- Margaret (1/5): - Nothing Location, misrepresented as beach cottage, but was actually on mud side road, could not even see a beach, only old shipping containers in front of property. Contacted representative, who was so rude to us, simply laughed and said we obviously had not read the information package properly. We received a list of rules for our stay at the cottage, which included brushing sand off our feet before entering. Well, it would have been far more likely to be mud on our feet, not sand, in fact the whole place was such a disappointment and did not come anywhere close to meeting our expectations that we abandoned our stay there, without even spending a day there ,completely missing Port Arthur due to no other accommodation. Put simply it was the worst experience of our entire holiday, that property's representative should be ashamed of himself.
- Katrina (8/5): Great location, peaceful location, enjoyed our stay. - Quiet location, great view of Port Arthur area. Fully self contained, laundry facilities convenient and the coffee machine was a bonus! Bathroom area quite small, as were the bedrooms.
- Ayako (8/5): - Space, location and it was just a confortable space for us to relax. None. For the price, great value.
- Pamela (8/5): All good. - Well maintained and comfortable. Having to take your shoes off at the door.
- Eva Murray (8/5): -
- Kissack (3/5): Uncomfortable - The quiet location So many rules about keeping it clean, yet on arrival a coffee cup on decking, shower looked as though someone just used it. Broken cupboard, on the fold bed 1 cushion was broken and the sheet looked as it never been changed.
- Adele (9/5): - Quiet, plenty of space, clean and awesome location đ
- Alexander (10/5): -

- Way2Groovy (8/5): - The accommodation was clean, though it didnât feel particularly cozy. While it was convenient to a couple of nearby attractions, the overall location was somewhat inconvenient and not very centrally located.
One positive was that shades were installed over the entry door, which was appreciated since the camera positioned outside could otherwise look into the space and felt a bit unnerving. A washer was available, which was helpful, though the three bottles of detergent provided were empty. There were also no kitchen towels available to dry dishes, so we had to use a bathroom towel instead.
The TV setup was also a bit of a challenge to navigate. Additionally, food in Port Arthur was somewhat disappointing compared to expectations as it only had a general store.

