• Lin (10/5): Nice stay for a family. Highly recommend! - Location was perfect. Walking distance to main street of the town and the beach. Close to the shops, bakery, restaurants and bottle shop. The place was so cozy with everything that I need. Plenty cookware to use which was very handy. There were also lots of kids toys and books which kept my children occupied in the evening. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you! It would be great if there was a dishwasher. But this wasn’t a big problem. The clothes rack was too small for a family of four.

• Josh (10/5): Lovely little place, great for a weekend getaway or family trip. - A nice cosy comfy place, felt like home Nothing! Everything was amazing and as explained!
• Claire (8/5): Perfectly located, family friendly, stay with all a family could need. - Excellent spot, within walking distance to everything, town centre, Bicheno beams, the pub etc. Great layout and family friendly, easy to heat, clean and relax, it truly had everything we need. Perfect backyard to relax on a nice arvo, flat and safe for children. The home was a great size, with everything we needed and more. Our son loved all the extra toys, balls etc. the bedding was warm and comfortable. We loved it but a few small things - it was wild 70klm winds and with the windows closed the blinds were really blowing around with the draft coming through, but luckily the heat pump is more than sufficient in heating and overcoming that. under the beds were very very dusty. We also couldn’t get the key provided to lock or unlock the property. But this is all picky and honestly it was such a fantastic place, we started researching to buy one just like it haha.

• Tammy (8/5): Great location and neat home - Fantastic location, quiet but super close to the beach and shops. Lots of extras provided particularly for smaller kids. Everything was clean and tidy. Clothes line mounted too high for short people to reach (if you are 155cm or under you won't be able to use it)
• Ceedub60 (8/5): Little Bicheno Gem - This property is a little gem. Easy walk into town, well-equipped and good value. Well stocked pantry with all the essentials that are often missing in other properties. Fire pit and deck in the backyard added extra spaces to enjoy. Bask is especially well set up for families, with lots of play equipment and space to play. Our 3 night stay was perfect for exploring the town of Bicheno and surrounding areas.

• Pete (10/5): Could come here with just the clothes on your back and still have a very comfortable stay 😎 - Exceptionally well-appointed with everything one needs for a very comfortable and relaxing stay, including a well-stocked pantry and kitchen. Nothing that we didn’t like but thought a clothes dryer could be a good addition if the weather wasn’t suitable to dry clothes outside, as it was during our stay.
• Y (10/5): Highly recommended accomodation - Awesome property! Very clean upon arrival. Key to property conveniently placed outside in a box. Kitchen had everything we needed (we contributed more items brought from Sydney as we did not know). Excellent wifi and smart TV connected to a good sound bar. We used the fire pit once and it was fun! Easy drive to everywhere in Bicheno. Definitely highly recommended! Neighbour was noisy while fixing his boat and car. The handle of the window of the bathroom was broken/missing and lots of flies came in as we could not close it.

• Jess (10/5): Overall was an amazing stay and would definitely stay again - Absolutely loved this house. Great location and very family friendly. We had our toddler with us and there was blocks and toys, books and a big backyard with a swing set which kept him very busy and happy. The only thing I will say about the property is that when I went to use the washing machine it had a bit of a musty/mouldy smell and could see that it needed a clean. Visable mould spots inside the machine that could be cleaned.
• Scott (10/5): Perfect location for a family trip away - Great backyard for the kids to play in and the fire pit was a great relaxing spot to sit. It was close to everything in town so we could walk to shops, the park or beach. Overall a great place for a family holiday.

Beautifully appointed, with a pantry and fridge full of staples. The backyard is wonderful - well-maintained, spacious, and with a fabulous firepit area. The place was beautifully warm on arrival. The beds are only double beds - they're very small. There was every type of glass, except champagne glasses. I would also recommend the hosts provide boxes of tissues. It didn't bother us, but it should be noted there is no dishwasher.

Beautiful, clean, fresh home, great games & books to entertain a 2 year old. We took advantage of the great fire pit space on a cool evening & the reverse cycle aircon to warm the house was so comforting for my FNQ family. A few of the fixtures were broken/we avoided using as they looked like they’d fall off. The room with the queen bed it, we didn’t need to sleep in but when we pulled the door closed the handle came out of the door slightly. The towel hanger on the glass in the bathroom falls down so not able to use. Very minor concerns, more so noting so owner can repair.

• Hanne (8/5): Very good - Great proximity to beach, yard is fun for children to run about in. We appreciated the games and books at the house. The place had everything we needed! The oven knobs got very hot when cooking, so a bit of a safety hazard. Back deck was in full sun so we didn't use it as it was too hot - some shade would make the area a great spot to sit or play.

The Cottage was gorgeous, everything you could possibly want and everything you could hope for in beautiful Bicheno. There was even a coffee machine with pods. GREAT location accessible to everything and not far from the beach. The deck outside was amazing and there is a fire pit also. From memory there may not have been a dishwasher in this property which didn't bother me at all.

Would be great to have some sort of shade for the deck and the house needs pest control for spiders beds were very hard.

We loved the well stocked kitchen and play area and backyard. kids had tons of fun. love the colour scheme and how wonderfully equipped the place was. I will be recommending this place to friends it was the highlight of our trip!

• Hannah (8/5): Great location, beautiful space and had everything you could need! Had great touches for the kids - It had everything you could possibly need. Especially for the kids! Nothing that we didn’t like. The wardrobe in the kids room wasn’t the easiest to use and the boxes in the master bedroom were very dusty. Apart from that, everything was perfect!
• Martin (9/5): All you need for a stay at Bicheno - Very well set up for traveling with kids, they have plenty of toys and kept things simple so kids won’t accidentally damage pieces Nothing really, a suggestion could be to turn the door to the room with the bunk bed to open towards the wall rather than into the room, makes access slightly awkward. But really no big deal, just an improvement suggestion.
• Karen (10/5): Exceptional - We’ll equipped home, comfortable beds, fire pit, plenty of outdoor sports gear and back yard space, herb garden, excellent internet, smart TV. Modern decor, plenty of glassware amd crockery, sharp knife (can’t tell you enough how important that is). Pens, paper for drawing. Black and flavoured Teas, plus coffee pod & machine supplied. Oils and sauces. We were really impressed with this well presented home. And the location is perfect for walking everywhere. The aircon was heating but it couldn’t heat up the rooms, so we had to wear our jackets and sit under blankets, which was not the end of the world.
