Guest Reviews

- Martha (8/5): It was a very good and comfortable place to stay during our visit to Vancouver. - It is well equipped.
Two bedrooms.
- Marie (10/5): Great place to stay. - Very comfortable little apartment. Annie is a wonderful host. You could hear the elderly couple next door very well.
- 名栩 (10/5): 10min walk to skytrain station and nearby restaurant, there’s also supermarket nearby. With full set of equipment, you c - Location, equipment. n.a
- Mik (9/5): Quaint cozy and comfortable - Very clean and comfortable. Nice quiet residential neighborhood with plenty of street parking and very near to public transportation.. As long as you understand and are ok with this being a studio apartment set up in the common area with only one separate private bedroom, not two bedrooms, you will be more than happy with the charming accommodations of this lovely home. Exceptional value for Vancouver. Everything was very nice.
- Aboozar (9/5): Superb -
- Irina (9/5): Very nice host. Beds are very comfortable, separate entry to the rooms, frypan to cook breakfast -
- Lindsay (10/5): Stayed here for 3 nights. Safe quiet and convenient to get around Vancouver. - Very clean, safe, and comfortable. Close to transit and an easy quick ride downtown. Safe neighbourhood and hosts were warm and lovely. A great place to stay in Vancouver!
- Mohammad (8/5): Very good - I mostly selected this place beacuse of the location. Everything turned out great for the first time so we came back for the second time this year!
- Tanya (8/5): Very good - The space, lots of parking, layout worked for our group. I'd like to suggest you add a strip of paneling to this side of the do not enter doors as it felt you could see well into his suite and him ours.
- Judy (10/5): Exceptional - Annie’s apartment was extremely clean, quiet and comfortable with most amenities required. A 10 minute walk from the station made the location good and there was a Safeway 15 mins walk away too. Annie was pleasant and efficient to deal with , even allowing us to drop our bags off earlier. Highly recommended.
- Mick (9/5): Superb -
- Wen-chia (10/5): Exceptional - The room is clean and cozy. The simple kitchen comes with microwave, fridge (a freezer is separated for ice cream ), washing machine, a sink and pots & plates stuff. The owner of the room is very nice helpful. A tour guide book was designed by the host to help us to make a better travel plan. The location is easy to use buses and Skytrain to different places. Overall, we had a good time during our stay ❤❤
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leck (10/5): Great Location, comfortable space! - Location was excellent, felt safe and was so easy to get to transit. Honestly, nothing. Zero complaints. The amenities and communication were excellent, no issues.
- Igor (9/5): everything is great - when we are in Vancouver, we will stay again) - Honesty and hospitality None
- Janet (7/5): The place was very clean..I and my son we enjoyed -
- Elizabeth (10/5): Great location. Quiet and comfortable - Great addition of kitchen sink in living room since my last visit.
- Daria (9/5): Superb - Good space for 3 people, had everything we needed, short walk to transit, on quiet street.
- Leayotta (10/5): Exceptional - Annie was very helpful in giving me directions about the place and helpful guide for my short Vancouver trip. Her home felt inviting and a relaxing space for me.
- Chenyu (10/5): Great - A warm and thoughtful landlord. Juice was also given. The house is very clean. With a lot of small objects, it is very considerate. There is also a thick local map and activity card. I like it very much. The location is also very good. It is very close to the subway station. In short, it's great. Nothing
- Robert (10/5): Great value - Check-in was simple and easy, place was super clean and we had everything we needed! Location is close to the Skytrain so we were only 20 mins away from DT Van. Would recommend!
- Stephanie (9/5): great location - Great location and good value for money
- Sergio (9/5): Nice & very welcoming spot. - The owner was very kind enough to leave a booklet that me & my friend looked through to give us ideas of where to go around in Vancouver. Tried some spots they recommended & was definitely not disappointed! When arriving, the place was very welcoming :) Didn’t have any issue. However, the electrical outlet issue is something that could be looked into more to provide guests with better access to using the electrical components at the same time without issue. Thankfully for the message provided by the owner, we didn’t use more than one electrical component at a time to prevent any outage.
The bed mattress wasn’t the most comfortable personally, but I still slept good.
- Sherry (10/5): Nice place - We were within walking distance to the light rail. Very convenient. The house is very pretty. She left snacks and sparkling cider for us. The driveway is a bit steep for handicap folk.
- Brenda (10/5): Beautiful, adorable, affordable! Loved it! Will definitely book again! - It was cozy and convenient to everything we wanted to go do. There was nothing to dislike!
- Christopher (8/5): Very good -
- Cathy (9/5): super place to stay and very comfortable - clean- self contained- beds comfortable- easy access- nice area- good for family- bottle of apple juice left for us- lovely. nothing-
- Ken (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elizabeth (10/5): Quiet living accommodations with quick access to transportation hubs - Great communication from host. Excellent binder of information on transportation and sightseeing ideas. Comfortable, well organized space. If you are sleeping in the main area bed you might want to use an eye mask as the sun has you awake early… which can also be a good thing, to get you up and get your holiday started!