- Thomas (7/5): Good cheap accommodation for the area but needed a little more cleaning - Great location, had everything we needed. The property was a bit dirty. Kitchen had crumbs and stains from previous guests. Cobwebs were in rooms. Definitely needed a more thorough cleaning in between guests.
- Mckay (10/5): -
- Tomas (9/5): Centralt läge och prisvärt - Centralt läge i Port Arthur. Prisvärt. Trevligt enkelt inrett.
- Michael (9/5): - Very well presented All good
- Kat (10/5): -
- Tracey (7/5): - Fantastic location. Warm place. Great outlook. Cleanliness wasn't up to scratch.
Kitchenware sparse and some stuff broken.
- Sue (7/5): -
- Leah (4/5): ok - Fed back to owner re issues
Not clean floors and beds
- Drew (10/5): - Clean, well-looked after cottage with excellent communication from hosts. Comfy beds, loved the recliner in front of the TV, well-stocked utensils/appliances in kitchen. Plenty of extra blankets/pillows Bathroom was a little cramped, however was clean and fit for purpose
- Aimee (9/5): - The property is beautiful, offering a quiet and peaceful location. We stayed for two nights, and the accommodations were clean and tidy.
- Jennifer (9/5): - Nice quiet place with everything you needed to cook meals and a 5 minute walk from the beach. Internet was a bit spotty at first, kept dropping out, but then improved once rebooted.
- Kerry (7/5): - The cottage is well set up and very convenient The cleanliness could be improved
- Annie (8/5): - Great location, comfortable bedding, private and quiet area
- Joanne (7/5): Good location to Port Arthur. Had all the basic essentials. - Close to the beach Bathroom was very tiny
- carolyn (7/5): - Position, quiet area, close to where we visited. Comfortable beds, good communication with owner re check in details , wifi, great airfryer, had hpod kitchen utensils. Could have been cleaner. Oven was very dirty - we didnt use it. Kitchen sponge was dirty, crumbs from toaster over base of cupboard. Some crockery badly cracked as well as a mixing bowl.
However I would stay there again.
- Michelle (1/5): Disgusting experience - Unfortunately the only thing about this accommodation that was enjoyable was the location as it was incredibly unclean, it was actually so dirty that we had to clean it ourselves, we vacuumed and wiped everything over with a damp cloth. Very unclean, dirty, as I already stated we had to clean everything ourselves and it looked as if it hadn't been cleaned properly in months. The bedding also had stains. After staying one night, we slept poorly due to the unhealthy state of the accommodation and decided to head home a day early even though we had payed for 2 nights.
- Matthews (8/5): -
- Erna (8/5): A successful stay - Fantastic kitchen
Good service It was all good canât complain about anything
- Michael (7/5): - Well appointed kitchen and laundry. Kitchen had a coffee machine , air fryer, microwave and oven with cook top.
Bathroom was small but functional.
All rooms had plenty of product available. The bed was very uncomfortable.
- David Abercrombie (7/5): Pt arthur - The view was excellent and only 3 mins from town and port arthur site Didnt have much room down sides of bed
No curtains to block out morning sun
- Emma (9/5): - The hosts thought of everything. A lovely place to stay. Close to the historic site, only 5 minutes. Great for when you're doing a ghost tour!
- Bruce (8/5): Well positioned accommodation for Port Arthur and local walking tracks. A comfortable stay. - The location was great. The property was spacious and had everything we mainly needed. It was good to have a washing machine available, especially when on tank water. Could have had a dryer with the washing machine - especially for wet weather times.
The signage for people not to wear shoes inside was very excessive. Being told once should be enough. Signs were everywhere you turned. If people don't adhere to the request/order then they should be charged a cleaning fee - maybe have this paid upfront and then returned on completion of the stay if the rule was adhered to satisfactorily.
The stove needs an update - it works but takes a long time to cook anything on.
A bottle opener would have been a nice addition to all the other utensils.
There was no body wash for showering for those that don't use soap.
- Nicci (1/5): - Location Location The cabin was filthy, would NOT RECOMMEND
booking com should remove this listing.
- Sally (6/5): Adequate - cosy - Some things need fixing:
The cistern is not properly attached and caused the pump to malfunction at one time
The electricity box cover is broken and banged in the wind.
The TV buffered a lot
- Deborah (10/5): Really enjoyed it. Cute comfy cottage close to beach and everything ekse - It was cosy and as I expected. Perfect for our requirements. Close to everything. I loved the water glimpses from the windows and balcony Cant think of any thing
- Renee (7/5): -
- Evonne (10/5): -
- Robert (10/5): -
- Wendy (9/5): Love the quietness - The quietness, the accomodation was clean and comfortable. It was a lovely stay. The bathroom was small but we are big people so our issue.
- Aimee (6/5): - Wasnât as clean as expected. Tried to use the oven and it started pouring out with smoke because it was dirty. The beds had been stripped but not made properly, no covers on the doonas. Some of the cutlery hadnât been washed up properly. The fan/heat lamp in the bathroom has quite a build up of dust in it also
- Juanita (8/5): Peace and quiet - great stay. - Great little cottage, everything Imy mum and I needed for a couple of nights in the area, a very quiet peaceful spot. All the basic facilities, it was warm, the beds were comfortable, laundry facilities available and full kitchen. Very close to Port Arthur historical site. Nice little cove beach nearby. Hosts were very responsive and friendly when I contacted them regarding the keys I would definitely stay again, great little getaway spot. If you're after luxury, this isn't for you, but if you want a place that is comfortable and has everything you need in a peaceful setting, this is the place to be.

- Rosemary (8/5): Good value for money - Close to golf course Very small bedroom with double bed pushed against the wall
- Judy (9/5): Practical and convenient for Port Arthur - Great, quiet location close to Port Arthur. Simple accommodation with everything we needed. Was great for an overnight stay.
- Williams (9/5): Superb -
- Joanne (8/5): Great location but needs work - Privacy and space. Internet and nice TV. Location was great. Interior fairly clean. Condiments and cutlery etc. provided were handy. Pretty garden at front. Entry instructions clear and easy to follow. Bed quilts warm and cosy. The bathroom was tiny for 4 people. The exterior was not very clean. Dirty windows and sliding doors. Grass and dirt in sliding door tracks. Track rollers need replacing. Cobwebs on exterior windows and surrounds. Gardens overgrown at back. Windows were locked so couldn't be opened to allow air in. Dried food remnants on kitchen tap. Hand soap bottle in kitchen was all slippery had to wash it before using it. I was looking forward to being able to wash clothes but there was no dryer. Couldn't use the clothes line as was raining. Assumed the washing machine doubled as a dryer and got caught not being able to dry our washing. Very unusual for there to be a washing machine and not dryer.

