Guest Reviews
- Sharon (7/5): - Bundeena is a treasure. It's like stepping back in time. Gorgeous beaches.
View out windows to ocean are lovely.
Beds were comfortable. Linens were nice.
Lots of lovely coffee table books. It is an old building with numerous additions.
No TV for movies.
One bathroom and toilet for 4 rooms that accommodates eight people.
A washing machine but no dryer. One drying rack for six people over a rainy long weekend was not enough.
Only a few coathangers.
Windows in the bedroom on oceanside were loose. They rattled and whistled like a banshee all night.
Loungers have low backs. Look good but not very comfortable.
The dining table only has stools. Not chairs.
- Michaela (6/5): Rustic retro - Bundeena is an excellent location for exploring the National Park It is an old unrenovated property that has been well styled inside but the house rattles and leaks in the rain and wind and the outside areas are unkempt.
- Kateryna (10/5): - Beautiful house, very well equipped. Has a character. Charming interior and nice views. Beds are very comfy. Nothing. Everything was great.
- Anna (10/5): - This place is set up wonderfully, a very thoughtfully created space which offers comfort surrounded by natural beauty.
The house is perfect for nature adventures, beach chills, lazy days and unbelievably comfortable sleep! Nothing, we truly loved our stay and will definitely be back!
- Kay (9/5): -
- Chi (10/5): Love to do it again! - The furnishing are bespoke and interesting, unlike many managed rental. I feel the owners touch and it is made for a relaxing and meditative environment. We are a family with grown up children and had a fantastic time playing board games, cooking, watching movie and hiking in the Royal national park. It felt like home, curated by like minded people.
- Peter (8/5): Fantastic location. Comfortable 1950’s home. Wonderful hosts. - Nice view, comfortable beds, excellent hosts and a very homely feel. All mod cons provided (except TV). Excellent National Park walks from the door stop and beautiful beaches within a 10 min walk. Only one toilet and shower for up to 8 guests. Manageable but …
It is a 1950’s home so expected some limitations on design.
- Denis (10/5): - Beautiful house with tasteful decoration. Very, very comfortable and wonderfully quiet. A perfect getaway from the city. We loved our stay and will definitely return! Wish we could have stayed longer!
- Alison (7/5): - Backing onto bushland with easy access to National Park, and water views. Range of appliances. Light and airy. Older house, trying to update but electricals struggle.
- Jennifer (9/5): Well presented and comfortable stay with a great view and all the extras that you need when you’re away from home. - Great presentation and location, everything we needed was there and the bed was very comfortable. Driveway was a little tricky. Not a big deal.
- Lauren (9/5): A very enjoyable stay for a group and esp close to the start of the Royal coast track and about 10min walk to the shops. - Spacious; very well equipped; very comfortable beds and thoughtful host. This was a well equipped home and only thing missing was an indoor clothesline as we had wet weather.
- Tuffin (9/5): Superb -
- Damon (7/5): It was excellent, great space. - The place is spacious and very well stocked. I liked that there were pantry staples, tea & coffee, series herbs etc all available. There were plenty of towels, and tea towels etc. They need to leave instructions. Like how to use the projector that they use for a tv and what the wi-fi password is. We spent the first night there wandering around trying to find the listed 'flat screen TV' (we have older kids and we were heading out for the night- had to leave them without finding it). Also, unless you really rate your reversing skills, I wouldn't park in the driveway. 🤣
- Caitlin (9/5): A comfortable and convenient stay! - Very clean and tidy. The beds were very comfortable and the owner was very helpful.
I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m in Bundeena
- Julie (10/5): Great house for group catch up relaxing - Location, view , very clean . Well stocked kitchen . Comfortable beds. Rattley windows in the wind .
- Ann (8/5): Quirky fun place - would recommend - Very comfortable beds
Spacious
Great location Stools at dining table
- Clare (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location backing onto national Park and walking distance to shops and beach.
