- LISA (10/5): Perfectly located on the bay, this neat and spotless unit offers stunning sea views and a truly relaxing stay. - After a long 10-hour drive, arriving at Smooth Sailing felt like a breath of fresh air. The thoughtful touches really stood out — a complimentary bottle of wine and a gourmet breakfast pack waiting for us made all the difference. Such a warm and welcoming start to our stay. The check in process is very clunky. Most short stay accommodation these days have keyless entry and having yo send a photo holding ID pre-checkin is a weird verification process. Having to find a real estate office to get keys was a bit of a pain too. FYI: Tight onsite parking and steep stairs. Couches need to be replaced - not comfortable.

- Kevin (9/5): - Very good. After the initial clean was done , it was all good.
- Jenny (9/5): We enjoyed our stay very much - The location was accessible to the beach and to local shops The stairs
- ANN (10/5): Very Clean and comfortable - Location was excellent - close to the Regatta The Number of Stairs
- Felicity (9/5): -
- Melissa (10/5): - Location was incredible
- Natalie (10/5): Perfect in every way. - The hosts have thought of everything! Appreciated the condiments for toast and the liquid hand soap (we really hate bar soap for hand washing). The accomm has board games, books to read, even a first aid kit. Loved having a garage with remote for the car. Accommodation was beautiful. So much natural light. 2 unsuited bedrooms, big kitchen. We will only ever stay here when we visit Bribie. Great location 2 doors down from the Bribie Hotel. Only feedback is that it would be better to have 2 single beds in the 2nd bedroom, for families.
- mosese (8/5): Had a good three days stay Thank You. - It was close to Sandpoint Hotel where we had the wedding. The Garage was really small and the stairs was abit of a struggle from the front door to the main bedroom so we had to use first bedroom.
- Linda (10/5): Loved this place, wish I could have stayed longer. Will definitely book again. - Location was great, straight across from the water and parks. Spacious apartment with lots of light.
- Pauline (10/5): - Nice and clean
Welcome bottle of wine, very nice

- peter (8/5): Very well positioned.Very clean. Everything we needed in the house. But too many stairs. - N/A The stairs
- ADRIAN FISCHLE (8/5): Recommended place to stay. - Spacious, full of extras to support you on a holiday stay. Great location with great views. Leaf material would fall out of the vents all over the kitchen. Property management is aware and said they will look into it.
- Amie (9/5): Happy with this! - Nicely presented, well maintained and very spacious. Has everything you need if you wanted to eat at home, short walk to the local hotel and you lovely sunset stroll along the Broadwater directly opposite.
Great communication & hospitality from the property manager & team. The car park would be very hard to get a large car in, I have a mini SUV and it was quite tight. I used the visitor space as the garage remote didn’t work. But there is a single car garage at the property too.

- Rebecca (8/5): Very good - The place was very clean, easy access to the beach and other services. Highly recommend. Not a huge issue, but the car parking can be tight. There is PLENTY of parking across the road by the beach though.

- Clark (10/5): Exceptional - clean, kitchen well stocked with utensils, location is great,
- Tanya (9/5): A comfortable and easy stay. - Comfortable, clean, affordable and convenient. A couple of issues with aircon and garage remote. Both responded to promptly by management.
- Hugh (9/5): Superb -
- Sharon (9/5): Superb - Location was near everything we needed
Cleanliness of the property was excellent
Everything you could possibly need was provided
All the extra little touches were amazing eg; wet cloths in the fridge to cool you off on arrival, even a nice bottle of wine in the fridge. A mirror in the second bedroom would of been beneficial.
- Brett (9/5): Smooth Sailing is situated in a great position with lovely views (obstructed) of water & bridge. - Communications were prompt and accurate.
- Scott (9/5): Superb -
- Hall (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kristelle (8/5): Great location; nice property - Location; size of apartment Spa bath not really big enough for 2 people, which would have been nice, but I enjoyed it.
- Amie.g (10/5): Beautiful spot on the water - I love that it has everything that's needed and then some. All the extras in the cupboards and drawers that alot of stays don't have, it can really come in handy. My daughter loved that she could just go across the road for some fishing, I enjoyed watching the school of dolphins at night so close to the waters edge it was beautiful. The location is just so relaxing.
- Tania (2/5): NOT smooth sailing - Close to water and cafe, tavern On arrival was informed Wi-Fi not working. Found oven not working also told carer and they sent electrician out which they disconnected stovetop as well. No cooking facilities for our 6 day stay and then told our fault for not informing them. Then accused of breaking the connection in the wall for wifi…. Smells like wet dog and the bed smelt like fuel. Mould on lounge and air conditioning vents.
- Jess (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karen (8/5): Very good -
- Lanie (8/5): Great Location. Comfortable and clean. - Great location. Right next to the Bribie island Hotel which was handy. Only a walk over the bridge to sandstone point. Quiet , comfortable and clean. Nothing.
- Shelly (9/5): Superb - Was a nice place
- Julie (8/5): Great location - Perfect location for our weekend and visit to Sandstone Point Hotel for the Red Hot Summer. We received a complimentary bottle of bubbly which was very thoughtful. The hosts were very helpful and responsive and came to our rescue when we couldn't get the garage door to open - it wasn't faulty but we could just not get it open. Once it was open we had no further problems. Was great to have a smart TV so we could play our music on Spotify. Air conditioning was very much appreciated. Nice view of the water from the balcony and good to have on-site parking. I could not give a high rating for value for money as all accommodation on Bribie Island is over-priced whenever there are big concerts at Sandstone Point Hotel, so I guess this place is no different. I think it would be good value for money at other times. The upstairs shower head didn't work all that well so maybe needs some attention, but downstairs was ok. There were a few cockroaches around so maybe time for a pest treatment.
- Tahlia (6/5): Great location, terribly unhygienic and uncomfortable stay. - The location was amazing, just a two second walk across the road to the beach really suited our two toddlers. We could see the water from our balcony which was also really nice to wake up to. I liked having a lock up garage for our car as well, it just provided a little extra peace of mind. No aircons were put on prior to our arrival, given we are currently in a heat wave and we were arriving late I would have appreciated them being put on a few hours before we got there as it was incredibly hot and because it was ducted air conditioning it didn’t really cool down until early hours of the next morning. There is a major cockroach infestation in this property, they were crawling on my children at night and there was cockroach droppings on all of the plates and cutlery and cups provided so we ended up buying plastic plates and cups, we would have tried washing the dishes in the dishwasher but our initial attempt prompted more roaches to crawl out of the dishwasher. There was shards of broken glass on the balcony which ended up getting lodged in my little girls foot. There were stains on the bedding, and it was not very well cleaned prior to our arrival. While there was a washing machine, there was no appropriate drying facilities because the clothes hanger out the back didn’t have any useable pegs as they were all sun damaged and broke into pieces. Overall this property’s only positive was the location, really disappointed with our overall stay.
- Kelly (5/5): Passable - They're were 5 cockroaches I had to kill. Never been to a holiday resort with one let alone 5..hasn't even been fumigated. Also a party hotspot for hooks right across the rd ,both nights all night long. Been bottles smashing , fights, yelling ,screaming, spa plug comes loose so u can't sit down that end
