipment and cooking utensils are complete. There are some insects that fly into the house and on the bed.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Delwyn (10/5): Excellent venue and great value for money. Spotlessly clean and fantastic location - Plenty of space, fantastic location, great amenities No fly screen on the sliding doors
- Nikki (10/5): Great, clean, private and tidy. - Plenty of space, enjoyed having private bathrooms
- Aun (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janice (10/5): Amazing!!! - Great quality and quantity of kitchen equipment, dining utensils, plates, serving bowls etc . Idealic setting, beautiful view and walking distance to the centre of Halls Gap. Great outdoors areas including a fire pit. Comfortable beds. Perfect for our group of 4 couples.
- Judith (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amanda (10/5): Great house and so relaxing - Great outlook to bush and mountains, very quiet (apart from frogs) close walk to main street so spacious and great to have so many bathrooms will come again Flies may need to put a flyscreen door on double doors to outside.
- Caterina (10/5): Wonderful stay - Perfect location
The house was amazing you did not want for anything
Beds were so comfortable
The fire pit was the star of the show Instructions for the induction stovetop would have helped
- Jordan (10/5): Exceptional - The fire place didn’t pump out any heat!
- Naomi (10/5): Immaculate family holiday destination- stay here to relax and emerge yourself in nature! - Beautiful location, clean, tidy and everything you could want or need. It was very cold on entry so maybe turn heaters in before guest arrival.
Plenty of heaters though so it’s did warm up after a while!