- Daniel (3/5): Poor - The bedrooms were very cold as no heater in the rooms
- Kiki (8/5): Very good -
- Bruce (9/5): Port Arthur trip. - Nice and pleasant little cottage with lots of room and good cooking facilities.
Quiet area and central to the area. Little disappointed with Port Arthur, but the accommodation was great.
- Julie (1/5): Worst stay anywhere ever. Would not recommend. - Couldn't have breakfast , Couldn't shower , flush toilet or have drinking water as owner had cut off the water.
Good job there wasn't a fire otherwise wouldn't have been able to put it out.
I made a mistake and didn't realize that the place wasn't dog friendly , my partner and I was 120 kms from home and we were quite drunk from watching AFL grand final. Certainly Couldn't drive home. The owner expected us to leave drunk and we couldn't so he cut off water. Not good especially when it was $249.00 for 1 night. We were ripped off big time. Nothing , very poor and unpleasant stay
- Wendy (8/5): Very good -
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - Great location , good facilities Nothing it was all good
- Bonnie (6/5): Pleasant -
- Christa (8/5): Very good - Great location, very tidy clean cottage, very quiet area Only thing I can fault was it would of be nice with some steak knifes had everything else we needed though

- Robert (8/5): Nice spot with good hosts . - Good location for experiencing the peninsula Suggest drain holes be drilled in the deck to allow water yo drain
- Philip (8/5): Very good -
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Juchen (5/5): Passable - All of the three bed is too soft. Can't fall asleep at all. Feeling better to sleep on the floor.
- Dennis (5/5): Passable - Location. No electric blankets, no bedside tables, mould in bathroom, toilet cistern falling off wall
- Bonnie (10/5): Very quiet location, excellent facilities. - Not applicable. Nothing really. Everything was near perfect.
- Tony (4/5): Disappointing - Quiet. Bathroom was tiny, needed to be a contortionist. Shoes off before entering? Worn carpet inside. Camera at the front door.
- Julie (8/5): Quiet, relaxing and comfortable; - Nice, quiet and handy location for our short stay to Tasman Peninsula; well-equipped kitchen, and nice living area; small bedroom/bathroom although quite sufficient made it awkward for organising and juggling personal items and luggage cases;
- Lisa (6/5): Needs a thorough clean. - Close to Port Arthur historic site. The place was not clean. Very dusty, cobwebs, needed vacuuming, many dead insects in the bedrooms and all window sill. The garden were messy and overgrown in places. No soap provided at all. Walls patched up.
- Carolin (8/5): Great place to stay - The accommodation is modern, spacious and clean. The garden is huge. The beds were comfortable and there is a washing machine. The toilet had a weird smell reminding us of sweat. The house can become really cold and the heater takes a long time to warm up the whole place.
- Wendy (8/5): Very good - The deck Not enough room for 3 adults
- Miles (9/5): Superb - Perfect for what we needed. Clean, functional, good location & really clear instructions for using the facilities.
- Paul (8/5): Port Arthur and surrounds springboard locale. - Great Privacy. Wonderful location.
Birds noises lovely. Lovely outlook outside.
Good value. Long list of to do and don't do stuff;
understandable but .... be friendly.
Couldn't find spare toilet paper.
- Leanne (9/5): Superb -
- Amanda (4/5): Accommodation was less than average, but was great to see my family. - Close to beach and where we needed to be for my mothers wedding Being advised the day prior to checking in that I wasnât to have anymore that 1-2 guests come over.
That there was a restriction imposed by the council on how many people are allowed at the property.
Internet continuously dropped in and out, mostly out.
There was left over food left in the freezer and only half a roll of toilet paper. And a open bar of soap left in the shower. Also the positioning of the security camera, I feel, is unacceptable. It would be able to view into the âliving areaâ and out on to the back deck, I feel this is a major breach of privacy.
Friends and other family also had accommodations in port Arthur and their properties far exceeded this one⌠and they paid less. All in all it was disappointing and we left the property early on Sunday instead of staying until Monday as there was once again power and internet outages.
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Tracey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Colleen (8/5): Very clean - Clean Small bedroom and bathroom. Not easy to move about
- Jodie (9/5): Amazing little property, extremely clean & everything you need. Hosts very responsive with message. -
