- Jonathan (10/5): A perfect garden retreat - This is one of the cutest places I've ever stayed, a quiet garden retreat in Rome. The host has thought of everything you could need, and supplied it. The garden out back is pure bliss, and the living space itself is carefully considered. It's cozy, for sure, but it's light and airy, too. I'd suggest that it's ideal for couples; it's a bit too small for families with children. Listen to Delia's recommendations, too--she has given a a lot of thought to the best restaurants, bakeries, and shops in the area! Nothing. Literally nothing could have improved our stay. This place is perfect. I cannot recommend highly enough.
