• Jake (4/5): Huswell should be removed from the platform for misrepresentation - Location was great, coffee pods and welcome kit was also nice. Yet another app contrivance that spammed me every single day for a week until I gave my personal information to them for no reason whatsoever. They can get this from Booking perfectly fine, don't see the necessity for giving it a second time. When I logged into their website for the first time, I was stunned to see that I would have to pay €15(!) for the dubious luxury of having bedding and towels in the apartment. Only a call to their customer support line (at our cost) clarified that later. This simply should not be allowed on the platform. No additional apps ought to be necessary for a Booking reservation. Either remove the app requirement or Huswell should be booted for misrepresentation. Door was very dangerous as well - it didn't close properly so had to be put on the lock to keep your belongings safe. Again. Not remotely acceptable. Fix the lock. Very simple to do. Check-in and check-out were both obnoxious processes simply for the fact that I have to navigate to webpage, rather than receive information via email about this. Self-check outs can be done well, but it's usually done with a dropbox or something, not some buggy app that's stealing your personal info as you're just staying in an apartment. Not everything has to be an app. It puts unnecessary friction on the experience. Apartment had an old, minuscule TV. Not really acceptable in this day and age, but not the worst thing about it. Glass didn't appear to be double-glazed, so all outside noise came in, and the heat out. Took over 24 hours to increase the temperature from 16 degrees (yes, they turn it completely off when a guest isn't there - not good for the pipes) to 20.5 degrees. There was a €105 cleaning fee attached to my stay, but everything in the app indicated that we had to clean it ourselves. There was also a €30(!) fee associated with removing the waste from the bin. So in the end, we had to remove that ourselves.
• Hugo (1/5): Bad - L'emplacement. Very bad experience. A disgrace! Don't go in this apartment. I have been traveling for a long time and I am not a very demanding host, but I am very pist off about my stay. First, the noise. The windows are not insulated and you can ear every noise I the street (car, trucks, people yelling at night). No information about this terrible défaut in the presentation text. Secondly, no heating and no hot watter when we arrived. The boiler was not working. I had to spend 2 hours with someone one the phone helping me to prepare it my self! We had to wait four hours for the appartement to get warm, with our two years old kid... See the photo attached. Thirdly, the apartment was not clean and we found dust in some places (sadly, it was the last of our problem considering the rest). Last, the terrible assistance service. The person you have on the phone is not even in the city. His language was as polite as it was annoying, because this person didn't fix any of my problem beside helping me to repare the boiler. but no other help or commercial gesture. .
• Panayotis (8/5): Very good - The location is amazing! The apartment is fully equipped with everything you might need and the check-in process was a breeze. Huswell is making things unnecessarily complicated in my view. They provide you with a dashboard which can be overwhelming with all the info it has. It also says that I need to pay a deposit which wasn't listed anywhere. I ended up not paying that and nothing happened, but it made me doubt if it was legit as it wasn't listed anywhere in the booking page or our communications

• Dirk (7/5): Nice location, nice apartment, very noisy and a bit too expensive. - The apartment is in a prime location in Antwerp. The old town is just around the corner. The apartment is basically very nice the size pleasant and the equipment ok. I liked the small terrace and the large windows that flooded everything with light. The price-performance ratio does not correspond to the equipment. The large windows overlooking the courtyard are without curtains or blinds. The neighbor downstairs has a mirror hanging on his terrace and can thus look directly into the living room. The neighbor also spent several hours downstairs on the terrace - very haunted. The bathroom and toilet are a passage from the living room to the bedroom and the door to the living room could not be locked from the inside. Very unpleasant was the smell. The apartment smelled like a cesspool. The source could not be clearly identified. The cleanliness was basically ok, but for 89 € surcharge I expected more cleanliness here. Towels and bed linen had to be booked for an additional 30 €. The bedroom has only windows to the street. The street is very busy and with cobblestones. At night it was very noisy, on the one hand by the streetcars and the vehicles and the drunks who ran the entire night from the old town past the apartment - for this, however, the landlord can nothing!
