Guest Reviews
- Shiva (9/5): I would stay here again. - The single bed room at a hostel price makes this a really good value place to stay, the premises themself are quiet and on Friday night, the earplugs provided were really appreciated. Neighbouring property plays really loud music and the bass level made the bed actually vibrate. Wasn’t as loud on Saturday night as it was on Friday, midweek likely quiter still.

- Andres (10/5): Recomendado!
- Nataliya (10/5): - I think it was the cleanest shared kitchen and bathroom I’ve ever experienced in hostels Could be very loud in the night because of a bar nearby
- Lizzie (10/5): Peaceful rest after flight - It a shame I only stayed for 1 night after my flight, The single room I had was perfect and I had such a great sleep which was needed! Lola's was super clean and the facilities were great from the kitchen, free tea, coffee to the free books to read! I would definitely recommend this hostel for safety, comfort and its close to all amenities. Check in/out process was quick and easy. Thanks Nothing.

- Jeff (7/5): Decent for a short stay, unless you want to dance the night away next door. - The location near the Tracopa bus station, 5 minute walk, was great for getting an early travel start. It was out of Lola’s control, but be warned there is a disco club next door that played thumping music all night on a Wednesday. Luckily, I had some sleeping pills with me.

- Merrall (6/5): Private bathrooms need to be marked, eg: "Private bathroom: Room 4", or "... Room 5" - The location is excellent. Lolas Hostal is in Calle 9, which is a pedestrianised street, for several blocks. So it is very convenient to walk up Calle 9 to Avenida 0 (the main shopping street that has no traffic), or to Avenida 4 (also a main shopping street, more used by locals with cheaper prices than in Avenida 0). Calle 9 also has many good shops and places to eat, where there is no noisy passing traffic. The other benefit of the location in pedestrianised Calle 9 is that there is absolutely no traffic noise inside Lolas Hostal - although some rooms are near disco music that goes on until about 2 am. I was booked in a room with a shared bathroom, but it wasn't made clear to me, when I checked in, that the only bathroom I was 'allowed' to use was the one attached to the kitchen. That wasn't obvious because my room was in a group of three rooms, and there were two bathrooms opposite those three bedrooms. So I assumed that the guests booked into those three rooms could share the two close bathrooms, and also the one attached to the kitchen. But, in fact, the two bathrooms near the three bedrooms were solely for use by the other two rooms, which had one or other of the two close bathrooms booked as a private bathroom. I actually preferred the bathroom attached to the kitchen, and always had my shower there but, one day (during the week I was at Lolas), I went into one of those close bathrooms to clean my teeth. That resulted in a couple who had a private-bathroom booking positively abusing me because I was using their bathroom. For the rest of the time that the couple stayed at Lolas Hostal, they were constantly hostile to me - mostly when I was in the shared kitchen. What needs to happen, to avoid hurtful conflict like I have described,is that there should be signs on the bathroom doors, clearly marking them as private bathrooms that are attached to Room 4, and Room 5. My advice for a prospective guest, booking a room with a shared bathroom, is to be very sure you understand, at check-in time, which bathroom you are 'allowed' to use.
- Natividad (10/5): The host was very accommodating to my late arrival after my flight was delayed. - The location.
- Garrido (10/5): Exceptional - I stayed just 1 night , and I arrived late that night.Everything was perfect a super clean and the place very nice aswell
- Sutherland (6/5): Pleasant - The staff were really kind and helpful There was loud music until the early hours of the morning so I didn’t get much sleep
