- ALI (1/5): - I booked accommodation on New Park Road, but was sent to Croydon instead and told the room was “broken.” This felt misleading and unacceptable. Nothing. Because I didn't staid there there and they didn't give my money back .do not book this one you will regret it.
- Yassine (5/5): Room is somewhat comfy, you need a taxi to go the toilet, unresponsive host. - The room was comfy enough and secluded. There was no hair dryer and no bin.
But the room was warm and comfortable, but it's not worth the price to be honest, will never book it again. The fact that you have to go through the garden and then the kitchen to be able to go the toilet or to take a shower, and you have to take all your things with you (towel, tooth brush, changing clothes) that was a real pain. and especially when it's raining.
I asked the host of WIFI password because my phone data was slow, and never got an answer.
Also the room advertised is not the room that I got.

I tried to ask for a refund nobody to speak to . Very bad experience of my life . I didn't like everything about this place , it look like an hostel .

Asking for my money as soon as possible
- N.g.. (1/5): Bad - Booking cancelled by hotel at the last moment (2 hours before checkin). No one even contacted us other than 1 message stating cancellation and we were unable to reach them. Really sad and frustrating to see such a thing. Just imagine how much trouble it would have caused us, as this was New Year's Eve with almost nothing else available and even if you find something it would have just impractical cost at the last moment.

- Craig (3/5): Fail - The whole process was somewhat a fail sadly 2 hours before I was due to arrive they told me the room wasn't available and gave me another room that was a two and a half hour bus ride away. The person I spoke to on the phone offered no help, was rude and then hung up on me.

The room was terrible, we arrived and left the place straightaway as it was impossible to sleep in a bed that dirty.
Unfortunately, even calling booking.com, no refund has been processed.
It is totally disappointing that booking through this company "booking.com" this type of things happen.
- Robin (1/5): Deceived. - A few hours before check in we got the information that we got relocated to a different apartment. This was in an unacceptable condition with dirt on the floor, wet towel and hairs in the sleeping room, a messy kitchen and i‘m not even talking about the bathroom. This was NOT the house shown on the pictures and we got clearly deceived. We leaved the hostel immediately. After informing the host and trying to find a solution we didn’t received no answer and opened an issue report on booking.com to get our money back.

- Jan (1/5): Avoid booking !!! - Made a booking in February 2023, as I was lucky enough to get centre court tickets for Wimbledon. The price of this apartment in a shared house was great.
4 days before our trip, I tried to contact the providers, Cribsurfers, to arrange access to the property. No one replied. I continued to send messages over the next couple of days, and was starting to feel a little stressed. This was a once in a lifetime trip for two elderly ladies. The night before travel, at 9pm, I received a message from Cribsurfers to say that they would have to cancel our accommodation as there had been some damage caused to the room. I don't believe for a second that there was damage, and I did ask for photographic proof (none was forthcoming) Cribsurfers had undoubtedly realised that they could get so much more for the room during Wimbledon fortnight. Now, I completely understand this, but be honest and forthcoming with people. My messages were ignored for 4 days, and to let me know right at the very last minute is despicable. I was devastated to say the least.
My whole experience with Cribsurfers has been appalling and I would not recommend this company to anyone who has a special occasion booked. Everything about the way this booking was handled.
- Alex (1/5): Awful - Nothing We booked for this location originally but while we were literally in the air travelling to the UK a message was sent to say that we had been moved to another property owned by the same people. After enquiring why we had been moved to a location that had much much much worse reviews, was cheaper when we had already paid and generally didn’t meet what we had booked for we were only told that there was unexpected damage to the original property.
Well the damage must have been immense in order for us to be moved, the new location (114 Fernlea Road):
- had an actual hole in the floor of the bedroom through the carpet and floor boards
- the room we were assigned was in the roof and had no curtains of any sort on one side meaning you had clear line of sight from houses across the street straight to the bed
- upstairs bathroom was missing the wall attachment for the shower head so it was just in the tub
- the wall mount didn’t really matter though as the drain was so badly clogged that it would back up with murky water after less than a minutes use.
- the downstairs bathroom initially had the sink cabinet hanging from the wall (this sink entirely disappeared on the second day meaning you had to walk to the other bathroom if you wanted to wash your hands after using the toilet)
- the downstairs bathroom also had a half attached wall tile and a little shelf for shower gel etc. Both the tile and the shelf came off at some point while we were not at the property and were discarded into the corner of the room never to be fixed again.
- By the 3rd morning of our stay the last remaining bit of soap in the house (across both bathrooms and the kitchen) had run out and was never replaced again.
We were given a very minor refund for some of the difference in price between the 2 properties but the quality of the stay was awful and we would never book any properties under this management again.

and close to catch the train the front and back gardens really need tidying up. the back garden is a great place to sit
but rather untidy
all the laundry in the kitchen
is problem . The same bedding was lying on the floor of the communal kitchen for our entire stay
and I didn’t even want to use the kitchen

- Charley (10/5): Exceptional - Really comfortable, cosy and clean private room in a quiet location. Shared kitchen and bathroom were always clean and well equipped with the necessaries. Wifi was fast and Netflix was available on the TV in the room. The host was lovely and super helpful. Would stay here again and would recommend it to friends :)
