- Malissa (7/5): Was good. Good location easy to find. - Location is good. Some cosmetic upgrades would make it a bit nicer. There are not enough PowerPoints for a larger family.
- Andrew (7/5): -
- Poorva (1/5): Worst nightmare - Very unprofessional way to handle this worst property I have ever lived in… beware it’s old and leaks from everywhere.
- Nicole (4/5): Disappointing -
- Vivek (1/5): Felt Cheated - Nothing except Location. Room were dirty. Lot of dust on Sofas and windows. Black muck deposites on windows flying in on opening. Response on raising complain was slow and didnot get issues resolved till end of the trip. Roof had cracks in kitchen and bedroom, especially the kitchen one were food safety hazard as dust fell down over the cook top. Bathroom also needs deep clean, washbasin was hanging loose, safety hazard for kids...None of these were mentioned while booking...Felt Cheated. Not at all value for money.
- Eduardo (8/5): Great location - Walking distance to local shops.
Only a small handful of gift and clothing stores but we loved most of them.
Walking distance to little park, rsl, restaurants, jettys for fishing.
About a 7min drive to a beach.
Kitchen had good supply of cutlery, plates, utensils. Not really a place for kids as there isnt much there for them apart from small park and beach. Would be more for young adults wanting a place to relax, kayak, boat and fish, couples or retirees which we saw alot of.
- Cathy (2/5): Musky, dusty, and overpriced!!! - We liked the location- central to all Sussex Inlet CBD. Walked everywhere but needed to drive 10 mins to the beach. The cabin was dirty inside and out. The outside coffee table was falling apart and there was dog poo all around the front of our cabin. Inside it was dark and musky. The smell of dust was everywhere. The cabin has been very neglected. Dust laden lace curtains in all rooms. The front roller blind was down and broken so we had very limited natural light. The bathroom needs a total gut, disgusting. The birds (or whatever) in the roof of the vacant neighbouring cabin were very noisy. So disappointed as we have rented down at the inlet on a number of occasions without any probs. The cabin would probably suite backpackers at a third of the current price. Very disappointed!
- Catherine (8/5): Very good - It was in walking distance of the shops. Maybe the front steps and verandah could use some extra work. Otherwise the facility was very comfortable. Maybe a reading light in the lounge room would have been good for a reader. All the indoor facilities were good.
- Grant (10/5): Exceptional - So relaxing Air didn't work
- Matt (7/5): Adequate for needs - Very roomy Quite run down and felt aged and carpets but smelly
- Naomi (10/5): Lovely Cottage - I liked most of it all. Was a lovely stay.
With the bedroom blind in room with 2 lamps.. the chain often came out of its connector and that was easy to click it back in again.
The grill I couldn't get working but the oven did which is good.
The Gas lighters have no flame anymore.. just flicker..
so that might have been why it took little while to start the elements.
The heater works really well.. was good in loungeroom 👍
Of a night late .. when it's darker and kitchen light is off cause otherwise the glare is too bright .. we were watching a movie with my son before bed..
and I used one of the bedside lamps and put on TV stand behind the TV.. it just added soft light which was really nice.. then I put lamp back beside bed nightbefore leaving.
We had a lovely stay and I tidied up afterwards.. and used Glen 20 to freshen the air before we left.
I bought the cottage a round bamboo mat that I put under the vase on dining table... for you as thank you for letting us stay another night . Not much I didn't like. We had a lovely stay 😊
- Phillipa (10/5): Exceptional - The closeness to all shops clubs and the people are friendly. N/A
- Brett (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amanda (6/5): Pleasant - Location was good. Beds comfy. The cabin was in a rundown caravan park. The musty smell and mould in bathroom was a concern. Just needed a bit more of attention to detail. The three sided grater was amusing.
- Nicole (8/5): Fun with the family - Location I cleaned the ceiling fans before they could be turned on . Dusty
- Jenaya (10/5): I love the location - I love how it is so close to town walking distance to the shops lovely location and the locals is nice There’s nothing that I don’t like