- Laturnus (10/5): Excellent place to stay! - Easy to find if driving, reasonable, clean, private, close to transit…perfect!
- Alex (8/5): Good clean accommodation in a good location. - Television channels were not available for free. We had to have an account.
It was a hot accommodation. Couldn’t adjust the heat.
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Uwe (7/5): We felt very welcome and would recommend again. Thanks, Annie ! - Central location not far from sky thain entry can easily reached by a walk. Very friendly owners. Price is very fair. Good for 2 people or if more then for very good friends as we were here ;-) not so clearly announced by booking that one of the bedrooms is also kitchen. No water in the kitchen but only available in the bathroom.
- Christopher (9/5): A quiet, warm, and welcoming place to stay, on a very pleasant road. - The suite was warm and welcoming, and spacious. Bedlinens and plentiful towels felt soft and luxurious. It felt very nice to have snacks and drinks provided for us - thank you! Parking was right outside on a quiet tree-lined road (very convenient).
Annie was great with communications, and even left us a nice welcome card and a bottle of sparkling juice (how nice is that?) It would have been ideal to have had a small sink in the kitchen area to wash up mugs, glasses and utensils.
The beds were accessed easily from one side, but were more difficult to access from the other side which might be awkward for some people.
- Rafael (7/5): nice house and very attentive owner - There was public transport nearby but we didn't use it
The owner was always very attentive and concerned about our well-being
there was a manual with tips about the city, tours, restaurants,... the room was very cramped, there was no space to put our suitcases
Could have a sink to wash cutlery and glasses
the bedroom is a part of the house where the owners live, so it is possible to hear people talking or the TV
- Norma (10/5): Very nice. Very welcoming! Loved the greeting card! Highly recommended - It was very nice! Good area Nothing, it was perfect
- Kreymerman (9/5): Lovely Airbnb very close to the expo line with great amenties and comfortable beds. - such a nice and quiet place that is still not far from public transportation. The snacks and sparkling water provided were amazing. Annie herself was such an amazing person that let us keep the luggage with her until our flight. Thank you Annie! Air conditioning could not be controlled and fan temperature couldn’t be either(maybe due to the time of year) so it was a little bit stuffy and hot at times.
- Princepreet (10/5): Everything was good its located in very good neighbourhood and its also so soacious and clean - Spacious and clean N/A
- Rebecca (9/5): Our short stay was pleasant, quiet, and the rooms were super comfortable. - Wonderful to stay in a real neighborhood and feel a part of the nearby community; great to be close to the train and a park; Annie was so welcoming and helpful with everything! This is a good place if you want to enjoy Vancouver but be a little outside the more hectic city centre.
- Amar (10/5): Spacious comfortable apartment - Nice location, spacious well-equipped apartment, offering superb value for money. Quick replies to messages. 25 minutes to get downtown from the front door. Bathroom cleaning wasn't spotless, but the owner was responsive when I reported this after my stay.
- James (9/5): Perfect for one night. - Great location in a quiet leafy suburb, yet close to public transport and services. Up the hill there is a busy street with mostly Chinese, Vietnamese and Filipino stores and restaurants, and a Safeway. A short walk in the other direction leads to the train and bus station.
The place was quiet, clean and comfortable. The host provided a fridge freezer and cooking facilities, a folder with instructions and advice about the surrounding area, and coffee and tea with light snacks, which we made full use of.
We were greeted with a lovely welcome note, and a bottle of sparkling apple juice, very nice touch. There is also a large TV with Netflix available.
The shower was superb, and we left in the morning feeling fully refreshed. A kitchen sink would be nice, although that would obviously involve a hefty financial outlay from the hosts. It didn't matter to us as we only stayed one night, but I wouldn't recommend it to anybody looking to self-cater for more than a couple of days.
- Mohammad (10/5): Peaceful - Annie was a great communicator and the place was cozy and peaceful as advertised. Neighbourhood was very calm and beautiful. Close to airport and downtown with car. Nothing serious!
Although we knew from the ad, the property still needs a sink sth like a kitchen sink for washing dishes. This is a suggestion only!
- Simona (10/5): Exceptional - Annie is a wonderful host and made sure that we are comfortable during our stay. We liked the self check-in because of our evening arrival, and we received the entry passcode prior to arrival. The suite was just like shown on pictures, very clean, and beds that were very comfortable. We liked that we could walk to the Skytrain station, thus easy connection with downtown Vancouver. We are looking forward to our next stay. Nothing to report.
- Muhammad (10/5): Exceptional - Nice and well maintained
- Paolo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Harvinder (10/5): Wonderful experience at a very cozy and homely place for a family. - Very cozy, homely and warm place nicely arranged with all amenities. There was nothing that was unlikeable about the place. But would have been better if there was a facility to cook as well.
- Kip (10/5): Visiting Vancouver is worth the trip! - Place was very cozy and spotless. Annie is a gracious host and left a welcome gift. The space is roomy, the bedding is very comfortable , ample supplies for a few nights-keurig w coffee pods, flat screen, fridge, microwave, rice cooker- Slippers are even provided for walking inside. Great location- I walked up the street a couple of blocks away to plenty of local shops and restaurants. Also a book of things to do is left by Annie- just so many personal touches that made me feel so welcome. I will definitely stay there again every time I visit Vancouver. Internet is great, free Netflix, and great water pressure. Also felt very safe. And street side parking. Very quiet neighborhood as well. I highly recommend!!! Liked everything. Wish I could have stayed longer!!
- Tomiris (9/5): Superb -
- Sandra (9/5): Superb - Lovely little suite in quiet residential area. Impeccably clean. We had everything we needed for our short stay. Host was very attentive and communicative - she even mailed us a sweatshirt our daughter had left behind by accident. Not a problem for us during our stay, but someone planning on staying longer may miss a sink in the kitchenette area and some real dishes (the kitchenette has paper cups and plates and plastic silverware, some ceramic mugs).
- Claire (8/5): Very good - Location was great, easy access to transport and food places. We stayed here for 6 nights, we had a comfortable stay and even though there wasn't a proper kitchen, we were able to make do with what was supplied.
- Manacop (8/5): It was a wholesome stay in general. The place is peaceful. - No cooking faclities.
- Christopher (10/5): Just perfect - the host was so thoughtful and kind I loved the space
- Angelina (8/5): Very good -
- Catherine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional - Limited cooking facilities, but that suited us fine. Not too far to walk to subway station. Comfy bed. Nothing.
- Rita (6/5): Good location - poorly equipped. - Location - close to transit, easy parking on street.
Fridge/freezer - HUGE - too big for apartment. Kitchen facilities - no sink, plastic flatware (cutlery), only cardboard plates, no dishes for breakfast. Very poorly equipped.
Bed in main room - very squeaky. No where to put clothes. Only one small closet, with 5 or 6 hangers, no drawer space.
- Janet (10/5): Exceptional - Exactly as shown in pictures. TV with Netflix for anyone wanting a quiet night in. Very responsive to messages.
- Jnataliew (10/5): Exceptional - The rooms were clean, comfortable, and attractive. Annie was friendly and very helpful.
- Scott (10/5): Fantastic simple stay just what we needed before we headed home - How simple it all was No washing up facilities
- Caroline (9/5): Superb -
- Eric (10/5): Great value for money - Place was spacious, cozy, ideal for our overnight trip to Vancouver. Also, there was loads of street parking and the neighborhood felt very safe.
- Borowsky (8/5): Very good -
- Jamie (5/5): Not a house, not a place for four people definitely not ‘Spacious’. - Location was acceptable. It was quiet. Fruit juice was a nice touch The floors squeeked and creaked, and were filthy, no wonder they give you crocs to wear in house. The toilet tank dripped, and you could hear other bathrooms in house. There was no kitchen, only paper plates and cups. They left 6 coffee pods for four people for four days! There no teapot to brew tea, and the coffee maker was problematic. The ‘spacious bedroom’ had only 16 inches to get by the foot of it and a foot on the wall side to get out and around. The second ‘bedroom’ was just a bed in the corner of part of the main room. A cheap motel room on Kingsway would have been a better choice.
- Scdr (8/5): Very good - Close to rapid bus and SkyTrain and a.very restaurant. Clean and comfortable. Plastic cutlery but understandable. Flat sheets instead of only thick duvets would have made for a better sleep.
- Angelika (8/5): Very good -
- Wencui (9/5): Superb -
- Jimmy (8/5): It was a pleasant experience. - Location is great. The place is clean and tidy. No air conditioner. It was a bit "warm" at night.
- Kevin (7/5): Good - Location was perfect for our needs It was very hot. Might suggest adding air conditioning
- 佳樺 (10/5): This is a highly comfortable stay with a thoughtful host and a great location. - This is a highly comfortable stay with a thoughtful host and a great location.
- Ken (7/5): Was a good location for us. - Location and parking very good. Host present on sight and very helpful. Kitchenette not so easy to use.
- Jomon (10/5): 👍 - 👍 👌🏽
- Margo (7/5): Good - it was clean and bright. it was obvious Annie tried to make it comfortable. The area was quiet at night. The kitchenette facilities were not what we were hoping for. The small appliances and fridge provided were good but a sink with water would have been nice and cooking utensils besides a knife would be useful for those of us who prepare some of our own food. We prefer dishes and cutlery that isn’t disposable but I understand that this would be difficult without a sink with running water.
- Nikita (10/5): Exceptional -
- Constante (10/5): Best stay in YVR - The rooms shown is actually what you get. Very clean and spacious. Also, very quiet in the evening which is what we need for a good night rest. Amenities provided like coffee, tea, some cookies and water. Toiletries like towel, body soap, and shampoo were also provided. Wifi and netflix was great.
